Takeaway is amazing hot and delicious. They are always accommodating with my requests. The new pasta is so good too. Keep up the good work

I wish now that we had tried the food - we were a 'walk-in' and were seated quickly but after considering the menu we decided to try elsewhere - the ambience was a little lacking and the menu a little limited, especially for vegetarians. There was a table with quite loud children and as there was no background music or soft furnishings it was a bit grating. Plus we hadn't realised it was BYO for wine. At least one dish marked as vegetarian listed meat which always makes me a bit nervous. But will give it a go another day.

Shop side has good range of local products and luxury additions - cafe nicely laid out and welcoming. Wine & beer available. We had a late sandwich lunch - Brie & bacon was well filled and beautifully melting. Roast beef sandwiches were tasty and had epic horseradish and piquant crunchy salad on the side.

I came here with a friend for lunch on Saturday a few weeks back. I had heard about their fresh pasta and really wanted to give it a go! I ordered the fresh spaghetti with basil sauce & cherry tomatoes. The pasta was absolutely stunning, I've never had fresh pasta like it before! Texture was wonderful, and the basil sauce was great too! The venue itself is great, very sunny and bright with a glass roof, lots of space to sit! I don't believe that they're on the Capital Walk app, so you have to go up and order manually. Staff are very friendly and happy to talk about their food. Next time I really want to try some of the other pastas they have available, and a pizza! If you're in Congleton and looking for somewhere to eat, I highly recommend this place!

This was our second time here, both times were wonderful. The food is delicious and very tasty. The girl and gentleman who were serving us, served the whole restaurant by themselves and were very attentive and such nice people. The manager was such a good laugh. A great family restaurant, great for all xx

Our booking was for early evening (1/11) prior to an event in Nantwich. I hadn’t finished taking my coat off when we were asked if we wanted a drink, we asked to have a few minutes to look at the menu. It was very quiet and we felt under pressure to order, I dislike asking for more time, however I also want to enjoy the experience. We shared whipped burrata with tomatoes and focaccia, it was very tasty and a plentiful portion, I was glad we shared it. My husband had paccheri al ragu di agnello, slow cooked ragu of lamb with vegetables, finished with white wine and a touch of tomato, it was ok, however my husband likened it to ‘left over Sunday lunch with pasta’. My salmon, however was delicious, perfectly cooked, served with roasted baby potatoes, spinach and a fabulous honey and walnut dressing. The last time we visited Romazzino I commented on the lack of warmth from the two male maitre d’s, sadly nothing has improved from one of the gentleman along with a female maitre d companion. Again, smiling was non existent and both were aloof. The waiting staff however were delightful. Will we return, absolutely, I’m hoping for great service, third time lucky perhaps?

Can't fault the service, spot on, attentive. Food, just average. I tasted a variety of meals around our large family table, and many sauces lacked any depth and seasoning. My friend ate a £27 salmon dish and it was on a pea puree that tasted of barely anything. Small salmon, pea puree and some roasted new potatoes, £27.!!!. I ate seafood risotto and it was OK, bit basic for a supposedly proper Italian. Carbonara was average too. Pizza was poor. I arrived at 6pm, didn't get my main until 730pm Underwhelmed.

We used to love Ciao and was hoping for an amazing Italian. Social just lacked that friendly, Italian feel. Service lacks warmth and personality. It was quiet enough to take the time to smile at least and engage with the customers. Food is nice enough but cold and not presented brilliantly. Tiramisu had hair in it and rubbish bag left in the hallway as you walked to toilets. One of my little girls banged her head and the bar staff just looked over and carried on laughing and chatting. Ciao used to make the children feel special and that’s why they wanted to eat there! Food is expensive for what it is.
