April 2023 Very disappointed in my experience at Prezzo. My daughter who is 7 ordered a child's menu spaghetti and informed me she had metal in her mouth. Spat the metal out and yes there was a big sharp piece of metal in her food. Very large lump. Very concerned this could have been very dangerous if she had swollowed or ingested the metal. Informed the waiter. Had to ask for the plate to be removed and new food ordered. No apology from the chef or senior management which I would expect from a serious incident. No concern or reassurance provided for my daughter that was very distressed from metal hurting her teeth. Extremely concerned about the experience.

Not the best, food was cold and lots of things weren’t available. I found the waitress a little rude to be honest, especially when we queried the service charge, a 365 bill became 410 without even been asked. We always tip but this is little presumptuous. We were sat in the outside part of the restaurant which was freezing. Sorry but not for me and won’t be re visiting.

Dined here this afternoon and had lovely food and great service from Will & Nicole. A very relaxing family get together.

A modern and bright environment. Staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful, particularly the manager. We really enjoyed the food.

After reading some of the reviews I was a little cautious, to say the least, about trying this place. However my friend said she had been here several times and never had a problem, so in we went and I have to say I was and we did. I personally don't like pasta so had the Prezzo burger which was delicious! Followed by a very decent sticky toffee pudding. The service all the way through was excellent, no complaints there at all. Will definitely visit again and hopefully will have another very positive experience.

Staff was very rude from the start . When I ordered a bottle of wine I was told that I have to look 25 to be served alcohol . My 20 years old son was asked for an ID and the barman was asking for our nationality . When I asked him why is he asked by for my nationality he walked away . Fair enough asking for an ID , but why do you need to know my nationality ?! What are you a police officer?! Afterwards the barman and the waitress were loudly talking about us , which made us feel very uncomfortable. The waitress was loudly saying that she didn't wanted to serve us , I don't know why ?! Food wasn't bad but customer service absolutely shocking 😲! All this happened last night 21/08/2022

Our greeting waitress Melinda was lovely. The manager was brusque and unhelpful and actually very unfriendly . Vegan bolognese still on menu but portion size a couple of spoonfuls of sauce and lukewarm. Had to chase manager for spoons. She just dumped plates on table. It wasn't busy so no excuse. Wish we could have kept Melinda. Very expensive too. I was still hungry after. Will not be returning. So disappointed . Previous visits were exceptional.

Literally the slowest service I have ever experienced. There were only about 6 tables in and more staff than customers yet we had to wait half an hour for our starters and 10 minutes whenever our plates wanted clearing. The staff just mope around. They don’t offer parmesan on your pasta either which is annoying :)

The five starts is entirely for Belinda…. What a refreshing and attentive person! The restaurant itself is lovely…. food order was slightly wrong vs what we ordered….. However Belinda saved the day and was the reason we had such an enjoyable evening…. Prezzo you should be very appreciative and proud of the asset you have in this woman….. Her smile did not fade once and she didn’t take a single second to rest. She was the heartbeat of the entire restaurant making sure everyone was looked after and taken care of…. It’s not often one person makes such an impression….. Thank you Belinda xxx

Two of us enjoyed a three course meal here we had deep fried mozzarella with a tomato dip, a small Margarita pizza with a side salad, a chicken Caesar salad and two chocolate tarts, and a couple of Pieroni’s to go with the meal.

Great service, food came quick and food quality was lovely. Staff were very pleasant and chatty, very accommodating. Been here a few times now, the pasta dishes are always good. I asked one of the ladies who cooked up my meal and they said it was Chris. I came up to the pass and thanked him personally. Will be coming back again. Thank you Prezzo and team.

Used to love it here. Not anymore! The food had gone downhill and the new male manager has no customer service skills what’s so ever, very rude and unhelpful I won’t be spending my money here again I would have gave it zero stars if I could but I had to press one to continue with my review !

