Thanks to Raymond for a fabulous evening! Brilliant food - we shared plates of Dim Sum - the specials were particularly good and we ordered extra. Raymond was super welcoming and chatty and made our evening extra special.

We got our first takeaway from here this evening after hearing many recommendations. We were definitely not disappointed, my boyfriend gave the S&P chicken wings a 9.6 out of 10 which is very high and has taken over this favourite Chinese takeaway! High praise indeed🔥 I don’t usually pick Chinese as my go to takeaway but after having this, I will only ever go here now. Very quick delivery, hot food and very tasty. Thank you :)

excellent but one of my starters was missing!

Finally tried this restaurant last Friday night with my wife. We tried 3 small plates and 2 larger plates and followed the recommendations from Raymond, who is very passionate about the food. All dishes tasted fresh, piping hot and really tasty. Only a small restaurant which had a nice ambience. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant,

Simply stunning, the best around by far. Not cheap, but worth it! Fresh, tasty and things which were supposed to be crispy were crispy. Superb.

Quite possibly the most overpriced takeaway ive had in recent years. Although it was okay at best

Food was tasty but cold. Staff really apologetic but it was very late. Also didn’t give us the correct order, asked for salt and pepper chips but received chicken instead. It’s a shame because we’ve always received such delicious hot food from here in the past. Hopefully just a blip.

Best Dim sum outside of San Fran

It came up as delivered on the app, even though nothing had been delivered, so I called & was told it was on its way. 15 minutes later still nothing do I called back & was told they’d call the driver & call me back. 10 mins later I’d still not heard anything & got told it’d been lost in the system & would need to be cooked from scratch & would be another 30 mins but that I’d get £55 off the next order (the amount it cost). 10 minutes later, the original one turned up, all pretty cold.

1st time at Peaking Garden, food was absolutely amazing. Raymond is very polite and professional. Top food, definitely visit again. 👊

Went with my wife New Year’s Eve .They had one table left before the reserved ones were taken up .Our first time and we will be going back again. The food was excellent as was the service and the helpful staff. The bill came to £44 which including a beer and the service charge was great value .Highly recommended!

Very friendly service, fantastic food. The staff couldn’t be more pleasant and the whole family loved the food. My new favourite Chinese / Asian fusion food in the area.

Used to be our favourite Chinese in the area but must be under new management as standards have really dropped. Now expensive, mediocre food in small portions. Also takeaway service is a waste of time over an hour late with no updates, they don't even answer the phone.

Really disappointing. The hot and sour soup was the blandest we’ve ever tasted and the mixed starter was rubbish. Delivery was late too.

Went here last night for the first time with hubby , son , daughter in law and grandson. What a great little restaurant. From the moment we stepped inside untill we left , nearly 4 later we were made to feel . Fantastic service and the food was amazing, very fresh , the best Singapore Vermacelli I've had . Always order Chinese to cheer myself up the last couple of times I’ve been disappointed (Ordered from elsewhere!) so I decided to order from here as was NOT disappointed- food was on time and very tasty - tried a new item prawn and mango spring rolls and will def be ordering them again! From now on I’ll just stick to ordering from here 👌🏻😋

We’ve ordered and eaten in many times before.. but last night the quality wasn’t to the usual standard.. the food arrived in 20 mins. The rice was very yellow in colour.. the prawn crackers were soft, gave us the wrong drinks, no sweet & sour sauce with the spring rolls, and the special curry wasn’t as tasty as usual.. for the price of the food. We were quite disappointed.. think we will be trying somewhere else now in future..

Lovely tasty food, good portions would recommend

I ordered 2 Salt and Pepper dishes (ships and ribs) they were quite devoid of any spice or general flavour. The dumplings were sensational though. Will order again

Wrong food order received - had to call for correct food to be delivered - no apology and we received most of order was cold. Real shame as I have eaten here many times and the food is amazing - hopefully just a one off!!

