The best restaurants serving Italian food in North East

Been to this place a few times as a family of 3 but came as part of a larger group today and could not fault this wonderful pub, the staff are all super friendly and helpful the food is 10/10 and plentyful the portion sizes are huge but so delicious.. the adults in our group all had Sunday lunches which we can not recommend enough and the kids had pasta again must have been delicious as they cleared their plates .. If you are looking for good food in a friendly comfortable place this is the place to.go

Hice un pedido por teléfono, la persona que tomó mi pedido me pidió que lo repitiera tres veces debido a tener una conversación con otra persona al mismo tiempo. Llamaron y me dijeron las mujeres clientelares que no paraban de referirse a mí como “cariño” esto es lo que ordené cuando en mi opinión era el orden equivocado que obviamente se disputaba. La comida era muy pobre, evita.

This used to be a brilliant restaurant. But sorry to say it's gone downhill. We were a family of 6 with a baby and tried to sit us right in the sun. In the end, they put us right out the way in a corner away from everyone. For a start, it was dead for a Thursday night, and the food (steak) was poor and had to be returned. Here's a few tips. 1. Make people feel welcome. Chat and have some rapport with your customers. 2. Get your order correct so it all arrives. 3. Train your staff. Don't stretch over to put down food or put out drinks. 4. Respond to requests. 5. Have some background music on so it has an atmosphere other than a grave yard. Sorry to say we won't be back until we heard better reviews.

First Time we have used this restaurant for a take away pizza, excellent staff service and very good pizza also, would recommend this establishment.

Disgusting Takeaway. Found clumps of dirty hair in the kebab, the whole family was put off from eating there food, the company owner refused to give us a full refund and said it didn't come from there which they know is a total lie. The owner from the start was rude and said at one stage 'its always new customers like you that complain'.

Nephew loves this place so we came for lunch. I was given the wrong dish. No real issue and correct one brought out. We were very surprised to have £10 taken off this bill for this. Great service. Food is decent, just book as it gets very busy. Server really made a fuss of nephew getting ice cream too, receipt says Tyler so hopefully that was her.

Ordered Sunday dinner with the trio of meats. Absolutely awesome. You could probably share between two and order an extra Yorkshire pudding as you wouldn’t want to share that. Meat is melt in the mouth.

Oh querida, escuché buenos informes sobre este lugar y fuimos viernes buen servicio y la comida era excelente. realmente disfruté de la comida, lo que nos hizo volver hoy, No me gusta dar una mala crítica, pero tristemente quienquiera que alguna vez estuvo cocinando en la cocina debería encontrar un trabajo diferente de cocinar, Pedí el pollo Kiev, ya que mi amiga dijo lo mucho que lo había disfrutado el viernes, esto fue terrible el aderezo de ajo estaba crudo y amargo y no cocinado en absoluto , si el chef (yo uso la palabra libremente) se hubiera molestado en probarlo que habría sabido. Mi amigo que cenaba conmigo pidió una hamburguesa de bistec sin queso, no solo vino sin queso, vino sin nada, sin ensalada, tomate, pepinillo, solo dos empanadas que no eran bistec, el bollo no estaba tostado así que el bollo estaba empapado podría haber mejorado de MacDonald, una lástima como primera experiencia había sido tan positiva. Si no tienen a nadie calificado para cocinar, entonces sugiero explicar a los clientes potenciales lo siento, la cocina está más cerca en lugar de dejar que quien alguna vez pierda la comida, lamentablemente no volverá
