Picasso's Restaurant in Eastbourne

A great little spot, little booths available for privacy. Music not too loud do you can have a conversation. Smaller meal portions available which was s godsend for me. The lasagna piping hot and delicious. The salad plentiful and tasty. The lemon sorbet was fab too. Well done Picasso's. 5 stars 🌟

Our servers seb and aida were wonderful, so attentive and polite and the food was 10/10 def recommend !!

We been couple times restaurant today we came again order food and drinks and waiter seat down in bar play with and he didn’t serve us basically service very bad we call stop playing with focus customer

I work from home and my partner was off work, having had a heavy weekend we wanted something delivered, didn't want to face the world. We stumbled across this on Just Eat, Picasso's. I have to say the pizzas were so so SO good, very authentic. Garlic Bread with mozzarella was to die for as was the Bruschetta. Will definitely be paying the restaurant a visit.

Absolutely fantastic hidden gem. We are down for the Airshow and always like to go out for a nice meal on the Sunday evening. I found this restaurant on a goggle search and booked a table straight away after seeing the menu and reading the other reviews. It didn't disappoint, fantastic food and great service.

My partner and I went and had a meal here this evening , the food was incredible and the waitress was so nice and couldn't do more for us. She also heard me say it was my boyfriends birthday and he could have whatever he wanted and so she put a candle in his cheesecake! So sweet of her 💕 we had a lovely time and we couldn't recommend this restaurant enough!! We definitely will be going back in the near future 😊

Excellent pizzas, ice cream and service. Thin, authentic pizzas and homemade ice cream which was excellent. Garlic bread with cheese was rated excellent by my friend who ate it.

Easy going laid back restaurant with a wide choice. Wasn't the best Italian in the world, but it done the job. Bruschetta was good, pizza okay and pasta average. Not bad if your out with friends having a few drinks, but I wouldn't recommend this place if you wanted real tasty and authentic Italian food.

Nice place and good service. The dining area is arranged well and the staff serve politely and some parts you can watch the chefs cook. Lunch time will get you served quick and it’s cheaper. Pizza and pastas are on the menu.

Beautiful venue, absolutely lovely staff- all super attentive and friendly. The food was incredible!! Cannot fault and would recommend to anyone. Came for a meal for two to celebrate my birthday with my best friend and we definitely made the right choice coming here!

Loved everything about Picasso. The food was incredible, had everything from the garlic breads, to the pizzas (so good), pastas, and dessert - the honeycomb cheesecake is a must try. Loved the vibe, the service and the staff. 100% will be back next time we’re in town.

Had a pretty decent spaghetti carbonara.

Unfortunately, our recent visit to this restaurant in Eastbourne was disappointing due to the food quality. We ordered a Margherita pizza and bruschetta, both of which fell short of our expectations. The cheese on the pizza had an unpleasant smell that not only affected the taste but also caused stomach discomfort and acidity afterward. Additionally, the pizza was excessively oily and greasy, with a chewy crust that made it hard to enjoy. The bruschetta was slightly better than the pizza but still not up to standard. Despite these issues, the staff at the restaurant were courteous and attentive, which was a small consolation in an otherwise unsatisfactory dining experience. Overall, while the service was good, the poor quality of the food means we are unlikely to return.

Very disappointing…out of a group of seven for family birthday meal….one starter of cheesey garlic bread came without out any cheese…one stake over cooked…two Lamb steaks under cooked one dinner was a no show!I salad was asked for no dressing luckily no allergy as it came with a dressingTwo cokes were flat…some staff need retraining in customer service…all we were offered was the drinks taken off the bill…Sadly last time we use Picasso …

We had a delicious plate of pasta here before the theatre. They are super quick with the service if you're on schedule. Great service and great food.

This is an absolute gem, we had a table booked for lunch when we met friends on 4th April and from outside I did wonder what we should expect as its quite small and unassuming but once inside the staff were excellent, the atmosphere was great and the food was fabulous. Prices were excellent and I cant wait to go again to try something else. Loved everything about this restaurant

Great little find. Lovely atmosphere and staff friendly and attentive. Wasn't that impressed by the brushetta if I'm honest; I've had better. Just a slice of ciabatta with tomatoes and olives chucked on. Ot was tasty but that's it. The main courses were better. I would go back but try a different starter.

