We visited after a lovely afternoon at the Nantwich Food Festival, it was lovely to relax in such nice surroundings after the hustle and bustle of the town. Our food was delicious, we enjoyed arancini and whipped burrata to start, very generous portions and really tasty. Followed by ricotta and parmesan filled ravioli in a rich tomato and basil sauce and perfectly cooked salmon with spinach, baby potatoes and the lightest honey walnut dressing. Both were so good. Service was the only area we felt lacking. The older gentleman was delightful as always, the two younger maitre d’s were a little surly, no smiling and aloof, which was a shame. Our tip was generous and received without any acknowledgement - disappointing. Food excellent, service less so. A shame. Will we return? Absolutely, I hope that they take this constructive feedback on board.

A family meal to celebrate a birthday. Amazing and authentic Italian food,l; great service and good atmosphere. Very attentive staff and a warm welcome too. We’ve spent some time in Italy this Summer and were keen to see how the pizzas compared! Exceptionally well is the answer!

My partner and I visited this restaurant with our families to enjoy some pizza. My partner and her mother are coeliac, however the menu is GF friendly and is the highest quality gluten free produce they have ever eaten. I tried their pizza and it was perfect, tasty and had a nice texture and taste to the crust. It was an incredibly enjoyable and tasty dinner. John and Alice are the ones in the kitchen in charge of the cuisine prepared for us we were told, and to them I thank them and hope they keep up the impressive work they produce. I would recommend this place to anyone, and definitely most people who live a GF diet. From the food, the service and the complimentary limoncello at the end, it was perfect.

Came here last Friday and was made uncomfortable by other diners. Me and my hubby were sat next to a group of very rude women… making the young waitress so uncomfortable it was hard to watch. I have now seen the review personally and can vouch that the young waitress + the other waitresses handled the situation so well👏🏼 it really makes me sad that some people make it their mission to make young women uncomfortable in their place of work. Regardless this our experience was amazing!! Would definitely recommend the food was brilliant and the service even better. Thanks to All xx

Rude waitress who were paying our bill to. Very rude second and third waitresses who abused our group in front of other customers because we expressed our dissatisfaction at the attitude of a young waitress. The waitress was the daughter of one of the other waitresses so I understand nobody likes their children to be critised but maybe consider that she clearly did not want to be working in your restaurant on a Friday night and its not fair that customers should endure her attitude as it spoils their extremely expensive dining experience. Up shot is we are now barred....thank goodness

Excellent meal, first class, cannot understand why it is not rated number 1 as I have eaten at the others and they really are not as good as this eatery at all. Service first class friendly and helpful the Risotto and pasta were perfect the puddings were lush and the coffee was the best in town, we will definitely return soon

A totally wonderful evening, lovely atmosphere incredible menu, professional staff who were so friendly and helpful. The food was so well prepared and cooked and beautifully presented. The menu even has a vegan section which is so lovely to see, lovely wine list and non alcoholic larger. After recently moving to the area it was so lovely to find our new go to Italian restaurant.

Food was good but service was extremely poor. Felt we were being rushed out of the door. Table booked for 5pm and we had finished our mains by 6pm. Waitress asked if we wanted desserts, which we did not, and then stated she would bring us the bill, without us asking. We paid the bill and continued to sit at our table to finish the half a bottle of wine we had left. We could see the waitress watching our table as we clearly were not drinking fast enough. She came over to our table in silence and picked up the half bottle of wine in the cooler, before tipping it into our glasses without asking - finishing the bottle. We had not wanted our glasses refilled yet as we were savouring the wine as it was not a cheap bottle. Our glasses also did not need refilling. It was clear they wanted us out. Been to Romazzino’s a few times since it has moved from love lane and the service has never been the same. Staff are always unwelcoming, grumpy and poor customer service. This is the second time in a few months we have had poor service. There is however there are two younger waitress with ginger hair and brown hair who both have good customer service. They are the only positives.

Nice restaurant setup, quick service but disappointed with the food starter salad not fresh,main course average and staff seemed to be in a hurry for the table which doesn’t make you feel welcome.

Visited with friends and can’t recommend this lovely restaurant enough. Everything was superb. The staff the food the atmosphere !! We will be returning as much as possible in the future

The restaurant was vibrant, the female staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was diabolical, the wine was good. But unfortunately the food let the whole place down. The calamari starter was bad, rubbery and bland. The special was fish and a plate of potatoes. I won’t be going again

Absolute fantastic restaurant and atmosphere, I think our host was called Sue…exceptional host and very attentive to our needs. 5* rating, will definitely be back! Food was outstanding I must say!

Very slow service. Was looking forward to desert and coffee but ran out of time due to length of time to serve courses. Staff did not appear friendly or really keen to serve you. But on a positive note when the food was served it was delicious which is why I've not given a review of just 1. I'd been to Romazzinos several times previously so hope this was an exception.

We had a girls night at Rommazino, a variety of dishes ordered. Carbonara was spot on. Tiramisu and cannoli were fab but enormous portions.