I have been given the wrong food items and the delivery came very late

Received the wrong item and was sent dumplings not char Sui buns rang the restaurant and the person I spoke to was very apologetic and said they would send them out to me which they did however they took an hour to arrive by which time I was too upset to eat them - I did eat them the next day and they were nice as was the other things I ordered - shame because the food was nice but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth

I popped into Dim Sum Bramhall with friend on a weekday afternoon. It was quiet so we got speedy service. We got a couple of beers and the £30 dim sum deal. The food was very tasty. The only thing I possibly would have liked a few lighter dishes. We happened to order crab, squid and beef rolls which all had batter. I would have loved just pan fried squid instead. Overall, though, good food. Customer service was excellent. I would certainly go again.

Decided to try a new takeaway as ours is closed on Monday. Delivery was fine, food was hot but, it was very bland. The meat was over cooked including prawns that felt like chewing rubber. Underwhelming considering the prices as well.

The food is good, but the menu is very confusing. The choice is between on one side, 3 dishes for £12 or 2 for £17. If you want to mix, it becomes confusing

Food was lovely, really tasty and hot but..... the seafood chow mein that should have had king prawn, squid and scallops did not contain scallops!! The king prawn and squid was there but, instead of scallops there was some brown (once white) fish of unknown origin?? The hors dourve starter for two which was almost £18 had only two piddly ribs, two spring rolls, two tiny chicken skewers and a miniscule tub of seaweed - at any other takeaway that would have been half the price.... I thought we were in for an abundant treat for the price!! I won't be ordering again guys!!

This is the first time of complaint with this restaurant. Dim sum cold meat rolls cold and not fresh. Spare ribs disgusting and cold. Soup like warm not had main course yet. Not the usual standard I've had on previous orders. If that had been in a restaurant would have sent it back.

We have ordered several times from here via just eat. We have been so happy with our food until our last order, which reached £75 yet was completely unacceptable. The vegetable Singapore noodles had no spices) flavours at all and we had to throw away two whole portions. The salt and pepper pork was completely not the usual and very greasy, one piece had a huge knuckle in like you might get on a rib. So disappointed and just eat won't do anything to help. Such a shame.

The nicest Chinese meal I’ve had since I can remember! So authentic, so fresh tasting, good portions and really well cooked! Can tell it’s high quality ingredients, will definitely be ordering again! Slightly later delivery time but you don’t mind toooo much when it’s this good, thanks!

Quick delivery & lovely food but didn’t deliver prawn crackers.

Unusual for this restaurant but the order was incorrect. One item missing, the pagoda chicken was inedible (chewy) I complained but was told that it’s how the chef likes to cook it! Ordered scallop starters which were swapped for a scallop main meal. Nice surprise but not as tasty as starters.

Sorry to have to post this but this is the second time we have ordered from here. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time as an 'off night' but tonight was awful. My wife's dish was so salty it was inedible and is now in the bin and my Chilli Crispy Beef was so tough and chewy I'm going to need emergency dental care tomorrow. The quality of food is just really bad and our meal, 2 x soups and 2 mains with a chips was over £40. I would request a full refund for this because it was so poor, going to have to now cook something. Awful.

Ray was so attentive and funny, nothing too much trouble and mamas beef was to die for. Had great conversation about my Chinese heritage and he looked at my tattoo of my grandfather's name and how unusual the surname was. We don't eat Chinese often but of we want to eat it we will go here again for sure. Only downside was it was freezing cold in there. Get your heating sorted Ray 😄

Half an hour late, had to reheat and for people who don't like boiled chicken (I hate boiled chicken) it has massive pieces in the fried rice x

Just had the best Chinese food that I've eaten in years, so fresh tasting, absolutely delicious. Also a really cosy small restaurant with friendly staff, we'll definitely be eating there again.

The food was brilliant but the scheduled delivery time was ignored from the order so arrived over an hour before planned and was cold before the event it was planned for started.

Clearly very freshly cooked and lovely! Slightly more expensive than others but better quality !

Unfortunately won’t be ordering again. Chips and salt and pepper chips were just cheap French fries and veg sweet and sour was extremely questionable, whatever it contain- I had to throw it into bin. Such a shame as had a high expectation.

Our first time ordering from here. The food was delicious, really good quality, and Raymond couldn’t have been more helpful: calling to discuss a dietary requirement to make sure everything was exactly right and even contacting another branch to find a dish they’d run out of. Great service and a great meal, would absolutely recommend.