I attended the restaurant for a family meal to celebrate a 21st birthday. The restaurant is a hidden gem. Small, but was set out in a way that was not cramped or crowded. Service was attentive and welcoming. A decent varied menu. The food was great, especially the pizzas. Popular so you may need to book ahead.

Food freezing when arrived, food arrived 40 minutes later than original time given. Items missing from order. Called restaurant and told they could not do anything to help and to contact just eat- £40 order - very unhappy

Tucked in one of the backstreets out of sight of the average tourist. Definitely worth having a look at and the prices are very keen

For the second time, when ordering from this restaurant, the drinks were left out. I ordered two Cokes. When I called the restaurant, I was told there was nothing they could do about it, because they don't have a driver. I like their food but won't order again, because they don't check their orders before sending them out with Just Eat. This was a £29 order. 0 rating for efficiency.

Absolutely the best food ever!!

I was eating my tomato bruschetta and came across me biting into some plastic and it got stuck in my tooth. I’m very upset about this as i always order from here and i’m very disappointed

My wife and I have just got back from a three night stay in Eastbourne. Whenever we are in Eastbourne, which is usually 2 - 3 times a year, we always visit Picassos, put simply it is the best Italian that we have ever eaten in. We ate there every day of our stay and had various dishes including pizza, pasta, rissoto and the salad. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I have been visiting the restaurant for many years and hope to continue to do so for many more to come. Well done to the team.

To actually dine in can't fault it

A lovely Italian restaurant. The place is large and was mainly empty when we went. We ordered pizza, steak, and seafood risotto as well as drinks. The good came out promptly and was OK. The pizza was good as a former new yorker this pizza was very close to a NYC slice. The risotto was a great large portion but I though it was a bit to heavy and could not finish it. My friends 12oz steak was perfectly medium rare and lovely. All in all I might come back but would try some more dishes. This is a great place to catch up with friends or a party. Having my service dog the servers were really kind and very inclusive.

Really cannot fault anything, staff very attentive, food perfect. My only criticism.... please can we have some different sweets with the bill, it's always chocolate eclairs & has been for many many years...!!!!!

Great little find, excellent service, delicious food, great buzzy atmosphere. We had salad, pizza and mushrooms, all prepared quickly and were all really tasty with a takeaway box for the pizza we couldn’t finish. Brilliant value for money. Highly recommend.

Ordered online through just eat, waited for over 2 hours and then it arrived stone cold and when phoned the restaurant they didn’t give a F*** and said it wasn’t there problem terrible place and terrible customer service, instead of leaving the food on the side waiting for a driver, they should of cooked the food when the driver was on his way that way it would of been nice and hot. Would avoid if they carry on doing this

Absolutely delicious food. I ordered the steak and chips which was piping hot when it arrived. Service was speedy and smooth which I was very happy with as I was hungry. Would recommend. Five star.

The food had spilt everywhere garlic bread at the bottom two other containers spilt everywhere uneatable all thrown away rang the restaurant couldn’t care less have requested a refund wish I could post the pictures

English version of Italian food having lived in Italy for a few years and visit frequently. Very disappointed.miserable staff never smile at all no interest at all..Spaghetti was not carbonara but spaghetti with cream. Usually go to another Italian restaurant in Eastbourne which is wonderful but was fully booked .

The carbonara was delicious it was lovely and hot when arrived would highly recommend Picasso have enjoyed everything that I have eaten from here

Update sept 2023: we used to go here often see review below, alas on arrival the other day, very rude reception from the staff, not acceptable, won't be going here again. Original review: Superb vegan pizzas and salad. Decent icy cold draft beer and pleasant atmosphere. Friendly attentive staff. What’s more to like. Highly recommended. Thanks for making our visit special.

I came for a lovely meal here back in July and have only just got round to writing a review, a beautiful restaurant with yummy food and lots to offer. waitresses were great too.

Pizza is an hour late and stone cold!!

The food is honestly really good, I wasn't super thrilled about trying it, but I'm so glad I did. Good sized portions as well. If you order a meal, it's a good size for 1 person. It's not like others that give you tons and tons when all you want is 1 meal. This place is fantastic.

1 hour 20 minutes late - no couriers! New driver asking for the 8 digit order number and carrying pizzas vertically- pizzas not in good condition- app says restaurant won’t prepare your order until driver assigned but stone cold as well - emailed just eat no response at all - total debacle all of Just Eats making- normally this restaurant is super quick and great quality but not this time round
