Best pesto I ever tasted ! That’s all I can comment on for now .

It‘s just a smallish deli, but it serves you the best Italian food in town! No fancy restaurant will match the taste of their pasta recipes! Deborah and George are passionate about food and just wonderful people to meet. It may seem a bit pricey if you compare with your everyday takeaway. But it‘s worth every Penny and I am grateful to have their pasta close enough to come in once a week! Go there, check it out. My personal favorite is the classic Lasagna. No restaurant ever came close.

Order take way 2 small slices of vegetarian lasagne and some pasta. The owner charged me £28! Prices are were not displayed. I don’t appreciate being scammed. Lost a customer forever.

I have been here many times but just for coffee. Yesterday I loved the jugs of oil displayed in the window so popped in to buy one. I hadn't realised after all these years that they did some Greek dishes. Speaking with the owner and practising my Greek I had a very nice conversation about food. The owner is from Alonissos. I purchased some Yemista( stuffed peppers) and asked about Patistio.( Greek lasagne) OMG the food had the most amazing flavours and the Yemista was to die for ( better than mine.) I totally recommend the food and the friendliness and helpfullness of the staff was 100%. Thank you George.

We visit regularly after work. This is a nice addition to the plethora of restaurants in Richmond:. The owners George and Debora, have that nice people-friendly aura about them. Service was quick and efficient, Food was well explained,. Love their pasta. Always learn a new thing each time we visit – I recently learnt that Casarecce , this lightly twisted, scroll-shaped pasta with narrow grooves down the middle, is great for absorbing sauces . The prices are on the slightly high side but hey, they’ve got rent to pay!, .. and the food is excellent, so we reward good food. Always a great positive experience when we visit. Lovely restaurant and we will definitely visit again!

Delicious homemade food, by far the best Italian dishes in town. Highly recommend the lasagne and meatballs. Friendly, welcoming family run business with warm atmosphere.

Best Italian food I have ever tried in London. Delicious food and desserts. There is always variety and also very fresh food. Debora and George are ever so kind. The desserts Debora makes us just out of this world. I am not Italian but I love Italian food but Debora and George always explain to me everything is on the food. My boss and I come here at least once a week and is our treat. I will never get tired of recommending this little Italian spot in Richmond because is just Devine. Friday and Saturday I think they do the Focaccia, which again is just Devine with the olive oil. Just Bellissimo

Had lunch, food looks amazing but becomes average after microwaving. The man who I presume is the owner was very rude when we very quietly asked for a breakdown of the bill. He did not answer quietly and was sarcastic in pointing out that the eat-in price was not the price displayed. £8 extra to eat by the window is steep.

Wow, wow, wow! Based just off Richmond high street, this boutique family run Italian deli takes you back to the heart of Sicily with its freshly made pasta's and chunky panini's. Run by a husband and wife, we got talking while looking at the options available and went down to see their kitchen (my family has been in the catering industry for decades) to a laboratory of Italian goodness. Deborah arrives at the shop before most have opened their eyes and creates half a dozen fresh pasta dishes covering different palates on a daily basis.... the definition of taking pride in your work. If some popular dishes are going fast, she even makes them again same day! Some of the dishes on offer the day we visited included: Spicy beef gnocchi (To DIE for) Spaghetti chilli garlic (options of king prawns or escalope's to accompany) Pastticho (Long tubed macaroni with a mix of cheeses and cream as a pasta bake with a bed of mince meat) Black Spaghetti Traditional Bolognese and Pomodoro There is also fresh options for you carnivores! Selections of Italian meats, sausages, salami's etc that can be combined with ciabatta's and mozzarella for a serious Panini.... they are very generous on portion sizes as well! Given it's location this spot is right for any occasion: Dates, quick meals, takeaways to sit in the park etc, it covers all the bases.... oh, and they're one of the few restaurants who don't ask you for your kidney as payment! I use this place as HQ if I am ever visiting Twickenham for an England game, as does ex world cup winner Mr Dallaglio (better than Twickenham hospitality apparently). Couldn't recommend this place highly enough, you will not be disappointed.

If your in Richmond and fancy a bite to eat try this lovely little cafe/deli. Serving home cooked hot/cold pasta dishes (your choice) veggie and meat ones. Italian pastries (lemon sfogliatelle and cannoli to die for!) and of course great coffee!. What I liked was the option to take home or eat in. We had brunch and then took home a pasta tea as we knew we were busy later, great! Also a great deli selection of wines, cheeses cakes etc. Now... the owners George and the lovely chef Deborah his wife (between George and I and another chap we decided ladies know best!) what a lovely friendly funny couple....a perfect reason to return. Thank you.

