Sicilia Mia in Bolton

SO disappointed with our recent takeway. Used to be such a great pizza/paste place, always hot, fresh and authentic. Tonight, our pizza looked incredibly unappetizing, covered in orange cheese (presumably cheddar) lacking tomato sauce and with mimimal, low quality toppings. The pasta was supposed to have a bolognese sauce however was nothing like this and seemed to have been made with turkey and was inedible. A complete waste of money and really shocked at the decline of a once fantastic pizza takeaway.

Not sure what had happened,the food here is usually very good, but tonight it was disappointing. The menu was the same but the food tasted bland and cheap and not of the usual high quality expected. Not sure if there has been a change of ownership or chef but it certainly wasn’t the same high quality that we’ve come to expect. Hope it’s a blip and normal level of quality will return soon. Although definitely put off returning based on last experience

Received our order and have to say mightily disappointed 😫 we have ordered many times and the food is fabulous but todays was not great !! The pasta dish was dry,bland,cold and contained 3 prawns which in my opinion where not really king size, the chicken strips were tough and chewy, the breaded mushrooms were soggy and the pizza although a regular was ordered was tiny with very few toppings on…hoping this is a one off or a blip as the food is normally fantastic…!!!

Always been satisfied with our choices but today was poor, choose sea food pasta which ive had before on many occasions but was very disappointed this time. Usually a good selection of seafood but today 4 prawns. Not acceptable.. Seems new partial oweners are putting profits over quality. I will not be visiting again..

Amazing authentic Italian food. You will not find a better Italian takeaway in Bolton. Restaurant quality food you can eat at home. This takeaway is not hit and miss like many others. My family have been impressed over and again with the consistency of quality and service at Sicilia Mia. It is always a hit in our house! We have never had a bad meal from here. Great portions, beautiful tasting pasta dishes and fresh pizza bases with plenty of yummy toppings. Delivery always arrives hot and fresh as if it’s only just left the kitchen. We could not ask for more. I have not had a single reason to complain in over 6 months of ordering from here. If you are a fan of authentic, tasty and fresh Italian food you need to try Sicilia Mia! You won’t be dusappointed! Keep up the good work Sicilia Mia team, you’re awesome!

We had a Sicilia Mia takeaway and we were incredibly impressed!! Very fast delivery, great prices and completely delicious food. The Sicilia Mia special garlic bread with anchovies is a must! Would highly recommend.

Well, what an amazing find! I had aubergine starter and my husband had garlic mushrooms. Fantastic. We then had lasagne and bolognese pasta dish with were absolutely delicious! The only thing is we forgot to give a tip to the driver ! We will definitely order again! Wonderful food

First time hear, ordered Carbonara (very authentic). And Prawn Risotto again authentic. Really pleased

Tried this place for the first time last week and wow what a pleasant surprise, the arancini were exquisite and the pizzas the best takeaway wise we've had in Bolton

Very dissatisfied! The cook was supposed to be Italian, but let’s be serious .. what Italian cook uses ham instead of prosciutto on a pizza?!? The overall ordered food wasn’t how everyone praised !

In a town where there are dozens of pizza shops it is one of the cleaner and nicer ones, you can watch the pizza being made. The crust is a little stodgy but other than that it is pretty much like most other places, okay but nothing special. I was charged £9 for a standard pizza, a price that I just couldn't see any pizza on the menu at. Parking is tight as this is on a main road.

Tastiest Pizza i've had in a long time. And the Funghi Ripieni were delicious. 100 times nicer than your average kebab shop pizza

We frequently visit Italian restaurants for authentic pizza. Takeaway pizza simply cannot compete.......until now. Sicilia Mia serve the best pizza I have ever eaten from a takeaway. We also ordered Arancina and patate al pomodoro (potatoes in home made tomato sauce) and they were immense. What a fabulous experience. 10 out of 10.

The food here is amazing. It is restaurant quality! The pizza is amazing and the Arancini is excellent. Would definitely recommend. I am never getting pizza from a pizza/kebab shop ever again.

I always order from them and always like it. They make honest pizza and reasonably priced. Cigliegino is my favorite pizza there. Thin crust and quality toppings.

Ordered 4 takeaway pizzas after a friend recommended. I can see the pizzas would be good if they weren't burnt. A bit of a disappointment.

Great, authentic Italian food. Great for special occasions. Pasta dishes are good, chicken dishes are outstanding.

This is like a restaurant quality food, but a takeaway. The pizzas are wafer thin, and the pasta dishes are amazing. The chef and owner will make you anything you want and nothing is too much trouble. Bellisimo !!!!!

Amazing food and excellent customer service. Highly recommend the chicken in creamy mushroom sauce and the chicken in chilli sauce! Worth every penny.

Probably the best pizza/pasta takeaway place in Bolton; both authentic and quick to be delivered. If I need an Italian takeaway I always come here

Not your usual pizza and donner kebab place. The food here is amazing! Proper Italian, like something you would have in a posh restaurant but in the comfort of your own home. Thank you!!!!

Just order for curiosity an "Arancina spinaci mozzarella e funghi", was very delicious and i will definitely visit again. Inside the takeaway the atmosphere is lovely a little sicilian place in bolton

You can tell these guys care about the quality of their food - as opposed to 99% of other take aways around the area! Delicious, authentic pizza and lovely staff! Thanks to the guy who delivered my pizza last night! :) from now on, any time I want a pizza, I'm getting it from here!

Just finished a yummy pizza & tomato garlic bread from the new Sicilia Italia on Chorley New Road. The taste far exceeds other pizzas from local establishments & would go as far as saying restaurant quality on taste. Both were slightly overcooked with black crusts which made the dough base a bit chewy but the flavour was so good I would def try again! Delivery came within 30 mins on a Thurs evening.
