It was a good lunch. We ordered the special menu from the black board, really happy with our choice. The service was excellent, and professional. The chefs looked great and nice (especially the one who's in charge at the pizza station). The toilet was good and clean, with rusty design. Glad that I was allowed to take some pictures there.

Yummy!!!! We booked for dinner tonight and we're not dissipated. Even though it was a busy rugby night (yes we NZ did beat England) the staff were very friendly and attentive. We were seated quickly in the conservatory area in a corner that didn't have a lot of ambience to be fair but was cosy and warm. The food was very good. The Bruschetta was as good as I've eaten in Sorento and Amalfi. The Tagleatelle was delicious as was the Raviolli. Plates were clearer quickly and there was good gap between courses. The food was fresh, vibrant and colourful. The cost was good and we will be back for sure soon for another dinner. Would recommend. Thanks guys.

Each dish was crafted with top-quality ingredients, and the flavors were exceptional—among the best Italian cuisine I’ve enjoyed in London and, frankly, across the UK. The ambiance was equally impressive. The decor strikes a balance between modern sophistication and the timeless charm of a classic Italian trattoria. With ample space, it’s an ideal setting to enjoy a meal with friends, family, or a partner. While prices are on the higher side, the value is undeniable given the quality of ingredients and the exceptional dining experience. You’re truly paying for a high standard that justifies every penny. Notably, hours after dining, I had no issues with acid reflux—a rare outcome for me when dining out, especially with dishes rich in oils or subpar ingredients. This speaks volumes about the quality and care put into their menu. I highly recommend Sebastian's to anyone seeking an extraordinary Italian dining experience. It has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the UK.

Didn’t enjoy it at all! The wine glass and cutlery were poor quality and my tagliatelle was very dry as though it had been standing for a while or microwaved!

After reading some of the reviews I expected the food to be better. It wasn't bad but both of our pasta dishes (seafood linguini & crab linguini) were extremely bland, as if the cook forgot to use spices.

Had anniversary meal here yesterday. Food was hot and freshly made. Very tasty pizza. Staff were attentive and friendly. A bit busy when we were there about 1pm. Id like to go when its less busy, may have been a bit more intimate then.

We had a lovely meal last night at Sebastian’s Italian. My parents and myself had a lovely server Parviz who was very attentive all evening. The gentleman who seated us also came over a few times to ensure our glasses were full and everything was going well. The only thing I would say is the pasta was slightly under-seasoned (I had the monkfish special) and the pizza was slightly soggy (perhaps too much sauce?). Had a delightful time and will definitely go back!

The worst restaurant I ever tried in London… The taste of the food is not worth mentioning, and their google reviews seem quite misleading. This restaurant is not in the city center, yet the prices do not reflect the quality. I feel like I wasted an evening here. Additionally, the manager and waiters were very rude, perhaps it's because we're not Italian and they looked down on us. I also want to mention the Tiramisu. It looked unappetizing, was not authentic, and tasted terrible. I definitely won’t be trying this restaurant again.

Been here twice for a meal before a Richmond Theatre performance. Great food, friendly service and pleasant setting. The music is properly background ie not too loud. Reasonable value for money too.

Hard to overstate just how excellent the food we had was. Nothing fancy or complicated about my dish - salmon with potatoes, tomatoes and broccoli - but each mouthful was a special experience of absolute deliciousness. I don’t know how they get it so good! By contrast went to Zizzi’s in Cambridge a few days later and had a dreadful poorly cooked meal. Keep it up Sebastian!

I've had the pleasure of dining at Sebastian's Italian twice in the past week, and both visits were nothing short of exceptional. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. I tried the gnocchi special, and it was absolutely divine. The rich truffle flavor paired with the creamy pecorino was a perfect combination—every bite was a treat! Their wood-fired pizzas were crispy and packed with flavor, and the spinach and ricotta ravioli was equally delicious. Overall, I highly recommend Sebastian's Italian for anyone looking for authentic, flavorful Italian cuisine. I can’t wait to return!

We always have a lovely time here. The waiters are all brilliant and are looking out to help you regardless of which area they are covering. Food is great and they are wonderful with young children, so kind and attentive.

The food was absolutely spectacular and the staff were 5 star. I want to mention Kasia especially for her extra attention to our table. She made sure my best friends birthday was the best and she deserves a promotion!! Thanks Kasia for making our night amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone!

The food was amazing and the service too. Although it's hard to say anything is perfect, for Italian food, this restaurant comes really close. Thank you for the wonderful service with the greatest pizza I've had, pizza even better than most I have tasted in Rome. Bolognese was super delicious too. All the ingredients seemed very fresh and of high quality which is what should be expected of such restaurants as this. Pleasantly surprised and I highly recommend to any Italian food lover.

