The best restaurants serving Italian food in Eastbourne South East

Good coffee, kind staff, and drinks prepared promptly if you’re getting a train. The seating is comfortable and there were a good range of drinks available.

We visited here for a family birthday as it had been highly recommended to us. It did not disappoint, the small, friendly restaurant had a cosy atmosphere, the service was perfect and well what can I say about the food, a fantastic menu also with a wide range of options for vegetarians and vegans as well. Every meal was delicious. We will definitely return and recommend to anyone that knows us.

A warm, friendly Italian restaurant with a superb ambience. Brilliant food, great service and friendly staff. So much so that for the two days we’re visiting Eastbourne we’re going back the second night. What a shame it’s not our local!

The food was amazing no doubt but the service was awful! The waitress took the drinks order and came back twice and still needed to check. I waited a further 15 minutes for my drink. We then waited almost 30 minutes for the staff to come back and take our order. We were told that there was no pita bread, my frown ordered a diet lemonade only to be told later it wasn’t diet after drinking. The margarita had something fizzy in and didn’t taste like a margarita, but having waited ages for. Like I said the food was lovely. We were still eating our starters when they bright the mains out but the table hadn’t been cleared so had to fumble around to make room. Then had to wait for new cutlery. We wanted to order coffees at the end it to be told that there was none. The waiter brought over Tequila shots as an apology for the coffee but there was no lime or salt to go with the shots. Again the food in general was amazing but there was a huge lack of organisation.No loo roll in the loo and it wasn’t busy so we didn’t really get why the service was long it was.

Me and my Partner came here on Friday the 7th of Feb for our valentine's date and it was fantastic, friendly and helpful staff with prompt service, the food was amazing we can't fault it highly recommend.

Lovely coffee, rich and tasty (unlike the stuff they use in Costa!). Friendly staff 👍🏻 Edited to add that pasta dishes are fabulous. I had the Arrabbiata, it was punchy and very tasty. I'll definitely be returning to try the other pasta dishes on the menu 😊

Just returned from a lovely lunch cooked by Gigi. Superb! Staff all smiles and couldn't do enough to make the meal really enjoyable. Been coming here for years and each time is excellent value.

A colleague and ate here while attending a course. The waitress greeted us warmly and asked where we wanted to sit and then quickly brought menus and sorted our drinks. We chose starters and mains both of which were very nice. Several regulars were in and I can see why. Highly recommend

We went to Tony Piccante’s for a family meal, we received excellent food and a friendly, welcoming attentive service. Pizzas were made fresh.

Warning. This restaurant is closed, its no longer in Eastbourne. Do not try to book a table or just turn up

Food is great but they wouldn’t let us sit in with our desserts and kids , made us take them away even though it was only 5:45pm on a Saturday evening. I honestly believe they just couldn’t be bothered to re clean the tables

Visited with my parents and cannot recommend enough. The chef made me spaghetti vongole and it was an amazing, authentic dish without tomato sauce. Can't wait to return.
