Tasty Sunday dinner, meat nice and tender.

I ordered takeout so can't speak for the atmosphere, but the food is a step ahead in quality and flavour. The pizza was nicer than any of the takeout places I've used around the area. The delivery guy was cool too. I'd add a photo, but the food went down too quickly.

I never leave a review and the fact that I am shows how raging I am ha! The whole order was wrong. Pizza wrong. No starter, dessert or extra sauces. Potato skins sent instead of chips. So disappointed!

Sunday dinners lovely as always

Food was nice but waited 2 and a half hours. Nearly an hour late. Not ideal when you had plans to go out.

all the carbonaras had a awful taste to them. and the caesar salad, all we could taste was a awful sour taste, croutons were just chopped bread. wasted over £50 to only eat the chips & potato skins. food was binned and had to make something else which was disappointing.

Always early and prompt delivery, can’t express how tasty every sauce is meat or pasta my personal favourite is the Diane it is gorgeous, extremely fresh meat and taste is above and beyond! Better than most Italian restaurants.

Sunday Lunch delivered to you door is to die for 10/10

Had the chicken with peppercorn sauce with veg and shared a garlic bread with cheese. I literally inhaled it, it was so good!!!

Ordered some food took 1hour and 30 minutes to come! Food finally came order was wrong! When we rang up the woman on the phone tried to call me a liar and her attitude was absolutely disgusting. The proceeded to put the phone down, when I tried to phone back she would not answer the phone. Tried to phone off my husbands phone and she answered again with the worst attitude ever I honestly don’t know how she has a job because the was she speaks to people is a joke! Will not be ordered from here ever again because of this reason.

Ordered a Sunday roast delivery two and a half hours ago and still not arrived. When I called to ask when it would be delivered the woman on the phone was very rude and said she couldn't understand me and hung up, called the second time and was told it was on its way but still have not received my meal, called the 3rd time and once again was told it was o its way but still no food.

We ordered from Fabios on Saturday evening for delivery. We ordered a chicken wrap, carbonara and a garlic bread. The food took 2 hours 15 minutes to arrive and when it did eventually arrive, it was barely warm. The food on a whole was average. The chicken wrap was just okay. A lot of garlic sauce and not enough chicken, in my opinion. The carbonara was tasty, but rather oily. The garlic bread was nice and very strong.

Take out only. Very good Sunday lunch. We've never tried their Italian food.

First time ordering from here and it’s safe to say I am absolutely horrified and will NOT be returning. To begin, I found the woman on the phone to be quite abrupt. Went to collect and was just told what I owed no please or anything. I then asked if I could pay by card. I was ignored. A few moments go by and she came out with “ I told you like I’ve told everybody all day it’s cash only” she most certainly did not. But then proceeded to the pull the cash machine out when I’d said I wouldn’t have came had she said that as I don’t have any cash in me. Asked for garlic in our carbonara instead got chicken which tasted like it was 3 weeks out of date. Didn’t taste like a carbonara at all. Picked all the chicken out and tried to eat the rest but was completely put off. The minute I put the food in the car there was a strong perfume/sweet alcohol smell coming from the food. When I got home and opened the box of chips it was coming from them. I have no idea what was put in them but the taste and smell of them was horrific. The ingredients, meat especially needs looked into and I think they need to do better than the chav they have representing their buisness. Zero customer service skills at all!!

Always been a regular here, every week usually! Cajun pasta is my regular order; however, recently I haven been unable to finish my meal as the chicken has had a horrendous taste. Not just a one off either, happened twice in the space of 2 weeks. Not sure if they’ve changed supplier or I’ve just been unlucky to have to portions with terrible chicken. Hopefully they manage to fix this issue, as the food is usually delicious…

The best Italian take away in the north east. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Don't usually write reviews but thought I should do this one. First time ordering from here after struggling to find a good takeaway for a while especially Italian. I'm so glad we did! My partner and I loved it. The pizza and pasta dishes are lush and were cooked perfectly. Even the delivery driver was so friendly and didn't take long at all. Was a bit weary because of the price and first time trying it but it was absolutely worth it. Thanks a lot 😊😊

We are pretty regular weekend customers, we ordered last night directly from you rather than via just eat thinking it might benefit you, the food took the best part of 90 minutes to arrive and when it did it was cold, we called to ask for an update to be told it was with the driver and would just arrive when it does! I’m really disappointed

The food took a while to be ready but was worth the wait. The burger was great but the chips stood out and I will definitely be back

Food amazing as always! My cajun chicken pasta arrived without chicken, i called up and they apologised and within 15 minutes a full new pasta arrived at my door with chicken in, mistakes happen, cant fault the way the sorted it. The chunky chips are unreal :) thanks fabios!

Just spent £17.00 on a takeaway of garlic prawns and chips on the website. Arrived piping hot but the prawns are bland and no garlic. Got chunky chips instead of regular chips as ordered. Called them and was told that all they do is chunky chips...then why offer it on the website ? The garlic prawns used to be lovely but definitely not anymore. Disappointed for sure for the cost.

First time trying the Sunday dinners definitely won’t be the last. Loads of meat and gravy and a nice selection of vegetables well worth the money

Been looking for a nice pizza place in my area and after trying everywhere and not being happy I thought I'd try a one abit further a field and I couldn't be happier it came piping hot pizzas are lovely and proper home cooked chips will definitely be a regular from now on delivery driver was lovely too..... after a little hiccup the manager of this restaurant goes above and beyond to keep his customers happy 2nd takeaway from here piping hot taste amazing and lovely and fresh thankyou

Normally never have any issues with this restaurant as the food is always amazing and I'm a regular and loyal costumer but unfortunately after my experience on Sunday just gone, I will no longer be doing business here. Delivery driver was late due to going to wrong address as he didn't search my postcode (despite me always leaving notes on my orders that there's another address with the same as mine not far). When he called, he had a tone of voice with me like he was blaming me for him showing up at the wrong address and didn't apologise for his mistake. When the food finally came it was freezing cold, multiple items were missing from my order, some of the food was undercooked and some of the food items were damaged from what looked like it had been dropped. I tried to resolve this privately with the restaurant by my messaging them but they read my message and ignored me. I ended up claiming the money back through just eat.

Very impressed on first time of trying. Better than the last two sit down Italian restaurants I've been to. Mozzarella sticks to start, chicken risotto and the calzone. Very nice. Will return.

Thanks Fabios for lovely food tonight and a good delivery experience. Food was delivered sooner than expected and well handled, packaged well and everything was gorgeous. Pasta dish was very tasty and my daughter loved her kids bolognese meal too. Delivered fresh and hot.

This is the 2nd time I have ordered from Fabio’s, Houghton-le-Spring. Each time the food has been top quality and very tasty! I should mention though that each time I have used the pre order online facility I have experienced minor problems. My first order, in early May, arrived at the specified time but a full 24hrs early. This was sorted by Fabio’s and our meal arrived fresh and on time the following evening. Keeping in mind our previous experience I decided to pre order online but on the same day as we required our meal. The system is easy to use! I submitted the order at about 10:15 am and specified delivery for 7:15 pm that evening. However when I received a confirmation email it said our meal was ‘cooking’ and would be ‘delivered ASAP’. There was no reassuring mention of the 7:15 pm delivery that I had asked for. I had to ring Fabio’s just after 12:00 pm to confirm our delivery time. So some minor tweaking of the information sent by confirmation email would be useful. Our order did indeed arrive on time and the food was excellent.

Had a Sunday lunch. Able to pre order online, large portion and tasted fantastic. Will be trying other things from the menu soon. Forgot to take a picture as I couldn't wait to eat it.
