I have to say there is no better place to go, it was amazing I had the sticky ribs and my husband had the gambas such flavours in the food. The best thing was Louisa she was amazing so welcoming and I just felt so relaxed I would be happy to eat here on my own and with my family thank you again can’t wait to go back

Absolutely love Trunk - has to be my favourite place to dine out in the local area. It's a gem with laid-back vibes and always a treat. The menu is a lovely mix of Mediterranean tapas delights, and more substantial bistro style dishes. Whether you're craving a hearty burger or something more adventurous, Trunk has got you covered. On my recent visit, I had an awesome combo of ham croquettes (yum), chorizo in honey BBQ sauce, and a spicy bean dish - all delicious. And the house red is pretty damn quaffable too. But the real star of the show? The staff. Friendly, attentive, and always ready with a smile, they make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Whether you need a recommendation or just want to chat about the menu, they're there to make sure your dining experience is nothing short of fantastic. Updated review as we came for a family Easter Brunch this week and the Grandkids loved the Easter Bunny and all the activities such a family oriented team and nothing is ever any trouble for the team! Came here Christmas eve, every table was full. The live Spanish singer was fantastic. The Manager was very helpful explaining the menu and had the most welcoming smile and nothing was too much trouble for her. Our waitress was also very efficient always checking if we need any more drinks. Food was fantastic and arrived at a good pace seen as how busy they were. Will be returning again for the live music.

Good food, ordered tapas exclusively and enjoyed it. They should make sure that for a restaurant that has such a large tapas menu that they know how to serve it, however. Tapas should be served in multiple waves, allowing the table to eat and share 2-3 plates at a time, then have them replaced. Importantly, olives should never come alongside the tapas, but before it with the drinks. Serving them all at once means that half of them are cold by the time you get to eat them, and the olives go untouched. Enjuyable meal though, and the "serve it all at once" thing is unfortunately very common when trying to eat Tapas in the UK

Good restaurant and great food. Staff was polite but they really lacked concentration and focus. I had ordered a meal and my friend had ordered some meat balls. Upon recieving the bill, I had noticed that my order had been put down for 2 people. I didn't complain or make a fuss as it was good food but I did say I needed sea food paella for me only not for 2 people. I'm not sure it would have gone down well with someone else. I also found myself having to walk up to them to request for water or to get served. That's the only thing that I think they need improvement on. Overall, polite staff, good atmosphere and good food.

Popped in for lunch before we headed to Manchester Airport. Lovely tapas full of flavour and great quality. Friendly service and lovely atmosphere. Lunch offer was great too! Can’t wait to go back and sample more of the menu.

Visited yesterday for the Bottomless Tapas for my 50th birthday celebration as a group of 16 friends. We were given an area of the restaurant which meant we could all mingle and chat, much better than all being on one long table. The drinks were lovely and topped up regularly. The food was also great. Grace did an amazing job looking after us, thank you.

Visit 1: dinner: Delicious food, friendly and attentive service, lovely decor. Visit 2: breakfast: don’t usually change reviews but the service was so so bad on my second visit. 10 minutes to get seated even though we booked. It took 50 minutes to receive our food and only after following up did we finally get it. Had to ask for tap water 3 times. The bill twice. And getting their attention was near impossible so this was all a very slow painful process. Disappointing. Particularly since the restaurant wasn’t even busy. Maybe different people on the morning vs evening shift? Food was still very good.

An absolutely brilliant environment with fantastic food, amazing singer ( Liam McClaire, what a voice!!!,) and nice staff. 100% recommend this place ….. we really enjoyed it. It was a treat to listen to that music and eat our dinner. Thanks to all for a lovely night.

Great range of choices of food and drinks.

First time visit, food was ok but nothing to write home about, took 60 minutes for the first tapas dish to arrive. We were served by 4 different staff 2 of which were very pleasant ( younger 2 ) the older 2 were very solemn faced. Service was poor, had to go looking for staff to get condiments and order more drinks on numerous occasions.

We came to Trunk to celebrate my birthday. The tapas was delicious, especially the lamb and rhubarb stew. The staff were very helpful and friendly. In particular, we were very grateful to George, who helped my husband when he was feeling unwell after our meal. ( Nothing to do with the food!). Would highly recommend Trunk for good food and service.

Recently visited Trunk for the bottomless brunch offer, and had a fantastic time. Unlike many other places that have a restricted food menu for bottomless brunches, Trunk allows you to choose from the entire tapas menu. The food is always great, and this visit was just as good. Good options with the drinks too. All round excellent value.

Visited here for a rare ladies catch up and the ambience plus the exceptional food surpassed our expectations. Harry was a phenomenal server, great knowledge of the dishes and confident in his communication. We sampled 12 dishes and would recommend each and every one however we would highly encourage you to try the halloumi (even those hard core meat eaters will be impressed with this), the potatas braves and the meatballs. Harry talked us through each and every dessert with his personal recommendations which didn't disappoint with the very berry Eaton Mess

First time here and will definitely be back. My friend and I had the £21 offer which is 3 tapas plus glass of vino. We both had the gambas pil pil and piri chicken skewers. I also had the cauliflower and my friend had patatas bravas. We shared the chocolate torte with chantilly cream which was awesome! Lovely ambiance and great service from friendly staff. This was our second visit to Trunk Lounge, if anything it was even more enjoyable than the last time. The ambience was lovely and 'Summery', a lovely contrast to the Winter's night outside. The food was just delicious and accompanied by a lovely glass of Chianti. Unfortunately we had not left room for any desserts but we did have a very enjoyable pair of cocktails as a digestif. (Our Labrador was also made very welcome!)