I wanted to try this place as me and my partner walked by it and it smelled amazing, but I was a bit disappointed in the end. There isn't any homemade pasta and it is very aldente to the point of almost uncooked. I was expecting some authentic Italian food full of flavour, but this was not it. My Caprese salad was ok and the tomato and basil pasta was just average in taste. I asked for my pasta to be heated up for takeaway and I did notice that the containers used for that, are plastic and they are not bpa free. Good, but nothing special. Also customer service could be a little bit better.

I really like this mom and pop shop. They do it well as the business is adorable and has amazing smells wafting out of it. We have ordered here loads and have been impressed with the pastas made from scratch. Very impressed. Have not tried everything but pleased with the ones we have. Wish they would reopen seating. Charming place and hope they are here for the long term.

We went to Debraggio’s to get a spot of lunch and oh my word - incredible! Due to Covid, we had to get a takeaway and warm it up when we got home, but the quality certainly did not dip. The pasta dishes we tried were spectacular. The meatballs were seasoned to perfection and the truffle ravioli was to die for. The fried chicken was also beautifully seasoned and not too heavy or greasy. If you’re in the area and enjoy simple, delicious home cooked Italian, you HAVE to try this place. Debora and George, the fabulous owners of this place, you are amazing! 😊😊😊

Amazing food quality. Delicious. I bought a sandwich from Joe & The Juice, which had ROTTEN avocado in it. Got rid and bought a delicious pesto pasta here. Brilliant service and amazing food. So glad I popped in here.

A must try deli for lunch in Richmond - please note this is not a restaurant but they have a few window seats...insanely tasty pasta dishes that will send you to HEAVEN. Sometimes we get a takeaway and eat it on the green if the weather is nice. I’ve also sat inside the window with a friend and enjoyed their truffle pasta. Owners are super cool, lovely friendly people with refined tastebuds...they will show you what is good. Every time we visit for lunch we come away delighted.

Spaghetti with garlic prawns is very good. Half a dozen homemade pasta dishes every lunchtime (pre Corona, not sure now) for takeaway. Especially like how they use the pasta and other ingredients they sell in the shop to make the food they sell. Coffee ain't half bad either.

I have visited on a few occasions and have never been let down by the food or service. There is seating upstairs and a few seats by the window downstairs (which I prefer) Staff are friendly, polite and knowledgeable and the food is great. A lot of the authentic Italian ingredients & produce used in their cooking are also available to buy in store. I will definitely return soon, yum yum 😋

Just had an excellent takeaway lunch in Richmond. Very fresh and just what was needed on a rainy day. A hidden gem. Highly recommended.

I ordered some pasta, which to my taste was under cooked. My friends ordered lasagne and some other stuff which was not that great and quiet expensive as well as compared to the quantity. Plus I get the privilege of corporate discount in the area, and this one specially had no discounts. So I didnt think it was worth it .

Had lunch in this lovely restaurant run by a very friendly and apt couple. Food is authentic Italian with . We were 4 and enjoyed every minute of our visit including the recommended Nero davola.Cannoli and deserts to die for. Will definitely visit again when in Richmond.

I have been going to this splendid eatery for many years now and have never been disappointed with the food nor the personal and interactive service. The food is homemade everyday, the pasta is divine , salads are scrumptious and the cakes the owner makes are to die for. The prices are very reasonable for the area and is ideal for a nice lunch - the prices upstairs are more, naturally, because the portions are bigger and also the upstairs is fully serviced. Another thing that is not mentioned enough is how good the coffee here is - if you can’t stop for the food you definitely should start getting your coffees here ! For me, Debraggios is truly a rarity as there aren’t many places in London were the food is so honest and fresh, the owners are actively involved in the everyday running of the business and the quality of the food is far above the competition. They have everything , coffee if your not feeling hungry, cakes and cannoli for the sweet lovers, salads for the health conscious , pasta and ciabattas for those who love to eat welllll and ALL of it for those like me who can’t get enough. Love this place and hopefully it’s you (whoever’s reading it now) will too !

I visit here a lot as I work in Richmond, some weeks I go every day. The food is normally nice albeit microwaved in front of you. The owner however really puts me off this place. He is so rude to both customers and staff. He regularly makes staff members look/feel stupid in front of me. I've seen him do it even with new staff members who are training. He's unfriendly to me even though I spend a lot of money in there, I don't even get a 'thank you'. It makes me not want to go back. Not sure if they actually want any customers. I would suggest only getting takeaways from this place as it's double the price (literally) to eat in a small dining room upstairs. Your food will still be microwaved but put on a plate instead of a tub.

One of the friendliest little deli's / restaurants in Richmond. The food they produce out of their tiny little kitchen is fantastic... particularly the Gnocchi! I highly recommend this little gem to anyone thinking of grabbing a healthy and hearty bite to eat.

