The best restaurants serving Italian food in South Richmond Richmond upon Thames London

This restaurant is no longer in business at this location- which is why I gave one star. I was very much looking forward to eating here since gluten- free options are often so limited. I had heard very good things about this restaurant and was disappointed to see it gone!

Whicker touring the Yorkshire Dales, we visited Richmond. This was a lovely busy little town with lots of shops and an indoor market. Everywhere seemed dog friendly.

Several Italian eateries have opened in Richmond in the past few months but this is the place to have a really good Italian meal. The owner and chef Hercules is always in the kitchen and patrolling the restaurant to make sure everything is shipshape. We have been a number of times with friends outside Richmond and they are all envious that we have this local Italian. My wife and I have been through the entire menu and we have never had a bad meal here. The place is small and intimate but by no means cramped. There is the beautiful St Marys Magdalene church within 2 minutes walk and that is worth a visit before or after lunch.

Esta fue nuestra segunda visita a este Restaurante (la última vez hace unos años), y como antes ambos optamos por la Carbonara. Incluso mejor que nuestra última visita. Increíble cómo pueden resultar tan excelente comida en una cocina tan pequeña. Muy recomendable

It is really disappointing the front service lady. We asked if we could have a table with our kids and her look was really intimidating. From her expression it showed that she didnt want us to have lunch there and she didnt say straight forward that its tasting menu only.. In order terms it may be really good place but her attitude was terrible.

I just had the best past of my life! The burrata, the sauce, omg! The waitress that helped us was so sweet. I told her I wanted a dish that was in the special menu last week and she made it happen! I even got upgraded to a full sized burrata! She was very sweet and advised me on what kind of pasta and if the extra cheese would go well with my dish! We stayed in Richmond for 10 days and ate at Sebastian’s 3 times! Thank you for such a nice experience!

I really wanted to like this place but was way over charged for a simple takeaway lunch . Pasta lacked seasoning and very little protein was added. Taste wasn’t good either.

El restaurante está situado por una pequeña pasarela que es visitado por muchos fans de Ted Lasso y una caída constante de los pies de turistas y lugareños. Franco Manca in Richmond delivers exactly what you’d expect from the brand - great pizza with that signature sourdough base, fresh and flavorful every time. The space is roomy and airy, which adds to the relaxed, laid-back vibe. Combined with the friendly service and lively atmosphere, it’s a solid go-to for a casual pizza night in a lovely part of town.

The worst chai latte in my life. It was spicy and not sweet at all, just bitter and spicy as if I was drinking pure turmeric spice. Small cup for £3.80 and I had to throw it in the bin because I could not finish the drink they made whatever it was.

I had an incredible dining experience at Bacco Restaurant. The food was absolutely phenomenal—especially the truffle pasta, which was rich, aromatic, and perfectly cooked, and the carpaccio, which was fresh and flavorful. The attention to detail in the dishes truly reflects the essence of authentic Italian cuisine. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed yet refined meal. The service was excellent, with attentive staff who made the evening even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a genuine Italian dining experience in London, Bacco is a must-visit! Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!

Really poor experience, loads of tables just left in a state after people had finished eating. We were sat at a table that had to be wiped down around us. My partners carbonara was like warm but meat burnt so sent back and therefore didn’t eat together. My lasagne luke warm but didn’t send back as bloody hungry. Use to be really good but wouldn’t recommend to your dog, considering this has cost circa £60 for 2. Go somewhere else as Richmond has better places to eat.
