The best restaurants serving Italian food in Bolton North West

Wonderful authentic Italian food. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Can’t fault the service. Even the toilets were immaculate.

Only people in on a Friday evening -very strange. Waiter did his best to make us feel comfortable but it was odd being the only ones there. Although food was good the vegetables included with the meal were very sparse. We would certainly have ordered more had we realised how little we were getting. There was also quite a long wait between courses -certainly wasn't due to the chef being busy! Overall a good meal though.

Advertised as Fish Finger and Tartar Sauce Panini which sounded good but what was served was extremely poor. Poor quality fish finger with grey fish, cheap panini, limp salad with low cost tasteless frozen chips. I wouldnt serve that meal to a child never mind ask for money for it! To add further insult 2 x fish panini meal, tea & a water cost just short of £26.00 which is absolutely shocking! Definitely won’t be returning

We visited as a table of 8 for a works do. Great food, portions are huge and everyone's meals were tasty. We all had starters and mains with drinks and it was very reasonably priced. Service was fast however could be a bit more friendly and remember to smile. Other than that would highly recommend to visit

Visited for my wife's birthday, the food, and especially the the service from Leanne was first class we loved the whole experience

Amazing food as always not changed in 20 years standard wise nothing as good in the North west for quality recipes.

Staff were rude. Shannon was especially rude and arrogant. Everything too much trouble just stood about chatting to other staff while the food on the side going cold!

We haven't been for a while to this lovely Italian. The Restraunt has a a refresh and is bright and welcoming. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food. Amazing food, we had the crayfish and crab ravioli and garlic mushrooms. The best garlic bread we have ever had. Amazing service and a special mention (nott a "shout out" as I'm English) to Katie, smiling and professional throughout and a credit to the Restraunt, thank you.

SO disappointed with our recent takeway. Used to be such a great pizza/paste place, always hot, fresh and authentic. Tonight, our pizza looked incredibly unappetizing, covered in orange cheese (presumably cheddar) lacking tomato sauce and with mimimal, low quality toppings. The pasta was supposed to have a bolognese sauce however was nothing like this and seemed to have been made with turkey and was inedible. A complete waste of money and really shocked at the decline of a once fantastic pizza takeaway.

Stayed here for one night, comfortable clean rooms. Good food and well kept beer. Fantastic walking in the area.

Absolute joke of a place. Came here for Mother’s Day. Had a booking for 7pm, waited 50 minutes outside for our table, the queue was out the car park for people that had reservations. No exaggeration. We were seated on a makeshift table opposite the patio doors in the way of the waiters and people walking through, it was for a table for 4 but we’re were a book my fo 6, we asked the manager if we could be moved as we had a baby in a highchair that kept being knocked into to which he said “in an ideal world I would move you but I can’t” we persevered. Drinks order was taken twice by two different waiters, then another waiter came to ask for the drinks order. Drinks came at 8:30. Food then followed at 9:15 we had one round of drinks all night, no waiters came to check, we did ask one waiter who never returned. Was asked for deserts by 3 different waiters again, asked for the bill off the manager who was sat at the bar drinking pints, and carried on until we approached and asked for the bill again. Took the mic, and he didn’t care.. genuinely never experienced such poor service. There’s no organisation at all. Such a shame I have been before and had no complaints. I felt embarrassed that I brought my mother in law, I’ll never come back again.

Excellent as always,never had a bad experience here. It was a first visit for my partner and his mum, neither of them was disappointed. My mother in law decided that this is her new favourite restaurant! My partner can't wait to come back. Not only is the food amazing, the service is impeccable, the staff couldn't be more pleasant and helpful. 10/10.

Me and the family love this place. Have been going for years and never had a bad meal. Prices are reasonable and the food quality is spot on. Drinks are a bit on the expensive side but hey when you have an experience like what they give you I’ll swallow it! Can’t fault them I really can’t. Customer service always great. If you’re thinking of giving them a try you won’t be disappointed!

April 2023 Very disappointed in my experience at Prezzo. My daughter who is 7 ordered a child's menu spaghetti and informed me she had metal in her mouth. Spat the metal out and yes there was a big sharp piece of metal in her food. Very large lump. Very concerned this could have been very dangerous if she had swollowed or ingested the metal. Informed the waiter. Had to ask for the plate to be removed and new food ordered. No apology from the chef or senior management which I would expect from a serious incident. No concern or reassurance provided for my daughter that was very distressed from metal hurting her teeth. Extremely concerned about the experience.
