18 of us came here last night to celebrate a friends 50th . The food was lovely , the staff were great and very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble . A very nice restaurant .

We went here and used our clubcard vouchers (LUCKILY). Chose Prezzo as we had been few years ago and enjoyed the food. Service- was OK, hence left a tip Food- starters- we had garlic bread with balsamic onions and mozzarella. This was OK. Drinks- had blood orange mocktail- nothing special. mains- We had pumpkin ravioli wiht mushroom sauce- there was no sauce only 'mushroom water' The mushrooms were tasteless. The ravioli was awful. Hubby had lobster ravioli- very small portion- hardly 5-6 small ravioli for £18. We dared not order any desert. Very disappointed. Will not go again.

I ordered a vegan spaghetti bolognese but my delivery contained a very dry, almost inedible fusilli with some lentils, a sprinkling of very finely chopped pepper and that was about it. No sauce, no flavour. I had to add olive oil so that it wasn’t so dry but it was still awful. My friend said that his spaghetti bolognese was also dry. Wont be buying from here again. The banana sandwich I had for dinner was lovely btw :)

Excellent value for money. We booked early so received a complimentary glass of prosecco each with our meal, which was a generous glass too. The staff were attentive and friendly and we weren't made to feel rushed at all, as you so often can in December. One of our party was celebrating a birthday and the staff brought out a dessert with a candle in for her, much appreciated.

We have always enjoyed meals in our local Prezzo, but having checked out menu online we went for lunch today. When we looked at the menu prices were massively more than the menu we viewed online! The service was excellent as always, but the pasta dishes that were £9.50 are now £14.50, my chicken dish which was £14.50 is now £17.95! We all know food costs and bills generally have gone up, but how can they justify 55% increase on pasta dishes? Food we had was fine, but it will be our last visit to Prezzo, we have many restaurants in Eastbourne that offer much better value for money. Disappointed in your very pricy menu

Firstly the online menu doesn't show prices which is fine, it's only pasta and pizza. Paid £14.50 for a tiny bowl of wet spaghetti with about a table spoon of ragu and what I did receive was very bland. Absolute rip off. Annoying as there are some good restaurants nearby. To make it worse, we couldn't have a private conversation because despite the place being quiet, the waitress plonked another party right on top of us. If you want Italian, anywhere is better than here.

Had to wait ages for meal then when they arrived the veggie ceasar salad had chicken on it then when it came back it had no cheese I complained to be told there was no cheese left We basically got a plate of lettuce 25 percent was taken of bill but not impressed won’t be going back

The food was tasty. Could have had a slightly bigger portion - had the lobster and prawn ravioli. The service was excellent. The Polish girl who served us was friendly and always smiling which makes a big difference. She made us feel happy!

Popped in for a lunch, great value for money! Excellent view sitting by the window, Very very pretty venue! Keep up the geed work!

Only went because we had a free bottle of Prosecco voucher , got what I expected. Ordered the crab ravioli which was bland and such a tiny portion it should have been classed as a starter. Won’t be returning, there is a much nicer family run Italian opposite side of the road.

On Wednesday evening during Eastbourne tennis week we arrived at 8:30 without a reservation. The restaurant however looked to be half empty so no problem we thought. Wrong! The greeter told us it was fully booked up for the rest of the evening even when we pointed out the place was half empty. We had just left centre court so unless pretty well all the remaining people there had Prezzo reservations this was clearly a barefaced lie. If they told us they had staff shortages due to Covid or whatever then fine, but seriously you could at least come up with something plausible!?

Had a pleasnat unhurried meal with excellent service and good food for for my daughters birthday but a problem on receipt of bill as will not accept cash payment. Were told that we should have been told on entry but we were not nor do we recall seeing any notice on entry or on the menu. Prezzo may have the option to insist on card only but we have the option of going elesewhere but should be told so that we are able to make an informed decision. Paid cash and left leaving staff arguing amongst themselves over who was responsible for the mistake. All a bit silly really spoiling an otherwise pleasant evening. Just checked website and no obvious sign that money is not accepted. If Prezzo wish to refuse customers then they should make this clear before preparing the bill.

as far as 'chain' places go this is above the curve. ate twice her in 6 days on business so shows how good it is. staff very welcoming. few things could improve. food served on cold plates, but poor that as bread soon goes cold on cold plates. would recommend

This is a chain which serves identical food (of very good quality) in every outlet. The difference is down to the staff and service. This branch has exceptionally friendly and efficient staff so that makes the whole experience so much better.

