The best restaurants serving Italian food in Canterbury South East

Visited Big Boys pizza few days ago. And I couldn’t recommend them enough. Passat and Pizza were fresh and delicious

Lyn catered for our evening event for our Wedding 15th June 2024 with an amazing and delicious BBQ. The food was cooked fresh with various sides including coleslaw couscous, green salad and potato salad, to name just some - and all of our guests said how delicious everything was. Lyn is such a lovely friendly lady and couldn’t do enough to make sure our evening was a success. Definitely recommend and 5⭐ from us. Wendy and Rich xXx

We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at Basil and Co Ristorante Italiano in Tankerton, and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was prepared to perfection and full of authentic Italian flavours. The wine selection was incredible, complementing the meal beautifully. What truly stood out, though, was the outstanding service. The staff were attentive, warm, and made us feel so welcome. It was a perfect evening, and we’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend Basil and Co for anyone looking for a special dining experience!

Absolutely gorgeous food, very helpful staff, definitely the best Italian restaurant in Whitstable! Highly recommend the pork belly, incredibly tasty and melts in your mouth.

I'm gonna write a review on their pasta and chicken wings not their pizza. The chicken wings were actually quite good and I think we got six wings for five . The restaurant was full. Service was good tables were nice. They're outside. The pizza looked very good so we had a Alfredo with shrimp which was good shrimp or nice. There were probably four or five of them in there and then we had a lasagna which was horrible and just microwaved, minced meat with pasta and carrots I would skip that. 15% tip is included with all orders. I don't think it says that on the menu.

Izzy and Kate, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure that our visit was memorable. They were so lovely, helpful, and wonderful, making sure that every aspect of our meal was perfect. Their genuine smiles and attentive service and knowledge of the menu added a personal touch that is hard to find. The food was simply fantastic! The pizzas were cooked to perfection, with a deliciously crispy crust and a perfect balance of toppings. But what truly stood out was the ice cream that Izzy made. It was absolutely divine, and with some added personal flair. Overall, Chapters Pizzeria offers a fantastic dining experience. The quality of the food, combined with the outstanding service from Izzy and Kate, makes it a must-visit spot in Canterbury. We found Posillipo on TikTok and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. Definitely recommend if you are in Canterbury for dinner. We had our 5 month old with us and they were very accommodating. There’s enough space for a pram if you have one. Great all round! Xx
