Bonochi in Stockport

can't fault the service, menu or the food, but it is expensive. 2 starter, 4 mains, 3 puddings and drinks was £17200. For its location its well pricey

Absolutely extortionate prices. Not the same as on the website. Food was delicious but was there an hour and a half and bill was £190.00 . All 4 of us shared garlic bread and all had pasta dishes. £4 for a small diet coke and £7 for a small house wine. Won't be going again I'm afraid.

Food is phenomenal - all freshly prepared and totally delicious at a reasonable price - our Thurs visit and they have never disappointed!! Tiny unassuming little place but absolutely worth a visit

Our first visit, and will NOT be our last! Our friends had been before, and upon their recommendation we gave Bonochi a try. 10/10 for ambiance, food, service and price. Looking forward in introducing our family and friends to Bonochi.

This was, without question, one of the best Italian meals we have had the pleasure to enjoy. We had wanted to try this small, local restaurant for some time, and tonight, we were only left wondering, why on earth we had waited so long. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent. When we arrived, there was a large party leaving, who went out of their way to tell us how wonderful the food was and that they had brought visiting family there especially. We cannot recommend this place highly enough and can’t wait to return.

This is a long overdue review! We have visited Bonochi on many occasions and have always had amazing food with the warmest welcome. We visited as a group of 8 and were looked after from the moment we walked through the door. We usually have an incredibly picky eater with us (in fact two on this occasion) and both loved it. The food is always spectacular, to the point where I can’t choose a favourite dish.

Very impressed by our first visit. Food was really good, pasta sauces were tasty and nice tiramisu. Staff were friendly and the restaurant was bigger than it looks from outside and nicely decorated. Great to have a lovely Italian in walking distance from home. Everyone must give it a try at least once!

Our second visit to this lovely restaurant. The food is all superb and the staff are great - really friendly and pleasant. There's a good atmosphere and it's so nice that tables are well spaced apart so that you don't feel you're part of someone else's conversation. Don't be put off by it's location, it really is very well worth a visit, highly recommended.

Decided to visit as our usual place doesn’t open Sunday, it’s quite new, and you could easily miss it in the little row of shops on the A6 in Great Moor.However, It’s lovely inside and plenty of space between tables. The food was fabulous! We had the pizza garlic bread half mozzarella half tomato sauce to share, which was perfect as a starter, the mains were Penne Salmone, (gorgeous flavours) and Bonochi Special Pasta (very tasty with meatballs, pepperoni, bacon and chicken pieces), will definitely be going again!

This was our 3rd visit to this restaurant, the reason being we couldn’t believe how good it was and wanted to see if it was just luck. I can honestly say that the food and staff were excellent, we will be back again and again with friends and family. A gem in Stockport and we’ll worth a visit.

Another great meal, once I got rid of the red chilli, both anti pasta and main very tasty, with pleasant service in a friendly atmosphere. Took my family to try this restaurant, and they gave it a good rating too. We will be back.

This is a real hidden gem. Our food was absolutely fabulous. The bruschetta was so tasty and our main were just as good. Will definitely be going back.

We tried Bonochi the other evening on a whim and were very impressed. The food was fantastic and it had a lovely atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly and we didn't have long to get taken to our table (with a reservation since it was Saturday evening). It had a real buzz going on, too. Their on site menu is bigger than their take-away, as well. My wife and I loved what we had, but we plan to go back because we were rubber-necking to see what others had, and it all looked amazing (as did the pizza). As others have said, it is a gem of a place (and not too hidden!). We split a tiramisu and glad we did, given the size and the espressos were very nice, as well. We definitely recommend it!

I came here with a couple of friends, one friend had eaten here several times and highly recommend it, so glad we came! The food was beautiful and service was fantastic as well, we will definitely come here again.

Delicious, authentic tasting food. A tiny little surprising oasis off the A6 in Great Moor. Calamari was tender and light. Delicious pasta with authentic, beautifully balanced sauces. I had the pasta with prawns. Generous portion with plenty of perfectly cooked king prawns and lightly spiced...

This little gem has opened very close to where I live the food and service are very good, I can highly recommend it.