I visited the restaurant on Tuesday evening 18th February 2020 and was delighted with the service I received from Maya.Nothing was too much trouble and made me and my family feel really welcome. Food was delivered fast and nice a hot and delicious As always and will be definitely be coming back for another visit soon.

Last night we had a great time at Prezzo in Eastbourne, service and food was excellent! Staff was very friendly, courteous and attentive. We felt very well looked after, definitely recommended for a dinner out in town.

Mediocre food served by uninterested staff. Overpriced microwave type food served in a characterless shop window. Not impressed.

Good food - tasty gluten free pasta Dish and lots of other gluten free choices on menu too. Good choices for vegans too. Mocktail was delicious! A bit more warmth from the waitress and it would be excellent. However all food was delivered well and no mistakes made. Worth a visit and so close to the station.

I’ve been here many times and staff are always very friendly and welcoming.The restaurant itself is quite big compared to other Prezzo’s so you can nearly always get a table even without booking. It has a nice ambience inside - nice lighting/seating etc. The food is consistently good. I have given 4 stars instead of 5 because it’s a chain and there are more authentic/homemade Italian restaurants which would be my 5 stars. The meatballs are not very good quality - they are very processed. The sauces are yummy but again not homemade like you’d get in a one off Italian place.Prezzo accept Tesco coupons which makes it great value for money and often send 40% off main meals if you sign up to the emails. It’s also in a very handy location if you’re going to the Beacon cinema.

Been there many times and never had a bad experience! Staff always very kind and helpful. Highly recommended for pasta and pizza lovers !

Went to Prezzo in Eastbourne tonight for a catch up with friends. Although it looked nice the food was very disappointing all the vegetables were far too hard and as it was cold couldn’t decide if it had actually been cooked. And as for the pudding (chocolate brownie) I always thought that it should be warm and squishy unfortunately it was cold and chewy Food not up to much would not recommend to anyone

Our Son was running the Beachyhead Marathon on the Saturday so we visited here for pasta. Arrived at 9.30pm without a reservation. Staff were welcoming and found us a seat very quickly. Didn't rush us. We liked the Penne Salmon, seabass with fries. The spaghetti Meatball Al Forn was, in my opinion, too baked and made the dish very dry.

Currently sat inside with my partner and son. All 3 meals are very poor. Very bland and no flavour in three different dishes.

Comenzó con picaduras de pizza y hummus seguido de espagueti a la carbonara y espagueti a la boloñesa, porciones enormes y gran sabor. El desierto era tarta de queso y helado, ambos deliciosos. El servicio fue excelente en todo momento.

Recientemente hemos comenzado a usar Prezzo como nuestro 'ir a' para comidas familiares en ocasiones especiales. Encontramos el menú bueno con opciones que atraen a todos, buen servicio y un entorno agradable. Mejor aún que los cupones de descuento están disponibles en t'internet: ¡el 30% de descuento en todos los alimentos, por ejemplo, hace que este sea un excelente lugar para comer a un excelente precio!