Visited last weekend, having had good experiences here before. I ordered the pan fried medallions of steak which Id had before. To my suprise when it came it looked nothing like medallions of steak. The steak was cut into tiny one centimeter cubes as if it was being served to a five year old. I've ordered medallions lots of times over the years in different restaurants and it has always been as described, 'medallions' as in two or three good cuts of meat, small but flavoursome. The mistake I made was mentioning to the waiter that I wouldn't order it again, even though I cleared my plate, as it was neither visually appealing nor what I expected. The manager came over asking what was the problem at which point I tried to get across that I didn't want to make a fuss as the place was busy. He was having none of it, instead he got rather condescending saying that is how the chef serves it, he'd been there over four years and it had always been served like that. He made a big issue out of a simple bit of feedback and wouldn't back off despite the request of both me and my partner and despite the fact that he must has seen I was now getting increasingly uncomfortable. My partners food was great, mine was okay, service was okay but the manager needs to back off when asked.

Very nice Italian restaurant. Clean and welcoming. Bit expensive for what it is , but cool and spacious with some outside tables. Needs some more vegetarian dishes. Nice specials always.

Very sub par food. Was disappointed as expected a lot more. Large restaurant with pizza oven. surroundings and service are fine. Food was tasteless and average. Hard to reconcile with the previous postitive reviews.

In a town going backwards in terms of quality restarants and retail experience generally this offer continues to shine. Yet again they made vongole for me and as always first class. Great ambiance & service.

Great evening all round for 4 of us. Service is excellent, they are so welcoming. Food was good. Served quickly yet did not feel rushed. Only slight criticism is that it’s very hot inside but there’s always lots of people in there so it’s to be expected.

Really bland food for the prices. Nothing was fresh or well seasoned. When I was asked if I enjoyed my meal and said it didn’t have much effort the manager came to tell me how it was presented on foil and not seasoned as that’s healthier. I just feel like for the prices and lack of flavour it’s not worth going here.

Good location and pleasant restaurant with a traditional Italian menu. Food was solid but unexceptional and somewhat pricey.

Anyone visiting Richmond should eat at Sebastian's. My daughter and I ate there five times during our vacation. Staff, service, food very very good. A little tip: you can get a table before 6 p.m., after that it slowly fills up, so you should make a reservation. Went there once at 6:30 p.m. and it was very crowded. But the boss tried everything to get us a place. This was limited in time, but it was OK for us, we could still eat in peace.

My husband and I ate here on Sunday. I had pizza which was delicious, so fresh and plenty of toppings. My husband had a pasta dish from the specials board. Food delicious, service impeccable (waiter so polite and respectful and attentive) and we sat outside which was great on such a hot afternoon. Thoroughly recommend and have already recommended to a friend going to Richmond next weekend!

Outstanding friendly service accompanied by great food. This spacious and comfortable Italian fitted the bill exactly on my recent visit to Richmond. Highlights were Bruschetta, Pizza Calabrese, and Torte alla Mele. Beautiful selection of wines, including the Passito di Pantellera.

Great place. We were visiting Richmond for the day and had previously been here so thought we’d go again. It certainly didn’t disappoint. Great service. Specials board had some great choices. We shared the burrata to start. I had the Seaford linguine and my partner had the beef ragu with papparadelle. All were amazing. Will defo return

Visited here on a random visit to Richmond without booking in advance. My wife and I got a seat in a few minutes despite it being very busy in the restaurant. Out waitress Ana was exceptionally polite, friendly and efficient. The wine, food and desert were all superb. Highly recommended for great tasting Italian cuisine.

An off the cuff visit for my birthday yesterday. Have to say, friendly welcome, spacious, air conditioned, it ticked all the boxes. Pizza was what I would expect from a traditional Italian restaurant. Superb. I’ve only given 4 stars to service as despite it being really good and friendly, it may be the location of our table that my wife felt servers were hovering near our table all of the time. Would we return? Absolutely, without hesitation. Do I recommend? Of course I do.

Excellent food & service! I had minestrone soup which had wholesome vegetables and potatoes. The sea bass was spot on and the dessert (Torta Nonna) was a lovely light cake with ice cream. It has a very good local reputation. Shall return again!

Kudos to Chef Angelo! The pizza here is hands down the best in town. We tried the Norcina and Sebastian’s pizza—both were incredibly delicious. The crab linguine was fantastic too. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

Visiting Richmond for the day, so not sure if the prices are standard for the area or not, but £20 for a bowl of pasta? £15 for a margherita pizza? Madness! Twice the price of other parts of London! Nevertheless, the food was very nice. The service decent, and the atmosphere very generic and family-oriented.