What a great evening, we arrived and shown straight to our table, and within 5 minutes asked what drinks we would like to order. The restaurant was very busy the ambiance buzzing. The service all night was top draw very attentive and eager to please. The food quality was excellent, and they also offer a good choice of wines with a broad range of prices… We will be back soon. We had a table booked for 2pm. We arrived at 1.48pm. Entered the restaurant and the host (Italian male) asked for my details etc and stated ‘you’re early, it’s not ready’. I am not sure who arrives for their table bang on time and thinking that he should be aware people arrive early this took me by total surprise. Rather than him offering, I had to ask if it was ok if we waited in the empty bar area. It was also raining heavily outside so I’m not sure what he expected me and my two children to do whilst we waited for the table. Sat at a table in the bar, were given food menus and we asked if we wanted to order drinks, then the same man came to get us appropriately 3 minutes later to say the table is ready. Had to upheave 4 people, bags, coats etc so couldn’t carry the menus we had been given. Nobody offered us more menus so after sitting there for about 10 minutes we had to request some to be brought to us. The rest of the service staff were lovely. The two ladies in particular. Food was disappointing and wait times were odd. The table next to us ordered before us and got their starters first but then had to wait until after we’d had our main to receive theirs. We also waited about 20 minutes for the kid’s desert. All in all, after looking forward to our visit, i would deem it disappointing and we won’t be returning. Such as shame as we live in a small town and theres no that much choice in venues but i’d rather stick to what i know that waste my money on sub standard.

My arrancino was luke warm, the pizza garlic bread was average to say the least, luke warm and the dough was soggy, the meals had obviously been sat in the kitchen for 10 minutes before delivering to the table. My daughter is a slow eater but i was still very surprised that the mains were delivered to the table whilst she was still eating her starter, it was placed on the table next to her, no pressure to eat faster. My lamb pasta was tasty but almost cold, i told the waiter politely that my meal was cold, he said " take the salad off your dish it will get soggy in the oven" I thought they might have replaced the meal but it was obviously just pinged in the microwave. It arrived back warm in the middle and cold around the edge, at this point i couldn't be bothered to say anything. I told the waiter the meal was poor and i was told by him "we do a lot of things right but sometime it goes wrong, i will tell the chef", Thanks for that! It was my Birthday and we left disappointed, i didn't want discount just a hot meal, which was not delivered. Service ok and the red wine was good.

We booked here travelling from Shrewsbury for a birthday afternoon lunch and it was so worth it. Ordered a sharer platter to start with and some olives and bread, then two main courses. The sharer platter was beautiful, really fresh tasting and the main courses were really tasty too. Enjoyed a nice bottle of wine and fantastic service.

Had a meal here for the first time this evening with my husband. Fabulous atmosphere, attentive service from friendly staff. The food was delicious, cooked to perfection and good size portions. Will definitely be returning. Thank you to the head chef Darren and the wonderful team at Romazzino. Unfortunately we didn’t take any photos of the food because we were too busy eating it 😊

Second time we have visited this fantastic restaurant. As with the first visit the experience was fantastic. The food delicious, staff lovely and friendly with a great atmosphere to the establishment. This meal was shared with friends in our first double date and funnily enough both couples recommended the restaurant to eachother which delivered to a high standard yet again! We will be going back, we will recommend to friends and for those looking to woo a pretty lady or handsome fella it makes for a great first, second or even third date!

Have been going here since they were in Love Lane. Food wonderful, the chefs are amazing, service mostly fabulous. Birthday night ruined, however, by rude owner (possibly owner’s son/relative as we have been going for years and the older italian guy wouldn’t have seen this kind of service in a million years.) was rude rude rude. Clearly felt like he did not need our business. Shame for the professional, well trained staff who didn’t receive a tip because their ‘boss’ was an entitled fool. He will be slowly losing each and ever regular just as he has done with us all and our families. What a shame to tank such a business that the old guy worked so hard on for years. 😩😩😩.

Food is always good here but has got a lot more expensive this past year Shame about the brusk customer service from the front of house staff. They seemed like they really couldn’t be bothered if we were there or not which is a bad way to start your evening.

Absolutely lovely. Definitely felt like a proper treat and will definitely be back. This place it the kind of place we would come for a special tea out.

Somewhat average and certainly not as good as some reviews make it appear. My veal was only just warm on arrival and cold by the time that the front door had been opened a few times to let in the minus 5 weather. The female members of staff were cheery and had some wit. The older male members of staff seemed sullen and unhappy in their work. When a table has spent over £400 perhaps a small farewell is the norm. Have definitely had much nicer for the price. Disappointing!

Fantastic meal, excellent service. We were a group of 4, we had 3 courses each and every dish was delicious. I would particularly recommend the seafood linguine. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Booked a table for lunch. Had the sharing platter for two, the land one. Good variety of food on the platter. Then we ordered two pizzas. The base was bubbly and crispy. Ordered some of the Italian fizzy drinks. Don't order the mint one as it was like drinking mouthwash. Despite the good food, the waiter was surly and had a very strong body odour issue. This was very off putting as they leaned over the table to place down drinks and plates.

We visited for an afternoon meal with our granddaughter for her 21st. We definitely made the right choice, a friendly welcome on arrival , great service and the food was delicious and first class, the four of us had different meals and all said the same, the staff are so friendly and obliging which made our visit even more special. Thank you all so much we will definitely be visiting again.

Romazzino never fails to deliver .... amazing food (as always), so fresh, perfectly proportioned, and just lush. The seafood risotto was outstanding, and the cheese board was beautiful. Cocktails were fab. Service was efficient yet discreet. Love the fact this place is on my doorstep .... won't be long before I'm back, either with friends, family, or solo. Can't recommend highly enough. Love it.

We wanted an early dinner as we were going to the Words and Music Festival. At 6pm the place was fairly quiet but by the time we left at 7.10 it was buzzing. Good food, I had Cod wrapped in Serrano ham and my wife chose the Veal Saltimbocca. Both were excellent, as were the Barbera d’Asti and the Berra Messina. Had the calamari, lasagna and the paccheri al pistachio. Great location, the food was a little bit disappointing. Calamari dipping sauce is really spicy. The lasagna wasn't the best with quite a basic tomato sauce. The paccheri pasta sauce tasted like hummus.

We had the most delicious food at Romazzinos last night. The Ravioli was amazing and the unnecessary bowl of chips were fought over! The children’s portions were healthy but not over facing. We will return.
