The food here is amazing. Hot fresh and tasty. It was all delicious. We had 2 or 3 courses which were great value. Great portion size, I had to take half my pizza home with me. Nothing is to much trouble and a great atmosphere

Take out: My partner and I took advantage of the new ‘design your own pizza’ and also tried the new capers emac and cheese and they were both SO nice! The pizza was very yummy and cooked really well - not too crispy or too doughy. The mac and cheese was fab, so cheesy with 3 types of cheese as well as sun-dried tomatoes and tomato sauce. All very yummy and really good for the prices. Would highly recommend if you’re in Audlem!

We had decided we'd finally try this place out as we'd seen good reviews and had it recommended a couple of times by friends. The atmosphere in the dining room is lovely, although on the smaller side it didn't feel cramped at all and was decorated lovely. The food itself came relatively fast considering they had a few takeaways and it was made very fresh, which was clear as the meals tasted and looked wonderful. Our waitress was extremely kind and attentive as she checked back on us many times for extra drinks etc, the desserts were very well presented and tasted amazing (The Cannoli being the star of the show). We will definitely be back, this is truly a lovely restaurant that is clearly run with love and care :)

Great find, had booked, came a little early, no problem. Very busy. Mushroom and pesto arancini to start, lovely, nice glass of wine. Chicken arrabiata for me, my wife had lamb, both very good. Finished off with a grappa.

We pre-booked online and got confirmation the next morning. We booked for my husband’s forthcoming birthday and we were blown away by the food, service and welcome we got when we arrived - after braving the floods at Corbrook! The name Piccola must only refer to the size of the restaurant because there is nothing ‘piccola’ about the huge menu choices or the portions. Nor even the prices - which we felt were very reasonable; including drinks prices. We had the bruschetta and garlic bread to start followed by the chicken wrapped in ham and I had the aubergine parmigiana. The portion sizes were big and we hesitated about desert… but, it is a birthday treat after all! So, we plumped for Oreo cheesecake and pistachio ice cream. The team were very friendly and welcoming and the service was excellent. We fully intend to return again and will try the take away pizza too. Thank you for a really enjoyable evening.

Rang late on a Saturday but they were full for a table reservation, not surprised really so we ordered take away instead. The pizzas were amazing, absolutely delicious, you can tell only quality produce is used. Really hot, they were just perfect.

We moored our narrow boat and headed into the village of Audlem to find our dinner. At the top of the village just beyond the church we found this great little Italian restaurant. It is little, fifteen covers at a time plus take away. Great food, great service, friendly atmosphere. It’s just perfect for a great pizza meal when you have spent the day working locks on the canal. They cater very well for GF, vegan, vegetarian. Well priced dishes and some excellent vegan/organic wine available. We loved it.

The food and service were excellent. Although it isn't a large menu, we were very spoiled for choice. The wine was also very good. We've had takeaway pizza from there in the past which was very good. We will definitely be back.

Very small restaurant, which should really be called a pizzeria. Wooden bench seats are too uncomfortable for a relaxing evening meal - but I expect they are there so they can cram more people in. Since you can get a decent pizza almost anywhere now, we elected for the "other" Italian food on offer - to be honest, I can do better myself (and I don't consider myself a chef). Quite bland food with nothing to make you feel like it's special - tip to chef. penne arrabiata is supposed to be "piquant", not so hot it made me sweat (and I eat lots of very hot food). The pizzas did look good though! Service was good, wine list was unimaginative and uninspiring. Unfortunately for the restaurant, a multi-generational family with absolutely awful manners were also dining that night and clearly upset the staff as well as other diners. However, I've tried to ensure my review is not influenced by this.

Quality, authentic Italian food (and drink) at reasonable prices. This was our fifth visit in 6 months, and we have never had a bad meal. We have also used their take away service too. If you like Italian food you will LOVE this place as the quality and presentation are mouth watering ! Just make sure you leave room for dessert as these are truly fabulous (especially the lemon tart) ! A definite asset to the village. The place may be small, but the food is off the scale on the "scrumptious" chart ! Amore. amore ... much more... please !

Shop side has good range of local products and luxury additions - cafe nicely laid out and welcoming. Wine & beer available. We had a late sandwich lunch - Brie & bacon was well filled and beautifully melting. Roast beef sandwiches were tasty and had epic horseradish and piquant crunchy salad on the side.

They're all so lovely in here and service is always with a smile 🫶 Why this cafe stands out in this town: 1) Open on a Sunday with Dine-In 2) Dining area out back for nice days 10/10

Our booking was for early evening (1/11) prior to an event in Nantwich. I hadn’t finished taking my coat off when we were asked if we wanted a drink, we asked to have a few minutes to look at the menu. It was very quiet and we felt under pressure to order, I dislike asking for more time, however I also want to enjoy the experience. We shared whipped burrata with tomatoes and focaccia, it was very tasty and a plentiful portion, I was glad we shared it. My husband had paccheri al ragu di agnello, slow cooked ragu of lamb with vegetables, finished with white wine and a touch of tomato, it was ok, however my husband likened it to ‘left over Sunday lunch with pasta’. My salmon, however was delicious, perfectly cooked, served with roasted baby potatoes, spinach and a fabulous honey and walnut dressing. The last time we visited Romazzino I commented on the lack of warmth from the two male maitre d’s, sadly nothing has improved from one of the gentleman along with a female maitre d companion. Again, smiling was non existent and both were aloof. The waiting staff however were delightful. Will we return, absolutely, I’m hoping for great service, third time lucky perhaps?