Lovely lunch, attentive staff, great menu

We visited Sebastian’s by chance as we were passing in Richmond. For 2 of us we chose some small plates to share for lunch.. the food was delicious, the service was exceptional, really attentive but not in your face.. the waiting staff, made the portions of bruschetta an equal number, which was so thoughtful.. the wine was reasonably priced, cold & served to us. It was better than we experienced in a local trip to Italy. If we were local, we would be regulars as we absolutely loved it, the characterful service & care that is sadly lacking in most restaurants these days, so thank you for making our visit memorable!

As we had 3 waiters serving us, we weren’t aware of a specials board and only saw it once we were eating our meal. Would have liked to seen it. Pizza's were very good and tasty, so top marks to the chef on them.

Went on a Saturday lunch time. It was almost full house in the courtyard and we managed to have a table there. The “today’s special” was introduced to us to consider. The environment is lively and easy. We finally decided to order mussel in white wine, and king prawn in tomato and olive oil as starter. Sirloin steak and linguine with crab meat. The mussel was fresh, and taste just right. The prawn was not as fresh but still acceptable. The linguine was a little bit too al dente to me, and too much chili to me. Otherwise it is a very good dish. The steak itself is good in taste. But medium cooking made the meat a bit too chewy to me. The potato is done nicely. Overall, the food and ambience, and the service was above average.

Exceptional service from the get-go. We were shown to our table outside but sadly the cloud cover forced us further inside. There was zero issue with the staff and we moved seamlessly. Sprtizers were great. Sharing plates were meat-laden - could have used a little more Parmesan and bread (bread was amazing) tbf - and Mains were great. The pasta was handmade and light but filling. The seafood was very fresh and well prepared. We’ve had better Panna Cotta. I loved the attention from the staff. Would recommend.

Really tasty prawns, service amazing, was my first time here but very happy experience, from a very welcoming , the waiters was very professional and lovely, definitely I gone coming back . Thank you and to the kitchen for so tasty food prawns and cheese cake so delicious 😋.

Twice now I've been blown away by the excellence of this Italian restaurant. Seafood and crab linguine simply the best; fresh succulent mussels, prawns, squid, perfectly al dente pasta, all bursting with flavour. Panna cotta to die for. Attentive staff and great atmosphere.

Yummy food and relaxing atmosphere

We ordered olives, the Carpaccio & a garlic bread for our starter. Our mains were 2xTagliatelle Bolognese, a Pizza Diavola & a Bocconcini Di Manzo Al Pepe Verde. The Pizza was very nice, the Tagliatelle, for me, was ever so slightly overcooked (by about 1or2mins I reckon), but tasted nice, the Boccocini was tasty, though, it would have been better if the amount of potatoes was halved & replaced with some greenery like tenderstem broccoli or beans/peas. Overall, an enjoyable evening 👍🏼

Average Italian food. Quite bland. No different from any other family places. Decor is basic. No atmosphere. Waiter was friendly. Pizza and Pasta dishes very ordinary. No zest. Poor presentation too. Cannot understand the 5 star reviews at all. It was okay. But only okay.

Italian food & pizza at it’s finest. The pizzaiolo is strictly Italian as should be, and you'll find it in the pizza style & taste & dough made on a wooden fire oven. Exquisite cozze impeppata. Exquisite goat cheese with balsamic & veggies. It’s our 4th time coming here and always look for a something negative…difficult task! 👏🏻

We came for lunch on a Sunday, we didn’t have to wait long for a table which was great. We had the cheesy garlic bread to share first and then both had pasta for the main. Everything was delicious and the Rosè wine was lovely with the meal. The servers were amazing, checking in and topping up our wine throughout the meal. Will definitely be visiting again to try the pizza next!

Best Italian restaurant in London!

We had the chicken with mushrooms and roasted potatoes, monkfish linguine, margarita pizza and a garlic bread. Everything was delicious. The panacota and tiramisu were also great!

Probably my favourite Italian restaurant. It’s dark and cosy and has a wonderful atmosphere when you walk in. Always a good sign when a restaurant is loud with people chatting! Amazing service and lovely staff. An authentic menu, good wine and the best penne arrabbiata I’ve ever had. A must try.

I love Sebastian's, have been coming here since moving to the area three years ago and the food is always delicious and hearty, the atmosphere a lovely balance of smart yet approachable and the staff are all always, always so friendly and kind - first time coming with a little one and pram today and they remain so welcoming.

Chanced upon Sebastian’s while finding a place for dinner. We were lucky to have a seat as it was full. We enjoyed the crab and seafood linguine. and today’s special - burratta with Parma ham was delicious. Excellent food and service! Highly recommended.

nice food, lovely service and delightful interior. we didn’t have a booking but we’re still able to be seated on a busy day straight after the theatre. potatoes were a little bit hard tho but still nice!