Been here once before and it was gorgeous! Second time not the best,sat in a booth (great idea) until we realised it was near the toilets,not great when you’re eating,service wasn’t great to be honest,very slow,but apparently members of staff were hungover…no excuse really and not very professional to be telling customers this.? Especially whilst we was sat with dirty plates,empty drinks and no check back,we even looked online for a dessert menu as we waited that long for anyone to come over,it was busy and I understand that,but staff being hungover is no excuse

Went for an early eve meal pre cinema. Waitress (Rachel) was super helpful, friendly and efficient. Food came promptly, good and hot. No rush, but plenty of time to make the film. All was good, no problems at all. Would happily return.

Feb 2020 Tuesday tea with my wife 10 people dinning I ordered pasta al la rustica didn’t have to wait long , my plate was cold and cold food sent it back , food came back 3 minutes late after being in the microwave it was warm but about has flavoursome as cardboard left half of it. My wife had char grilled chicken salad! Chicken over cooked no taste I don’t know who employs the chefs here but must be blind and have no taste buds! Will not be returning! Poor,poor,!

Already pre-Booked a table..arrived very busy..kids half term lunch service..got drinks..no sign of food after an hour..noticed not many staff and not much food coming out for anyone really..complained twice as we had cinema tickets booked..if we had been told there was a long wait we could have gone elsewhere..it was only margarita pizzas! Not much communication.. Waitress attitude was its not my fault and she cant make it come any quicker. Fabulous. We had to leave as would have missed the film and got the kids nachos at the cinema. Would not go back Poor.

My husband and I walked in without reservation, we were greeted with “just to let you know we run out of dough, no pizza, no king prawns, no garlic bread etc”. What a warm welcome. Restaurant closes at 11pm but 10pm the staff were moving chairs, spraying tables and taking rubbish bags out. We felt like they wanted us out ASAP.Awful evening, average food, good Bellini. We won’t be coming back, better places around.

First time visiting Prezzo, Bolton and pleasantly surprised. Rachel attended to me and my son and she is an absolute credit to the restaurant. She provided and exemplary waiting service. She was friendly, informative regarding the menu and attentive to our dietary needs. We will be returning soon and recommending to our friends and family. Lovely atmosphere. Very impressed.

The food was very good this evening, however the real highlight was the service. Shannon was fantastic and really made sure our evening was special. Thanks!

To start with, I do like Prezzo. On this visit the food was excellent, as usual, but the service was poor. It was 27 December so I expected it to be busy, but in reality the restaurant was less than half full. Must have been staff shortages maybe, but service was extremely slow. Just one warning note. Perhaps I should have read my bill more clearly, but I often leave a tip and did again this time (though because of slow service the tip was lower than I normally leave). It was only when I got home that I found a 10% Service Charge had been added - £21.68!!

Quickly seated in the nice atmosphere of the restaurant. Food was nice and received fairly pronto. Stuffed mushrooms-some of the best I've had in a while! When the bill came I was shocked to see that the 2 meals on the set menu deal and 2 drinks came to £68. Which was not the case and we had been charged £25 extra for meals we hadn't ordered!! Mentioned this to staff who investigated and rectified after a delay. No apology mind. Young waitress behind the bar was seen on a number of occasions to touch her face and hair which wasnt tied back and then deal with the glass wear and pouring drinks. Can we implement that we wash our hands after touching our face/hair and have our hair tied back? Isnt that basic food hygiene?!

Last time we went didn’t have a great overall experience however Rachel who has been there only 5 or so months has restored my faith in the “Genuine Person”. Absolutely fantastic tonight. Looked after us. Couldn’t do enough for us. Playing with the kids had a great night. Defo a keeper there guys. Keep it up Rach. Thank you once again for a real personal and pleasant evening at Prezzo Bolton. Food as always Great. So will defo he going back

Went for lunch today and overall had a really pleasant experience.

Looking forward to a lovely meal on Christmas Eve. Don’t go to Prezzo Bolton Service diabolical, they had also run out of spaghetti amongst other things! Waited 25 mins for drinks and had to go to the bar to remind them! Food order arrived incorrectly told it would be 3 mins to change it my partner had eaten his before mine arrived ! Needless to say no tip tonight.! Won’t be visiting this Prezzo again!

