The best restaurants serving Italian food in Manchester North West

From the moment we entered the restaurant, the service were friendly and welcoming. The food was piping hot and delicious. They did get the cocktail order wrong but, this was quickly resolved. Will definitely return next time we visit Manchester. Lovely, somewhat hidden gem that is away from the hustle and bustle and offers a quieter atmosphere to the larger restaurants in the surrounding area.

Really lovely staff. Food was fresh and tasty. Comfy cubicles to sit and eat food. Really reasonable prices.

Had a lovely meal again at Italiana 55 in Didsbury, we were there with family to celebrate Mother’s Day. Lovely food as usual and excellent service, especially from Anna and martina who looked after us

We regularly dine at Ancoats, Didsbury, and Chorlton, but Ascots remains our absolute favorite! The service is always exceptional, with such warm and friendly staff. A special shoutout to Lewis—what an absolute gem! His positivity, attentiveness, and constant smile make every visit a delight. He truly goes above and beyond to create a wonderful dining experience. First time at Rudy's... amazing pizza!!! I'd say the best outside of Italy! Good value too.

Warm welcome from willing staff. Nano and Erica kept us well fed and watered, with a minimum of fuss and discreet attention. Good choice of pastas with meat or fish dishes, salads. Simple, inexpensive wines unless you want to push the boat out. Bravo!

No he estado aquí antes, pero se recomendó. Popular, muy ocupado para mediados de semana. Todo el mundo estaba satisfecho con su comida. Los entrantes eran buenos, filete de ojo de costilla bien ración, cocinado como ordenado y delicioso con una salsa de setas encantadora, otros tenían pescado, pizza, pasta y un vástago de cordero. Carta de vinos corta pero decente - Chianti Classico recomendado si un toque querido. Calado Peroni. Servicio muy bueno. Solo lado negativo como que sin superficies blandas el nivel de ruido era alto.

Came on a busy day due to the Manchester marathon so service was a bit chaotic. Had an issue with our drinks not arriving and a slightly wrong starter, but George got it sorted for us really quick. The food itself was great throughout.

A group of us went here for food, the pizzas and starters were ok. However my partner found a long black hair in his Arancini balls, which he complained to them and they took it off the bill, when we came to pay they were quite rude about the fact we didn’t want to pay the service charge, which we then said, why would we when we found hair in the food & the men’s toilet had loads of cigarette butts in the sink & no hand wash in the bathrooms. I’ll give an overall 2 star rating because some staff were ok at their job (apart from the red haired lady)& the starters were good.

Honestly, been visiting Rudy's now for 8 years since the Ancoats early days... It never disappoints. Chorlton's branch is cosy and pleasant. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is amazing. You simply won't get better pizza Please don't change.

Absolutely phenomenal pizza's. Service from the owner fantastic, rang me to say then had run out of chilli cheese bites and asked to replace it. Not many takeaways do that. Will definitely be ordering from here going forward. Thank you to the owners.

I visited the Slice pizza at Oxford Road station (not the one pictured on here), and I'd just like to say what a lovely experience I had. I was greeted by a lovely young man wearing glasses, I think his name was Wilf. He was friendly, professional and nothing was too much trouble. It's really lovely to experience such good customer service. I would visit again in light of this. Pizza was also delicious. Thanks
