What a place excellent service excellent food highly recommended

Came back again and enjoyed it so much! The garden was a lovely atmosphere in the summer.

Reviewed before and great to see this super friendly café now has enough reviews to move up the charts. On this occasion we were here as a standby but our friends were very pleased with their food. Ali has left since our last visit but we were treated very well and had a nice table by the kitchen. Food was perfect and it's very reasonable. A veggie break for £9 I think and that includes a coffee and OJ. Be back again sometime.

There is a small car park situated outside the cafe, this can get busy as the day goes on so parking right outside may not always be an option. We visited on a Sunday morning and got the last table, this is only a small cafe. We had a very warm and friendly welcome and our drinks order was taken. We had the eggs benedict and the pancakes. The pancakes are a crepe rather than the fluffy American style which is what I was expecting however they were still nice. The eggs benedict was a good portion size with a small side of salad. The service is what really made this place shine, it was so friendly and chatty and you got a feeling that people were just coming in just for a coffee and conversation.

The best cafe in Macclesfield, the food, the atmosphere, and most importantly owned and ran by the most kind hearted man, have witnessed the owner walking elderly customers over roads safely, always opens the door for his customers, always cheerful and polite, he just deserves all the good feedback and more. What a brilliant find Rustica was for a family brunch after a birthday party before we all headed home - some to to London and Wiltshire and others locally. 12 of us just turned up yesterday and were made very welcome - nothing was too much trouble - adapting the menu for gluten free, letting us move tables and accepting adhoc and extra orders all the time we were there. It really made the end of our family celebrations and goodbyes finish on a high. All the food was great - I had a delicious panini but when I saw the omelette with fresh spinach I decided that's what I'm having next time. All the English breakfasts were enjoyed. As a coffee lover it was a complete bonus to find that you could have barista coffee as well as filter.

We are here on vacation and found this Jewel by luck. The food was absolutely amazing, fresh and just tasty! The Chef made the Pancakes fresh! We are really blown away. The Staff was so nice to us and even brought us water for our two Dogs. If we would life here, we would come very often! Thanks for a great meal 🙏🏼

Lovely little café with extremely welcoming and friendly staff. Went for a birthday breakfast with my daughter and had a delicious full English served with coffee (very happy to change coffee to hot chocolate for my daughter) and juice. Very highly recommended! Thank you very much 🙂

Excellent vegetarian breakfast enjoyed today. Although not on the menu, when asked if they could do one, without hesitation the answer was yes. Great service and good value for money. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you Rustica.

I had done a phone order for food (only a bap) but they kindly done me one on request, i got there and the staff are lovely. The Caff itself is clean and bright with a nice atmastphere. The price for food is also brill!! My new go-to I think!

Always great service and great food. The outdoor seating area is great when the weather is nice. Ali is always on hand to help and their Great Rustica breakfast at £8.50 is a bargain. Their pasta Carbonara is the best around.

Popped in for a quick coffee and bacon bap - both very tasty; great quality and reasonably priced. Staff very accommodating when we were on a time limit! Will definitely return when we are next in the area.

Brought my niece and her fiancé here this morning and they were full of praise for both the food and the service. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is reasonably priced. The 'full English' includes mushrooms and black pudding and coffee and orange juice, reminds me of my trip to Sugar and Spice in Windermere - £1.50 for a slice of black pudding! The owner who served us deserves every success and I'm glad to support this great local business.

This has always been a great little cafe. Good food and friendly staff. Unfortunately when I visited last week with my mum the front of house coffee maker/server made a terrible mistake. After leaving my name and phone number for track and trace he saw it fit to use my PERSONAL details from this list to contact me personally. This is a violation of my privacy and a total breach and misuse of my personal details. I have approached the cafe so they know what this staff member is up to and the police have been consulted. I have also reported him to the IOC. Please avoid at all costs for your own safety and to protect anyone vulnerable being subjected to his harassment.

Only the second time that I’ve been and such a lovely atmosphere, service and food. Highly recommend this place and definitely worth a try.

Went to Rustica for full breakfast, toast, orange juice and a pot oftea. It was piping hot and fantastic. Would definately recommend and have no hesitation in going back.

We were looking for an early breakfast so that we would be ready for Sunday lunch(!) and Rustica was opening at 8am. I'm notsure if anywhere else is open at that time, some places don't even open on a Sunday in Macclesfield. Friendly welcome as ever, nice and warm inside and able to choose our seats. We all ordered something different and we all enjoyed our food. The sausages aren't that meaty, a bit spongy and the ketchup is thin but the price takes account of this and more. Coffee was very good. As I've said before, super friendly service.

Rustica sits just off Park Lane, we popped in for an all day breakfast. Comes with free orange juice. Food was good, and staff are very friendly. Definitely a place to visit.

This is the first time we have had breakfast in Rustica but have wanted to go for a long while and it was well worth the wait!! Despite this place only being round the corner from where we live we have never visited, Turns out this was a big mistake on our part. What a hidden gem it turned out to be! We went with a friend for Sunday breakfast and it was lovely. Everything freshly cooked and really reasonable pricing. The owner is super friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere was great. I was expecting it to be quiet but we were lucky to get the last table and for the whole visit as soon as a table became free another group seemed to appear to take it. Well worth walking through Macc and out of your way to try.