Food on the whole was good, but not brilliant. The service was shocking, the basics were just not there.We had booked a table for 5 for 6.30pm tonight, we got there and was told it was not ready the table had to be cleaned which was fair enough could we wait whilst that was done which was fine. 10 mins later table was ready but waitress had cleaned it and wiped all remnants onto the seat so we had to clean the seats of with our napkins before we sat down. We then ordered our drinks and food. The starters arrived before our drinks and we had finished the starter before we had to go to the bar to find out where our drinks where. The waitress then said I only bring them once they had been served but she would go and help behind the bar but to get our drinks to us. Fair play I thought but she then came back and said barrel had gone would we like to wait for it to be changed. We were now 45 minutes into our dining experience. Drinks eventually arrived a few minutes before our main course which was good. We then ate the main course and towards the end off it requested another round of drinks nobody approached us with our empty glasses. Waitress then joked are you sure you may be leaving before you get them. 15 minutes later they arrived. We then had to request the menus so we could order desserts and then had to approach the bar so we could pay the bill. A truly terrible service experience which could have been so much better had the basics just been done. Another table also had to go to the bar to request there drinks they had ordered and they had not come he joked you have waited so long you will enjoy them so much

Fabulous food yet again! Shannon is the nicest waitress EVER! Second time she has served us and she is amazing, always advises us well and is lots of fun. We will be back

Visited for the first time today with my son, food was very very average we had Chicken Spaghetti Carbonara Al Forno, Spaghetti Carbonara and a garlic bread to share. Not much chicken and not much flavour to the dish, my sons had plenty of pancetta but no really a creamy sauce and the garlic bread looked like it had seen a ghost it was so pale! I suspect they forgot it and tried to cook it quickly after serving our spaghetti. Service was fine but given the quality of the food and the price sadly we won't be back.

Went for our work Christmas get together. Due to some people drinking and some not we thought it was only fair to go to the bar to buy our drinks individually but we’re told we couldn’t do this. Last time we were there we could so very disappointing. A few of us ordered calamari for starter and we all agreed it was bland, greasy and cold. 3 of us had goats cheese and peppers pizza. Mine was pale and didn’t look cooked and the 2 others were very dark in places however it was nice. When it came to paying we had a 30% discount voucher which we had shown the manager at the start of the meal but then when we got the bill the manager told us we could only have the discount off food ordered off the main menu not the Christmas set menu. The manager then left for the night. After reading over the voucher nowhere did it say you couldn’t have it off the Christmas menu so we challenge this and they agreed and knocked the discount off the whole bill. All in all some of the food was nice, some was very poor but the waitresses where great so at least there was something positive. We have been here 3 times before and it’s always been great but I think that will be the last time we go. Disappointing!

Booked a meal for 15 of us here.... Tara looked after us all night and was lovely! We all had 3 courses each which were served with perfect times for each course! Highly recommended for any meal business or pleasure! Thanks again Prezzo Bolton for Xmas 2019!

We had a wonderful time at Prezzo today. The food was tasty and the service was fantastic. The waitress who served us was amazing with the table of 9 7-year olds and her and the other staff were helpful, attentive and friendly to us all throughout our visit. It was the perfect place for our celebrations. Thanks so much

This was our third visit. Food was great, waitress very accommodating and we were made to feel welcome (as always). Restaurants located in the vaults are a bit out-of-the-way but we felt that the visit was worth it. We mentioned to the waitress that we had a discount voucher (actually we had two different vouchers found on the internet). Our waitress explained the different effects of the vouchers (1 gave 20% off all round, another gave 2 for 1 main meals) She also pointed out another offer available. We made our choices and ate a hearty meal. When it came to the bill, she applied each different offer and charged us the lowest. Now how can you find fault in that. Well be back again (next week I think)

Went to the Vault for the first time and with so many lovely places it was difficult to choose. But we did choose Prezzo and were really glad we did. The staff were very accommodating, friendly and nothing was too much work for them. We had the tastiest pizza and beer in stunning surroundings. I would highly reccommend it.