Prezzo in Eastbourne. Hmmm. A black nose hair underneath the last bit of cress on my starter plate. Luckily it stuck to the plate. I didn't want to spoil things for my wife so I kept quiet, I'm ex military and ex police so I've had all sorts of crap touch me without making me cry. My own nose hairs are white by the way, I'm an old fart, so it wasn't one of mine. Then our mains arrived, and I realised I'd been served salmon fillet rather than the sea bass I'd ordered. Our server was busy with a large table down the way and not contactable, and I was starving, so I tucked in. It was nice but it wasn't what I ordered. I tried to draw it out so I still had evidence of it being wrong which meant a lot of my veg ended up cold by the time I was able to let the server know what had happened. My wife then found 2 bits of hard plasticky stuff in her mouth, from out of her ravioli. At this point we decided not to bother with dessert as we'd got away with it all so far and weren't willing to test the place any further in case there was a steaming piece of turd involved in the next course. So we requested our bill. At this point 2 of the 3 people on the table next to us sent back their meals, which were also salmon like mine, declaring them to be stone cold. We paid and scarpered. It's been 4years since we were regulars here, which we realised when we started eating here again recently. But only because we have 2 for 1 Meerkat discount every Wednesday. But there's a limit to what we're prepared to put up with, so it will probably be another 4yrs before we go back, especially as there's a Zizzi round the corner on the same deal, and a brand new Italian independent opened dead opposite last month. Arriverderci Prezzo!

Visited Prezzo this evening with a friend for dinner and I have never received such amazing service. I was served by a young lady called Demi who was so chatty and friendly and made my experience dining here throughly enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious and came out quickly considering how busy the restaurant was. I would highly recommend.

Numerous visits to this prezzo and they always get the food wrong. The Basil pesto pasta dish has no pesto on it, they have always run out of something, have no carbonara today or no peppers!! They always make the pizza differently, no consistency. The manageress doesn’t care when you complain, simply shrugs her shoulders and blames the chef. I don’t think she could understand me. The restaurant Is always empty but they still can’t give good service. I got my bill before I even got my food. Wasn’t offered a desert menu or any other drinks. I tried to get hold of head office but was told there is no email for them. Sorry Prezzo but you have permanently lost customers.

Came for lunch with my wife and daughter for nice lunch, restaurant was quite but unfortunately waiter couldn't understand out order. He was coming back 3 times to confirm and mess up order at the end anyway. When my wife said that food he brought was wrong he became rude and aggressive.

My friend & I have eaten here a few times before but last night were very disappointed. We hope that it was just a one off but have decided based on the experience to go elsewhere next time. When we arrived the waitress came across as moody. My starter was burnt, my friend's was cold. Her main was also skimping on meat within the dish.I ordered a side of broccoli & cauliflower & was told they had ran out of cauliflower but could do broccoli. I agreed thinking I would get extra broccoli to cover the absence of cauliflower but just got minimal broccoli (but still charged the same). Plenty of staff on and not many customers yet huge wait for food, & huge wait for desert order. I noticed as staff were hanging around bar area other customers ended up going up to bar to pay. When we paid my friend paid with cash and the waitress said they didn't have the coinage to give her her change so in effect she paid extra. It wasn't much but it just makes Prezzo look really unprofessional that they will take the money & then say they can't give the change. So disappointed in the evening.

I ordered the Calabrese burger which was beautifully cooked, with plenty of red onion, tomato and lettuce - it was superb. It came with a spicy sauce in a ramekin allowing me to choose exactly how much I wanted to add to the burger, and also for dipping with fries that came with it. However, the fries were poor - they're exactly like those you get in McDonald's!

We recently visited the Eastbourne Prezzo with friends who were not familiar with the restaurant. Sandra made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in, and the service throughout was great. The food was also excellent, and the atmosphere was lively but not overpowering. Our friends loved the experience, and we'll all be back again in the not too distant future.

We had a fabulous Father's day lunch in Eastbourne one. Food was great and the staff were very friendly. We certainly will go there again. I am a seafood lover. It's easy for me to find seafood dishes here and there are so many choices! And children and husband can choose pizza what they want. Absolutely doulbe thumbs up!

My family have been regulars at the Eastbourne branch of Prezzo where the food is always good, everywhere is clean and the staff friendly. They always went out of their way to help when we take family members in a wheelchair. We visited in April for my birthday and the staff brought out a cake that mum had provided after the main course so they are happy to accommodate you. They have something for everyone on the menu and everyone cleared their plates. Highly recommended.

