The best restaurants serving Italian food in Eastbourne South East

We visited here for a family birthday as it had been highly recommended to us. It did not disappoint, the small, friendly restaurant had a cosy atmosphere, the service was perfect and well what can I say about the food, a fantastic menu also with a wide range of options for vegetarians and vegans as well. Every meal was delicious. We will definitely return and recommend to anyone that knows us.

A warm, friendly Italian restaurant with a superb ambience. Brilliant food, great service and friendly staff. So much so that for the two days we’re visiting Eastbourne we’re going back the second night. What a shame it’s not our local!

The food was amazing no doubt but the service was awful! The waitress took the drinks order and came back twice and still needed to check. I waited a further 15 minutes for my drink. We then waited almost 30 minutes for the staff to come back and take our order. We were told that there was no pita bread, my frown ordered a diet lemonade only to be told later it wasn’t diet after drinking. The margarita had something fizzy in and didn’t taste like a margarita, but having waited ages for. Like I said the food was lovely. We were still eating our starters when they bright the mains out but the table hadn’t been cleared so had to fumble around to make room. Then had to wait for new cutlery. We wanted to order coffees at the end it to be told that there was none. The waiter brought over Tequila shots as an apology for the coffee but there was no lime or salt to go with the shots. Again the food in general was amazing but there was a huge lack of organisation.No loo roll in the loo and it wasn’t busy so we didn’t really get why the service was long it was.

Takeaway was absolutely vile. Cold, bland. Calamari was soggy and tasted like undercooked rubber. Avoid. Utter waste of money.

The food would have been great had it not been stone cold when it got here. The bit we ate tasted okay but the chips had gone hard and the pizza was so so cold. :( Sorry - not a great one this time.

Amazing Pizzas and beautiful atmosphere. The owner Zia is down to earth and accommodating from the minute you walk through the door. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.

We went to Tony Piccante’s for a family meal, we received excellent food and a friendly, welcoming attentive service. Pizzas were made fresh.

Warning. This restaurant is closed, its no longer in Eastbourne. Do not try to book a table or just turn up

We went out for a Birthday meal and the food and service was great. We often go to Pablo’s as it’s local to us, we’ve never had a bad experience but some occasions are better than others. Last night Tina was great, a top waitress who’s a credit to the business. Last was probably the best night we’ve ever had in the 10 years of going there.