You can be sure of two things at Rustica; the genuinely friendly service and also the excellent value.It's open at 8 and this was one of the reasons we were here today, the morning after the night before! We had a selection of breakfasts, one of us went 'off piste' and they were more than happy to oblige, later working out the best price to base it on.One of my friends had the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and I was impressed with the way it was mixed as I'm not a fan of the texture of smoked salmon.I had the breakfast which is such incredible value at £6.95, including juice and a coffee. Maybe the sausages and the ketchup aren't as meaty and thick respectively as I'd prefer but you really cannot quibble for the price.Always an enjoyable experience and hopefully with more reviews Rustica will move up the rankings because 50 of 150 does not do it justice.

We were visiting the Silk Museum and needed somewhere local for lunch. A search on Google suggested that Rustica was better than your average cafe. And it was. A lovely warm welcome from the team, and the decor and menu to match. We all went for their Panini, and we were all very pleased with our choices, it's always good to get a few chips on the side, alongside the salad. Actually, I think it's probably better that it's not my local as I'm pretty sure I'd be tempted to have my breakfasts there more than I ought.

This excellent little restaurant is virtually unique in offering breakfast on a Sunday at 8am, most others in Macclesfield don’t open till 9 or 10. The breakfast was very good and reasonably priced, and the cleanliness was of a high standard. There is also free, albeit limited parking right outside.

Lovely service and a warm welcome - almost enough for a 5 star experience just there. But the food is great too. My Scottish scrambled eggs and salmon came out with a salad garnish as well as a generous portion of toast on the side (we asked for jam and this was also willingly brought out). Rustica offers a pleasant, clean and well-cared for environment in a small group of shops on the north of town. We especially LOVE that it was open early on a Sunday morning so we could stop for breakfast on our way to a day out walking. What a find, and we look forward to returning.

I’d been on a stag-do followed by visiting my best mate for a few days... just before starting a new job. Rustica provided me with the fuel to knock that first day out even with the extremities of the previous 5. The breakfast was great. The menu didn’t give too much detail as to what was included with my full English but as I was in a rush, I didn’t really care. To be delivered with a full works, every item you’d expect, full English was a delight. It was hot, cooked perfectly, the ideal amount and tasted delicious without being greasy. Top notch! The fact that there was fresh orange juice was included added to the enjoyment as I didn’t even realise I needed one. The latte was also exemplary. All served with plenty of time to catch my train.... Bravo!!

We come for breakfast here quite regularly. The salmon and eggs on toast is incredible ! Always a great welcome with a big smile everytime we come ! Always busy which says it all !

Lovely little cafe with friendly staff. Between four of us we had porridge, 2 small breakfasts and granola. My husband thought the granola with yogurt was delicious and the small cooked breakfasts were just the right size. If you didn't like anything they we're happy to substitute it with something else.

Daughter treated my to a surprise lunch. You must try the lasagna she said. I did and it was hot, home made and delicoius.

There are a good number of places to have breakfast in Macclesfield and at Rustica you are guaranteed a warm welcome. The owner/ manager is genuinely friendly and is always looking to make sure you have an enjoyable experience; on our last visit, twice checking the blinds were covering the bright sunshine.

Food average, but you can't really do much else with a cooked breakfast. The restaurant can get a little smoky from the kitchen.

After a walk in the mist above Teggs Nose we were ready for a bite to eat and after seeing that the Teggs cafe stopped serving bacon butties at 10.30, we googled for a nearby cafe.

Called in for a late breakfast, lovely cafe with a very warm welcome. Great service and a lovely breakfast. All 3 had the rustica breakfast which included orange juice and tea or coffee. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and the bill for all 3 was £19:50 which was fantastic value.

Great food. The Spaghetti Bolognese the very best I've had. Relaxed, friendly...if only all eateries were like this I'd never cook again. You can sit alfresco and enjoy the traffic. Only the beach is missing.

We have been to Rustica several times now and have never been disappointed. The staff are extremely friendly and pleasant and the food is beautifully cooked and not greasy at all. The meals are very reasonably priced. Nothing is too much trouble. We went as a family of four and thought it would be nice to eat outside as it was very warm but slightly cloudy, so the two tables were moved together for us with a smile. When the sun emerged from behind the cloud and it became extremely hot, again it was no trouble to re-seat us inside, again with a smile. The cafe is nice and clean and it is without doubt the best cafe we have been to. We can thoroughly recommend Rustica.

I love this restaurant. The service and food is excellent. The downside to eating here is you stink of fried food when you leave. They really need to install some ventilation into their kitchen.

I go to this cafe often with my husband and it’s always great, today on Father’s Day all the family came with us a total of 14 they were very accodating with this size on such a busy day. The waiters were excellent and I wanted to write this review because I wanted to write this review because the atmosphere and the friendly really made Father’s Day special.
