Fantastic evening! Food, service, quality, everything! We were a table 10 friends and had the best evening. Exceptional in every way ! This will always be our favourite restaurant no matter where we go in the world. Highly recommend the prawn and chorizo risotto !

Cute little place in the centre of marlow. Service was definitely lacking. We had 3 sandwiches, they were ok, 2 small glasses of wine and 2 coffees and it came to £65. I guess that’s just marlow prices but the service and mediocre food left us feeling underwhelmed.

Decided to try Caffe Gondola on the recommendation of friends. Nice place, good service, but the food didn’t live up to the ratings. I had a below average lasagna with too much sauce, very little mince and little flavour or character. It did not seem freshly made, but heated up in a microwave and put in the oven just long enough to melt the cheese. It came out too fast to have been cooked “al forno”. It certainly did not meet my expectations. My kid had pizza and wasn’t impressed. He described it as “OK”.

My husband booked this restaurant as we were going to be in Shanklin for our 45th anniversary. A revisit after two years. The nice table he asked for was by the kitchen right at the back so all I could see was the washing up the whole time. Food was ok but nothing special. Odd water glasses. They could have even offered a free limoncello but they were concentrating on a table of 10 and I think we suffered. My chair was constantly being knocked as the waiting staff walked by. We were in and out in about an hour. Not how we wished to spend our evening. We definitely won’t be returning even though there is little choice if you are staying nearby.

What a delight it is to have gone to Nino's again : the specials board was as delightful as the inter-mingling the sweets menu - The ambience, the staff, the cuisine and Nino. We are just so lucky to have all 3 parts of Nino's in Pangbourne (along with a couple of other outstanding restautants and deli's)

It was a toss-up whether we went here or to the Italian restaurant next door. In the end we chose this one. It's fairly pleasant inside and, even though it was a Monday evening, it was rather busy. The food was OK. My wife enjoyed her Arancini and Caciucco di pesce which is a fish based stew. Unusually, when the waiter served the dish I could swear that he said "Here's your Bouillabaisse", which is, of course, a French stew that is very similar. I had the Bistecca al Pepe Verde which was OK. It didn't look anything as nice as the picture on the menu. As I say, it was fine but a bit thin and fatty and the pepper sauce was a bit heavy and thick. We had a bottle of wine called Taurasi Santandrea D.O.C.G. Vinosia Campania which was quite expensive for what it is. It was fine but I've had better for less than the £60 that this cost (plus service charge, of course). At one stage the waiter walked past and scooped up my wife's Prosecco glass. She is adamant that it was still at least one quarter full. I called the waiter back but he insisted the glass was empty when he took it away. My wife tells me that she had only looked at the glass within one minute of it disappearing and it was definitely a quarter full. All in all, it was an interesting meal. Nothing special but it did cost me well over £200. Time to try the place next door now, I think.

0**Review of Rossi's Italian Restaurant in Eastbourne:** Rossi's is a small, charming Italian restaurant in Eastbourne that truly captures the warmth and authenticity of Italy. The atmosphere is cosy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal. The service is attentive, with staff who make you feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout your visit. The highlight of the menu is undoubtedly the mixed fried fish, which is simply delicious. Crispy, fresh, and perfectly seasoned, it is a dish that stands out and is highly recommended. Whether you’re looking for a casual dinner or a special night out, Rossi's delivers a delightful dining experience that is well worth a visit.

The food is authentic, home-made Italian and absolutely delicious. We had mains and dessert. The mains were generous and did not need any side extras to fill us up. The dessert that we had - Tartufo Scuro was amazing! The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The restaurant gets busy so booking is advised. The staff all work extremely hard and are very efficient - we were very impressed.
