Very quiet on a Thursday at 7.30pm, only 2 other tables ( of 4 and 2 people). The food was very fresh and hot, friendly female owner. Very good value for money on the Groupon voucher for a three course meal. My only negative was that on my calabrese pizza there was excessive diced onion which was only just cooked and we weren't offered parmazan for our starters or pasta.

So, I booked this restaurant because it was mid way between myself and my friend because it was her birthday. Also, because it came up on my Tastecard as being able to have 25% off midweek. I booked a table for 18.30 on a Tuesday. I was early but went in to see if I could put my stuff on the table and come back. On arrival there was a young lad lounging on the sofa and the restaurant was fairly poorly lit. In fact I wasn't even sure it was open. I asked if we were able to come a little earlier as the traffic wasn't as bad as we thought and they said yes. We sat down at a table. The service was slow to say there was only another couple who were in there. The Tastecard menu was given to us, eventually and we were told what we could order. No cider served even though it was on the menu. We just ordered two diet cokes that came in cloudy pint glasses. The waiter was okay but there was no real customer service from him, just the perfunctory usual words. We ordered garlic bread 1/2 and 1/2 to share. I ordered spicy king prawns and spaghetti polpetti. My friend ordered garlic mushrooms and chicken in mushroom sauce. Whilst we were waiting the other couple in there were complaining that the food was tasteless and microwaved. I just thought they were being rude as they were quite obnoxious being loud on a call. However, when the food came, it didn't seem fresh. In fact the only thing that looked fresh was the salad that my friend ordered. When the waiter came over to ask if everything was okay we just said 'yeah' as we weren't the complaining type. I would have actually paid for it. It was just edible but thats it. The meatballs were obviously not fresh. Everything looked just very bland and poorly presented. No parmesan offered either. It all felt a little awkward in there. The real issue is when we came to pay. I went and showed my Tastecard voucher and she practically shouted at me that they don't accept Tastecard. I said I booked it online and I received confirmation but she shouted "Tastecard no, Groupon yes!" at me. After some to-ing and fro-ing and me arguing that I'd booked it and it had been accepted by the restaurant, I said you can either let me pay and deduct 25% off or I will walk out and not pay anything. This other guy came and said the same and then asked us how the food was. My friend said "well it wasn't the best" and then he just said "fine, you walk out and don't pay anything and have a happy birthday". So we did! It wasn't polite on their behalf and I certainly wouldn't recommend there or visit them. Absolutely no atmosphere in there, the lights went off. It was all pretty awkward in there. And since I've been home my friend and I have both had upset stomachs so visit Casa di Tapas at your peril.

NOT A REVIEW, AS WE NEVER EVEN GOT IN THE PLACE. THEY WERE CLOSED! WE HAD A TABLE BOOKED FOR 7.30PM FOR 7 PEOPLE. MY SON WAS THERE EARLY HE RANG ME TO DOUBLE CHECK IT WAS THE SAME PLACE. I RANG THEM TO BE TOLD, THEY HAD TROUBLE WITH THE CHEF SO WERENT OPEN TONIGHT OR TOMORROW!! WHEN I ASKED WHY I HADNT BEEN INFORMED, HE MUMBLED ABOUT NOT HAVING DETAILS FOR EVERYBODY.... RUBBISH. HE GENUINLY DIDNT SEEM BOTHERED AT ALL. WE HAD TO AT 7.30 ON A SATURDAY NIGHT FIND ANOTHER PLACE FOR 7 PEOPLE, LUCKILY WE DID, AND THAT PLACE WAS BRILLIANT. I WILL DISCOURAGE ANYBODY AND EVERYBODY TO THINK TWICE BEFORE THEY CONSIDER VISITING THIS PLACE.

Very disappointed with this order. The chips are all soggy and brown and loook and feel a few days old. The Parmesan is just melted cheese in a tub and the garlic bread is stone cold. I had the lasagne which had so much oil on it the United States of America wanted to go to war with it. I cannot consume this food. Disgusting.

Family celebration for my nephew's graduation. My husband and I shared a delicious cheese garlic bread and scrumptious mushrooms in lemony garlic sauce followed by a delicious spicy pasta dish and a lasagne. The rest of our party had tapas and risotto and pizza and not a single complaint! Our bill for both of us cost £15 each - couldn't quite believe it - cheaper than a takeaway! The waiter was lovely too and made us very welcome. Can't believe it wasn't full - may I suggest to the owners that you play some Italian/Spanish music in the background to improve the overall ambience! Can't recommend this restaurant enough. Fabulous night!

Don't bother delivery never turned up! Ordered via uber eats and after waiting an hour and half and constantly told its on its way I cancelled after nearly 2 hours!

Got told they had no steaks (after we mentioned we had groupon voucher ) restaurant was empty … radio blasting in the background! Chef was to busy chatting up a women at the bar.. told us they didn’t do cocktails? Even tho it advertised 2 for 1 cocktails … it just wasn’t good.. we actually walked out… this place used to be such good food but it’s like they can’t be bothered anymore .. no toilet roll in toilet or paper towels.. I could go on … such a disappointment and a shame as it used to be a really nice restaurant..

We had the tapas menu on a Friday evening. I can not recommend this lovely little place enough. The food was amazing, fresh and incredibly tasty. The service was fast and so friendly. You simply can not argue with the prices. We will definitely be making this a regular place to enjoy some excellent food.

A long overdue meal out with my Sister and her husband to Casa de Tapas. I hadn't known where to choose to celebrate my Sisters upcoming 50th birthday but saw reviews that the food was good and the four of us are fans of Tapas so it seemed a good choice. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious. A great choice on the menu, plenty of food, reasonably priced. The service was great, we had only a short wait before the food started coming. Visited with the family for a post marathon meal. Staff were super attentive with mum (who is 97) and the food was served promptly and was delicious. Excellent value for money at this authentic, family run restaurant. We will be back!

Thank you CASA DEL TAPAS. An early evening 3 course meal for two on a Saturday in May 2023. The Service was immediately personal and on point. Then the food.... Starters where both 10/10 for quality, flavour, size, and freshness. Mains once again 10/10 ..... same again, absolutely fantastic. The aroma from the kitchen where these dishes where created was dreamy. Thank you CASA DEL TAPAS ..... we drove 9 miles to visit you and we will do so again very soon. I cannot praise this restaurant enough..... all the above, and then factor in that the menu is very, very reasonably priced, when based in line with the quality. We visited as a family of 4 and ordered tapas for 3 (15 dishes) and a pizza. The food was hot, fresh, delicious and plentiful. Despite the positive reviews, we were still surprised at the quality of the food as we weren’t expecting it to be so good for the price. The service was perfect, no pestering to see if everything is ok whilst you have your mouth full, yet still attentive and polite. We highly recommend and will definitely go back!