The food was great as always, im a regular customer now. The staff are always nice and friendly, especially Belinda and Shannon. They always make me and my friends feel welcome. The food is nice and fresh, never had a bad meal here. Can't praise the staff and food enough.

Visited the restauraut yesterday evening, was disappointed with whole experience would not return . Food was very average and overpriced, nothing special on menu you probably couldnt make yourself at home.

Ate here after a visit from the cinema. We were greeted and seated quickly, the restaurant was quite but it were only a Thursday evening. Our waitress Rachel took our order quickly and had a lovely friendly attitude. Garlic bread was rolled super thin making it lovely and crispy. We had a selection of pastas and pizzas as our mains which were lovely and tasty with the crispy pancetta actually being crispy. We finished off with coffees. A lovely meal with great service.

went for lunch with the family today and although only about a third of the tables were in use it took an age for the food to arrive. Customers were being turned away because they were being advised of long waiting times for food. Felt sorry for the staff as they were trying their best. The table next to us had to leave after just having their starters because they had been in there an hour by that point and had to be somewhere at least they were not charged. When the food came after around an hour and a half it was nothing special - we all had pizzas. We were only charged 50% of the bill but that didn't really make up for us losing half our afternoon in there. No way to run a business really and a lot of customers who were turned away went straight accross the way to Nondo's.

Waiting staff not very attentive, empty restaurant and they stood around chatting. Nice food but won’t be returning as dinner took a lot longer because of the length of time it took for drinks/deserts. Other people who has visited this location have said the same.

It was our first time at Prezzo and we felt very welcome, the food was delicious and the place very comfy.

I visited the restaurant on a Saturday lunch time after a cinema visit. I spoke to the duty manager about a concern I had . She dealt with the issue effectively and efficiently and I have great regard for her customer service skills and she is an asset to her employers .

I can't say a bad thing about the restaurant, service or staff. It was amazing the food was amazing too. The staff was very helpful and really friendly. They made us feel at home as this was our first visit too and the restaurant was very clean too. I would highly recommend this place

Just visited the restaurant. What can we say apart from a great experience. Food was great but the thing that really stood out for us today was the service. It was a new waitress that served us (SamH in receipt) All we can say is she is a real credit. Great attitude, nothing too much trouble and took time to engage with our daughter as well. If all staff in restaurants were as good as her we’d eat our every day.

The food was okay, like it was nice. Especially the desert.

Went for lunch because my wife was sent an email for a free bottle of fizz because it was her birthday. Had a gerat meal with great service. We are regular customers and always find the food to be fantastic. I have coeliac disease and love that there are so many gluten free choices available. Gluten free food is amazing here too and great value, especially when using the often available online offers. Husband also loves the "normal" food as he calls it. Situated in the vaults, the surroundings are lovely. It always seems to be quiet which is a shame, but this seems tl be the vaults in general as its mostly quiet down there. Friendly staff, great service and lovely food. What more could we need? :)

Called in here on a Tuesday night - ate off a special menu as we had a voucher, al la little uninspiring off this menu. The place itself whilst look's very nice is somewhat devoid of any atmosphere ( the whole vaults area seemed empty - which is a shame )

Working up in Bolton for a couple of days and stumbled across Prezzo in The Market Place. So good I visited every night of my stay. Belinda was really good looking after me and Sam’s Posh Pepperoni Pizza was superb. Well done and thanks very much

We received a lovely welcome as always from Belinda, who also looked after us really well throughout our visit. Prezzo do amazing tasty fresh salads & our cheesecake desserts were delicious.

Went here today for our lunch. Such a nice place. We felt welcomed from the start. The service was brilliant and each one who served us were lovely. The food was delicious. We will be back again soon!

