Very nice staff and good service! The food was good too, at least what you‘d expect when ordering Italian food. Lovely atmosphere too!

Been before and yet again it did not dissaoint love the food and relaxed atmosphere. Service was excellent too.

While the food was delicious the experience was ruined by witnessing the owner and staff arguing aloud in the restaurant.

When I was there to eat and treat myself to a juicy pizza, I noticed that it was a bit salty. Furthermore, the atmosphere was like a club, but at the end of the day everyone has to have made up their own mind. Despite that, thank you for this experience, otherwise you need to know

After I ate at this absolutely weird restaurant, I seriously thought I‘m about to through up. It‘s really just not right to make the food this bad. 1 Star from side

The food was not good and quite expensive

You had to season the food yourself. My noodles were bathed in oil for £15 (€17.51). Never again

Standard food and service, nothing to complain about. But the interior is so dated and with cheap green lighting. A throwback to the 90s.

The best calamari in Canterbury! I really enjoyed my dinner here, there is something homely, down-to-earth, and very welcoming about this place. Places like this are hard to find nowadays. Thank you for a lovely experience. I will be returning.

Quite possibly the worst restaurant in Canterbury. Unbelievably poor hygiene, rude, staff outside chain smoking and sitting on the dirty floor in their uniforms. Could get better from a tesco ready meal

These used the right amount of garlic (which is a lot) and it was all delicious. Prawns and arabiatta were so tasty

1) The food was good. 2) The customer service was good. However, the portions are too small. I was so hungry after the sandwich. Subway is better.

I am a big fan of Italian food, and I was not disappointed, intact I was extremely pleased with my meal. There was about a 30 minute wait while the food was cooked fresh. I did not find this a problem. The quality of the food was worth it. I will certainly be going there again. The prices of the meal were very good as well.

We really enjoyed the food, was quick, hot and tasty. However was disappointed to see the manager and both chefs go for a cigarette at the front of the property in full view of everyone.

First time visiting the restaurant and it definitely exceeded my expectations! Everything was amazing from food to the service! No complaints whatsoever. Will definitely come back again.

My partner and I had lunch here today on the recommendation of a friend and were both very happy with the experience. Attentive staff, lovely family-friendly atmosphere and very good food. We will definitely be returning. Also, happy to be supporting local/family businesses. Highly recommend.

On walking past looked the right place to eat given the vibe for a uni visit. Warm welcome and very pleasant reception. However that soon went south… served very quickly with a drink but waited nearly 45 minutes with what was a basic stater shared platter and bruschetta. Which I must add was very nice. However the mains we waited yet again best part half an hour to come out after the starters, (wasn’t busy at all 8 people in restaurant including our table of 3) mains came chicken dish my wife had was over cooked and my sea bass was too. Didn’t really give an Italian vibe. Personally I think Wetherspoons be able knock out same food for a quarter the price. Shame really as on waking past this restaurant really does have potential

We thoroughly enjoyed a late lunch sitting outside the restaurant. We had the mixed meze sharing platter for a starter that we thought was very good value for different Italian salamis, hams, cheese, olives, tomatoes and garlic bread. The topping on the Capricciosa pizza was very generous and tasty and the special of pork tenderloin on a bed of asparagus with mixed fruit was unusual and delicious.

Don’t bother. The manager was rude and the food was dry, tasteless and overpriced. A shame really. Won’t be going back ever.

The starters (calamari and tomato bruschetta) were delicious, the mains (penne ragù, and the steak salad special) were among the best we’ve ever tasted, and my son had the tiramisu and his eyes literally rolled back when he tasted it. Will definitely be back.

It was delicious, my exceptionally fussy son asked if I could get him the same again to go! And to be honest if it wasn’t so close to closing time I may well have done just that! Will definitely visit again there is plenty more we want to try on the menu. My sons steak was ‘ the best I’ve ever tasted’ and his eyes rolled backwards when he tasted the tiramisu! Can’t praise it highly enough.

Had a couple of pizzas— very cheesy and generous with toppings. Very friendly staff even though just before closing. Canterbury really needs local family businesses or else the high street will end up just being chains. Definitely worth a visit.

Decided to try this small family run business and we’re not disappointed. The bruschetta starter was delicious as was my pasta dish. My husband’s bolognaise was equally good. Awaiting their licence for alcohol but you can take your own. Reasonably priced. Will definitely return

This place is not nice, dusty everywhere and waste of money to eat here.

Had a work do here with my co-workers and the food had a bit of a kick to it. I ordered the Penne Bolognese and something was off with it. Checked the food hygiene rating and it was a 2!!

Rubbish. It was so bad I can’t have Italian food ever again. Waste of money and calories.

Had a solo lunch here today and can't speak highly enough of the quality of food & service. I had bruschetta which was mouthwatering & chicken ballotine on ravioli which was melt in the mouth good. Decor was also outstanding with a restaurant finally understanding about comfy chairs - no idea why so many skimp on this, but the seats were so comfy! Definitely going back.

I’ve been to Italy and this pizza is the best I’ve had outside of there.

Definitely would not recommend this restaurant. The food was very bland an Italian microwave dinner is better. It was also lacking in customer service, very hostile. The decor is also very tacky does not go with an Italian vibe at all. The noodle place that was here before was much nicer, its a shame it closed and this is the replacement.

Nice place, a great Italian restaurant in Canterbury. Few dishes, but they are well done. Great staff.

Ate here as we really fancied Italian food and my husband found a NAIL in his meal. We wanted to be sick! Once we raised this to staff they called us liars and refused to replace the meal or take it off of the bill. The entire restaurant felt unhygienic and the food is far from authentic. Save the trip and ur money and go somewhere else, vapiano is a safe choice! I’m convinced these 5* reviews are fake!

Please save your money, the food was so bad and on top of that it’s an unhygienic place, I had food poisoning for ages after eating here and so did my partner. I don’t often write reviews but this place needs to be shut down.

Dined in, had pizza you can tell this place is not run by real Italians as the pizza came out all soggy. Customer service is just 0 would not recommend this place to anyone. Be prepared to be disappointed.

Great new restaurant. Italian food is very delicious- we've tried pizza capriciosa, stuffed chicken and ravioli- everything was top! Atmosphere and service is superb as well!

Just eaten here, great service and great food. We had a sharing platter and pasta, pizzas looked yummy too.

This is a new place providing Italian styled food, pasta and pizza, so a lot of competition from some of the “chain” restaurants in the high street. This is small, friendly and family run. The food was delicious and definitely worth visiting rather than other places in the city centre. You won’t be disappointed and will be supporting a new family business.

We were recently recommended this restaurant and are so glad we tried it! The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. The bruschetta, carbonara, chilli prawn spaghetti and the chicken ballotine were particular highlights. A wonderful addition to Canterbury's restaurant scene and we will be rushing back!

Friendly staff and boss Mirabella, particularly the chef cooked delicious fish Sea-bass according to my taste, I am very grateful, definitely my husband and I will come back for glass of wine . We pray for their prosperous future and settle down in Canterbury soon