This is a relatively new and relatively modest addition to the Richmond dining scene in the shape of a ground floor deli selling pasta and salads to take away which can also be eaten at slightly higher prices in a small room directly above. The food available is chalked upon a large blackboard divided into sections for ciabattas, then under ‘specials’ a lift of the mains available on a daily basis (we arrived too late for the black spaghetti and prawns or the crab ravioli. But the pasta with meatballs (conveniently served as a half portion for my daughter) and the pasta with bolognese (the pasta in question turned out to be long thick-ish strips) were absolutely fine. Chicken with pea, asparagus and mint turned out to be a salad. A glass of Trebbiano and double espressos provided the liquid accompaniment. Some attractive but amateurish paintings decorated the walls of this small room.

Variety of pastas in intriguing and authentic sauces freshly prepared by La Padrona ? To die for. Ciabattas for hungry local office workers who arrive for their daily fix ? Queues round the block. A friend describes it as my club, and indeed everyone who goes there regularly stands a good chance of becoming part of the family. I would be very happy to die there, a satisfied smile on my lips, my head face down in a bowl of Deborah's pasta. Need I say more ? Love you Guys !

A very casual eatery. Very good food. Atmospheric, simple, and very Italian. Though, the spelling of the plural of one desserts needs another look ;0).

This little family-run Trattoria in the heart of Richmond serves delicious food as well as selling Italian delicatessen items (including take-away pannini) and fine Italian wines. We particularly like the prawns with black spaghetti. George and Deborah make customers very welcome.

Great italian food Hard to get decently cooked pasta (try thr garlic and chilli spaghetti) in London but Debraggio does it to near perfection. Would have rated 5 except that it is a tad bit expensive if dining in which is tad too much for a casual place.

Ordered one portion of White truffle and porcini mushroom ravioli for my children to share (advertised price £12.90). The waitress kindly asked if I’d like it split in two bowls (half and half she called it). So I said yes that would be lovely.

Good selection of tasty and fresh Italian plates. Upstairs seating area if you want to sit in. Tortellini was delicious.

Amazing food! Work gets us food from here every second week and I've also been in by myself! Bit on the costly side for a lunch but well worth it!!

I just wanted to set the record straight having seen 'hooperlondon' review which in my opinion is an inaccurate account of what happened. firstly, he should take a long look at himself in the mirror considering his behaviour in front of his son. His comments were totally inappropriate and considering the rudeness and abrasive nature of the comments made I thought the owner handled the situation with a great deal of patience. I have been a regular customer for many years and can honestly say the complaint re portion size was, in my opinion, not only unusual but also totally unjustified. I ate there yesterday with my teenage daughter - me, for the third time this week - and she commented on the 'large' size of the portions even though, as I told her, they were the usual size. Debraggio quite rightly enjoys mostly 5 star reviews - and quite justifiably so. There regular customer base is a testament to that.

Ordered a portion of ravioli for me and a half portion of penne for my son. When they arrived the ravioli was a smaller portion than the penne - despite being £12.90 versus £7.90 for the child’s portion.

Have walked past Debraggio’s on several occasions, always had a good look on what was on offer, everything looks so inviting. Today we discovered there is a actually a small restaurant upstairs. Good selection on the menu from all the fresh food in the deli.

£13 for a plate of over-cooked ‘a la ding’ spaghetti with three musky tasting meatballs. £5 a thimble for house red. Sold out of the first choice of main at 12.30pm, despite it being chicken in breadcrumbs. Requested water that never arrived. This is a sandwich bar with seating, nothing is cooked fresh which makes their butt-clenching prices an unwelcome surprise. Takeaway ravioli was greasy and under seasoned, but apart from that well flavoured - if you don’t mind the texture of microwaved pasta. Location convenient.

Wonderful pasta. Seating area upstairs is simple and cosy but not in an unpleasant way. Staff are friendly and we could happily sit enjoying a coffee after our late lunch without feeling like we were in the way or needed to get out. My new favourite place to eat in Richmond.

A small authentic Italian deli and cafe. We visited for a late lunch and had a great experience. Spicy Sausages with grilled vegetables and meatballs and pasta was well cooked and delicious. Great flavours and a substantial meal on a cold day. Italian wines by the glass. The service was friendly and efficient. We would love to come back. There is also a deli counter so you can bring some goodies with you home. There is a steep staircase leading to the upstairs cafe/restaurant area.

I have been here 4 times now and each time I can’t resist their most amazingly tasty black pasta and garlic prawns even though all the food is delicious here .

On the expensive side when you want to dine in especially giving the fact that the portions are a bit smaller than usual, but for takeaway you get good portions for a much less price, and the food/quality is undoubtedly excellent and delicious. Really recommended!

Amazing home cooked Italian food. Always fresh and always very tasty. On top of the good quality the guys are also very friendly. There is a big selection of pasta dishes everyday to eat in or take away.