Went to Prezzo last night, lovely place, we had booked a table, which was a good job as the place was busy, had a lovely starter , king prawns in spicy tomato, very tasty, the beef ragui Alla Bologna, beautiful and very tasty, our evening was made all the better by our lovely server/ waitress , not sure what the correct wording is now , she was called Ainsley, very pre and chatty , very charming, always checking that everything was ok , top marks for Ainsley well done, and thanks for a lovely time

Staff were friendly and efficient. The food we had was really nice and the waitress was very helpful in making sure that we were able to use the discount voucher we had which wasn’t applicable to some of the dishes. Thanks Ainsley! Great service 😀

Visited tonight to celebrate a special occasion with my wife, children and extended family, and it was a really disappointing visit. The food ranged from poor to average, the staff were quite aggressive when bringing food out, shouting the items at us like Gordon Ramsey in a kitchen, and the atmosphere, lighting and volume was totally unsuitable for our daughter who has autism. It was incredibly noisy and stressful for her, and it made for a very difficult visit. When we arrived we were told we'd need to sit in the outside area due to the inside being busy - it wasn't, and actually sitting inside would have been far better, but we weren't offered this option when we explained that our daughter was struggling. We've visited before and found it lovely, but based on this visit we won't be going back.

Fab service - at Prezzo Bolton thank you Mirabel you made our visit extra special. Food was great. Will be eating there again soon.

Went for a meal on 16th July 2019, good pizza and a large glass of merlot. Just finished when fire alarm sounded. We were escorted out of the building by Maribel and Shannon in a very calm and organised way, but I left my phone on the table. After 20 minutes or so, the staff were allowed back into the building and I asked Maribel to keep my phone safe. We were then able to return to our tables. Maribel and Shannon looked after my phone, and the staff at Prezzo gave me a large glass on Malbec on the house to make up for the inconvenience. Very impressed with the way Maribel and Shannon handled this situation, which was caused by some youths setting off the fire alarms, but the staff didn't know this and dealt with it in a calm and professional way. So well done for keeping us all safe - and the pizza, wine and affogato were all good as well!

This is the first time we have visited the Vaults and Prezzo. The Vaults itself looks fantastic and really wouldn't expect it under the shopping centre.

Served by the friendly Maribel we started with pizza bites. A perfect partner to the garlic dip. Sadly no calamari available for starters. I had the king prawn and salmon risotto which was tasty. Would recommend.

My fiend and I visited on Kids Iron Man evening so it was extremely busy and the staff where clearly under pressure. That said our waitress Belinda, gave us 5* treatment, ensuring we were sat in a suitable area for our needs, advising on menus choices and taking the time to chat and be friendly. The food was great, the service was better. Well done Belinda if only all waitress’s had your professionalism, you’re a credit to the prezzo name.

Dinner tonight, we booked for 5:30pm and arrived about 15 minutes early but they were happy to seat us straight away.

I booked a party of 38 for a work Retirement celebration. Food was excellent and so was the service. Special thanks to Belinda who looked after us so well.

My daughter and I went for a meal here before we went to watch the Westlife concert at the cinema. This was our second visit to Prezzo and it has a lovely friendly atmosphere and our waitress, Belinda, was very attentive and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her! The food was lovely and we will definitely be going back and would highly recommend a visit to Prezzo!

My boyfriend and I went for a meal here and it is a lovely atmosphere. Our waitress, Caitlin was very attentive and gave excellent service! The food was lovely. One of the meals needed changing and they were more than happy to do so. We will definitely be going back there!

Maribel is the best waitress! The service was at the very high level, we felt welcomed and the Polish chef cooked divine pasta for us! I'm sure I'll visit this place again.

We showed up with a group of 9 and were seated promptly. Belinda was our server and she was hospitable, polite, and very professional. Our food came out quickly and very fresh and yummy. Kamil and Dawid were our chefs and they did an incredible job. All our food was delicious. Everything came out at the same time. 10/10. Was the best meal I'd eaten while visiting England. Would dine at Prezzo again.

We had booked online for 6.30pm but at 5.30 found ourselves at a lose end. Staff accommodated us earlier than we had booked and looked after us well. The waitresses and waiters, especially Belinda, were attentive without fussing us and were very patient with our ordering!

The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were so helpful. Best place to have a family tea by far. The starters were delicious and the mains even better. The pudding was great! By far the best part was the waiters, world class! So kind and cooperative and really funny.

Lovely meal as usual great service thanks to Shannon for her hard work and advice. We have never had a bad meal here thanks to the chefs who never seemed to be mentioned 😀