Always such a treat to visit Trunk. The staff are friendly, food and drink are both incredible and the fab live music really contributes to the atmosphere. The themed nights and events are always ones to look forward to!

Came on Friday evening a few weeks ago with the girls for a catch up, we were greeted at the door by Louise with her walming welcoming smile, we were shown to our table which was a high one but one of my friends has a bad back so Louise quickly shuffled Things around to get us on a booth which was really appreciated as the restaurant was full , she told us Grace would be looking after us and she did an amazing job, very attentive always made sure our cocktails were topped up and had a lovely bubbly personality . Food was amazing and my GF friend was well taken care off . Trunk is always 10 out of 10 every time we visit as a family, date night or with friends. There is no Wonder they are the busiest restaurant in Bramhall , the staff are always so friendly and go out of their way to ensure a perfect visit !

Came to brunch with my two daughters and stumbled across this little gem of a tapas restaurant. I was greeted at the door by an amazing waitress who seated us at the best seat in the house! 😊 They even spoke to my daughter about basketball and netball for an hour!!! Visited today for an 18th birthday celebration. Food was excellent and service superb, a special mention to Caitlin who went over and above her duty to make us feel welcome, appreciated and happy. Nice food but it all came at once and was not particularly hot. We prefer tapas to be served separately so it remains hot. Service and atmosphere were fine but not standout.

Really enjoyable meal this evening for my husband’s birthday. The staff were really lovely and were able to accommodate my daughter’s gluten intolerance so much so that 80% of the food we ordered they were able to make gluten free. Highly recommend and thank you as it’s not always easy eating out when GF 🙏

We visited Trunk for a joint 50th celebration and chose the bottomless drinks and tapas option. This includes 3 plates of tapas each and a selection of drinks (you can upgrade this as well). The food is generously portioned and very tasty and the drinks flowed! The service at Trunk is exemplary - your happiness is there goal. Always a pleasure to eat here and really glad we chose this venue to celebrate. Great value too.

We booked the Bottomless drinks and tapas option for a 50th celebration. It did not disappoint. 3 tapas each was more than enough with generous portions and the bottomless drinks kept flowing (the pink sangria was v good). The service in this restaurant is exemplary, nothing is too much trouble and your enjoyment is the teams focus. Really glad we picked Trunk instead of travelling into Manchester.

We can review the food now too as we just love this village vibe Tapas restaurant . The food is stunning and we love the 3 for 2 on Tuesdays. Also the Friday night live music is a great one with the girls always a lovely atmosphere, we must try a bottomless brunch after dry Jan! The staff are all amazing and happy to be at work which really adds to the atmosphere. Can’t review the food as this is our new Friday morning coffee hangout . For the last 2 weeks we have come for family coffee with our son . Louisa and George took my 2 year old son for milkshake training I can’t explain in a review how amazing the service is at trunk. If you have kids … come on a Friday morning as it seems it’s Louisa and George every week . Must come For tapas soon as the menu looks amazing !

Really enjoyable visit with family tonight. The food was excellent. We had a mix of 11 tapas dishes between 4 of us. Every single dish we had was lovely. In particular the ribs, meatballs and Patatas Bravas were fabulous. I would highly recommend a visit here and we will be back. I noticed they also have good deals on some week nights.

Visited here on New year's Eve, and although very busy we had a fabulous time. Staff were excellent and friendly, food and drink was lovely and the live musician made the atmosphere brilliant. Can't wait to re visit.

Fantastic menu and friendly staff. Choice of small plates or large individual plates. Varied Mediterranean menu often combined with wine deals. I’ve now been for dinner, lunch and breakfast/brunch many times and the menu is exceptional. I would happily recommend anything off the tapas menu. For Main dishes, a new personal favourite is the steak frites which is great. At brekkie, the full breakfast or steak and eggs but vegan and veggie menus also extensive.

Incredible restaurant! The decor and atmosphere is inviting, warm and super friendly. So much variety with the menus and every dish was DELICIOUS! We had chorizo, chicken skewers, pork belly, goats cheese tart and dipping breads - served hot, all looked so yummy and tasted even better. Every server is so friendly, smily and attentive. It was our first visit to Trunk. We were lucky enough to have Josh, a new server, waiting on our table of four.. He was fabulously attentive, very friendly and knowledgeable of the food and drink. Josh is a great asset to Trunk!

We were a small group of 5 so nearly all ordered the tapas. There was a mixture of ribs, prawns pil pil, garlic bread, bread and hummus dip. We had the fillet steak with potatoes with various sauces available. The steak was delicious and enjoyed by all. This was all followed up with desert like Eton mess. Service was brilliant. Food was good service very average not to sure about covid safety as I requested some salt and waitress brought me a small open dish with salt in it ? could have been dipped into by a dozen other diner's for all I know also waitress came to table and asked if she could take some empty plates while we were still eating very very annoying and not the best practice in the current climate ☹️

Lovely restaurant, there was live music and the cocktails were very good at a fair price too. Only downside was that the tables were sticky. The waitress was lovely, wasn’t familiar with the new autumn cocktails but she was helpful.

Myself and my husband dined at this lovely restaurant on Saturday teatime, the staff were professional and sooo friendly, gave great advice on what Tapas to try then made us the largest Sangria ever. It was a gloriously warm day we sat at one of the window seats sipping Sangria and eating the best tapas we have ever eaten in the uk. Truly amazing. You guys are doing a great job, looking forward to coming back with our friends.

Great tapas, had 6 between 2 people and it was more than enough. Churros great for dessert. Cosy decor, great menu range and prices, dog friendly too! Louisa is was so lovely, looking forward to seeing you again soon!