We always wanted to try this italian for lunch but was really dissapointed at the overall experience. Our pasta portion dishes were way too small and not appetising lacking true italian flavour! Sorry - wont be visiting again :(

Really pleased that we came across this small but perfectly formed Italian enroute to the rugby at Twickenham. We were lucky to find it tucked away as it’s not completely obvious that the restaurant is upstairs, although it is signposted!

So we were seeking an alternative for lunch to Whole Foods cardboard plates, wooden forks and rising prices when we remembered passing Debraggio walking up from The Green.

Found this little gem of a place today and absolutely loved it. Food amazing and such an array of different things. Customer service excellent we went as a ladies group eat drank coffee for 3 hours here and it was most relaxing. I will defiantly go back .. Highly recommended.

Don’t walk past this lovely place hidden in a Richmond side street towards the green. Popped in for some lunch with a client and it was amazing authentic Mediterranean food.

Easy to miss this absolute gem of a deli, cafe, sort of restaurant hidden off a side road in Richmond. However, please seek it out for some of the best Italian food I have tasted. Not only is it not part of the hideous chains that seem to be swamping every town, but the food is made with love and tastes all the better for it.

So the food here is awesome, honestly some of the best Italian cuisine I've had in London since moving here, however after a lunch break from work to sit down in the deli and have the same order which we usually have the bill came to £19.40 per person as opposed to the usual £7.50 that we pay for a pasta take away. This is absolutely ridiculous for a deli to be charging these prices for a simple pasta meal heated up and put onto a plate, I understand this is a catering business but to charge a extortionate £19.40!?! Thanks guys you're foods great but those prices are overkill.

All I can say it's the best authentic Italian food I've ever tasted. A bit hefty on the prices but worth every penny with every bite. Please go and give your pallet a treat.

Went for a very quick lunch before going to the theatre. The staff were really friendly and the service was good. The food was fresh and delicious with good size portions. It was very reasonably priced. I would definitely return.

If you like Italian food,defently you have to try this... it's impossible not to find at least 8 fresh product's...tge service is elegant and very friendly...i defently recommend this place...try it!you will not regret!

Fantastic Italian deli / restaurant for light lunches. Great food. Lovely people. If you like garlic then order the Garlic Prawns with pesto and black spaghetti. It is incredible.

Visiting Richmond to go to an evening performance at the theatre we were looking for somewhere to eat and came upon this lovely authentic Italian quite by chance.

Highly recommend eating at Debraggio. So many lovely dishes to choose from it's hard to pick one. We had spaghetti with prawns chilli and garlic, and penne pasta with meat balls. Both were excellent. Another customer sitting near us had minestrone soup, they remarked how delicious it was. Service was good too. This is a friendly independent restaurant and well worth visiting. Take away menu available.

Tasty italian food at reasonable prices.

We went there today to get ourselves some take away food. Both the owner and his wife are really friendly, the choices were so many, and all looked amazing. The owner was very helpful and explained what each food was and what was in it, thus helping us decide since it was difficult to decide what to buy, because everything looked really delicious!!!

Great vibe on Saturday night. Was reasonably sedate up until around 9pm when the DJ appeared! Good atmosphere but not if you're after a quiet, intimate chat!!

A lovely little restaurant above the deli. Family run, and great care taken with the ingredients for all of the dishes. Superb standard, authentic Italian dishes.

I knew this place as a popular take away for high quality fresh Italian food but found out that it has a dining area upstairs. It is a simply furnished and light room and the service was quick and friendly.

Had a lovely lunch here. Tasty homemade Italian food. My sister and I couldn't decide which dishes to have and were offered half and half - it was all very tasty - hit the spot: very comforting on a cold November day. It's a small down to earth place. A deli downstairs with a dining room upstairs. It wouldn't be great for large parties or if you needed a lot of space to sprawl out, but fine for parties of 2-4. Pleasant, efficient service. In a world of dull chain restaurants, it was a nice find and I will definitely go back.

I wanted to try this place which has very good reviews. Took my friend here but I was a bit disappointed. There isn't any homemade pasta just normal lemme or spaghetti and they are ok, good but nothing special. Other food doesn't look any special. Environment upstairs is a bit poor, very basic. It's ok for a lunch break but nothing more.

I am currently noshing on one of the best paninis I've had in London. I'm from the States and it reminds me of paninis there - crispy-on-the-outside bread, very fresh and tender, beautifully-seasoned chicken, excellent pesto, fresh tomatoes. It's truly excellent, and huge! Debraggio also had a really nice selection of Italian ingredients - marinated artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, pestos. I'll definitely have to pop in before I may my next pasta. Their side salads are also delicious, healthy, and fresh - beets, avocado, tomatoes, basil, yum. A really nice selection of pastas as well. So happy to find this place!