After years of visiting the East Grinstead branch and having perfection every time, we thought after moving to Eastbourne we would struggle to get the same high standards. However we have visited 4 times now and every Time has been perfect. I have the posh pepperoni every time and it is honestly the best pizza you can get anywhere, it’s always consistently brilliant at Prezzo. Would recommend this Prezzo, nice big restaurant, great food up to Prezzo standards and friendly staff.

Had an absolutely lovely meal here. 3 courses on fixed price buyagift menu. Limited choice, but something for everyone. Hummus starter was lovely. Carbonara portion was huge! Tiramisu was tasty. Wine was a good house. Kings our waitress did an excellent job. Professional, fast, friendly-a real asset to the team

Hongerig na een fietstocht via Birling Gap en Beachy Head waren we op zoek naar een lunch. En die vonden we hier. King prawns in een lich pittige chili tomaten saus gevolgd door een pizza Margarita. Met een medium glas wijn (of een fris drank) voor 16.95£ een goed vullend maal aan een eerlijke prijs en met een zeer vriendelijk en snelle bediening. Hier zouden we wel meer komen mochten we in de buurt zijn.

My partner and I came in on the evening of 25th May 2019. It was busy and we hadn’t booked, but they still managed to fit us in. Staff were friendly, service was quick and the food was delicious. We will be back!

Visited as part of a birthday meal of 14. The staff did a great job of making sure our food all came out at the sane time. Everything was hot and fresh. The carbonara was divine. The breaded mozzarella was tasty and came with lots of sauce. Clean restaurant.

Sunday afternoon treat with my daughter who is coeliac, Prezzo has a great gluten free menu, especially for my daughter who is 10. Always like prezzo and the staff were very good too.

Fuimos a una noche de la fecha en un sábado. Primera visita para mi pareja y nos quedamos muy impresionados. La comida era sorprendentemente encantadora para una cadena. Tuvimos una encantadora y sonriente camarera trabajadora llamada Kinga. Era un crédito para el restaurante, muy servicial y feliz, y considerando que era una noche de sábado muy concurrida, ¡no podría haber hecho más! ! Servicio de 5 estrellas de ella. Definitivamente regresaría.

Este lugar suele estar vacío por una buena razón, la comida es promedio o mala, ¡pero fuimos por un cupón de registro que nos dio una botella gratis de Prosecco! Mi compañero tenía la hamburguesa que estaba bien / ok. Tuve una pasta y ensalada. La pasta estaba hecha, lo que para un restaurante italiano es realmente evitable. La ensalada obviamente fue preparada hace aproximadamente 4 días y en realidad no era comestible. La última salvación fue el postre, una tarta de chocolate y caramelo que en realidad era buena. Sólo ve por el Prosecco gratis!

Se utilizó una comida de tres platos Buy A Gift y una copa de vino por dos cupones. Aunque la comida era muy buena, solo se puede elegir entre un menú "Comprar un regalo" muy limitado, que consta de unos tres entrantes, media docena de platos principales y tres postres. No recomendaría elegir hacer esta opción, a pesar de que parece ser una buena relación, ¡pero fue un regalo, así que no puedo quejarme demasiado! El restaurante es muy agradable y el personal muy amable, sin duda volveremos para una comida del menú principal.

Having recently moved to Eastbourne from an area which had a very good Prezzo we were doubtful we would find our new local as good. However, it is as good. The service, staff and food is all brilliant. I love the new choice of beers and the posh pepperoni is STILL the best pizza I can buy anywhere. Very happy Prezzo are focusing on their consistency, we will be back for sure.

I had a very nice, peaceful meal here. I’ve never dined alone before and I’ll be doing it again as it gives you a chance to really enjoy your food without listening to or chatting to anyone!

Been there a few times because my children likes it but the sound is just terrible in there. The staff are not very service minded at all. Plus most people that goes there seems to have a competition whom can sound most when they laugh, it's good to have fun but it is way to hysterical!

Friendly staff, nice restaurant but...25 min wait for starter and 1 hour 20 min wait for main. Complained and they just shrugged no reduction in bill and no recognition of an extremely frustrated 12 year old - don’t bother if a family treat.
