The best restaurants serving Italian food in North West

Lovely evening, very friendly staff and a great atmosphere- not overcrowded. The food was delicious. Would recommend and would go again!

Very quiet on a Thursday at 7.30pm, only 2 other tables ( of 4 and 2 people). The food was very fresh and hot, friendly female owner. Very good value for money on the Groupon voucher for a three course meal. My only negative was that on my calabrese pizza there was excessive diced onion which was only just cooked and we weren't offered parmazan for our starters or pasta.

Food and service were both excellent. The decor is lovely and certainly fits in with the theme of the menu. The Prawn Saganaki is highly recommended. Will definitely be back

Sotto es uno de los favoritos de nuestra familia. Buena comida, personal amable y muy buena relación calidad-precio. Nunca hemos tenido una mala comida aquí y sin duda lo recomendaría para una comida.

Venue not as good as previous location. View over golf course wasn't very impressive.

Absolutely beautiful food, amazing staff, lovely restaurant

Staff were very polite and friendly. Homemade chips, really were homemade and tasty. Pizzas were very good value for money and I would recommend Girasole. Good to support local trader too.

Fantastic food which is well presented and plentiful. Husband and Son has the Mixed Grill which was huge but they both said it was tasty. The staff are attentive and very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend eating here.

Unfortunately this restaurant is way too expensive, food ok, but had better. Waitresses pleasant but one not quite understanding English. Won't be visiting again.

I have been to Scrando's many times and it never fails. Whether you are on a pub crawl or a family looking for a place to eat that will actually accommodate kids (rare in Hoylake) then this place is a real gem. The menu is tailored to be American Fast Food but there are often specials in addition to the main menu, likewise there are often themed days that kids love added into the mix (see facebook). For those on a budget they often do deals and on this particular day when I went, my youngest ate for a quid which included a burger, fries and a fruit shoot. Likewise, we had the four beers for £12 deal which in the summer is brilliant value. It's one of the best eateries in Hoylake. Granted many will go to pubs or restaurants if they are going out with friends but for those that want a quick bite or looking for a place that actually wants kids there, this place is not to be missed.

We try to visit often as we really love this place. the food, service and value are great. Highly recommended!

Nice restaurant. Been here several times before but first with our son and his girlfriend Food always good, although unfortunately on this particular occasion they had run out of a few things we wanted. Sophie always pleasant and helpful Sometimes it’s just a little too quiet, we sometimes find ourselves talking in a whisper. Maybe a little background music But all that said we will be going back
