Fantastic authentic Italian cuisine and pizza. Highly recommend. Always a wonderful evening out with a warm, welcoming atmosphere!

Such a sweet place, with wonderful staff and service. We visited London for two weeks, and were so taken with the ambiance, friendly and accommodating staff, and delicious food, that we planned our last day's adventures in Richmond, so that we could go back to La Luna a second time. Not only was the food exceptional, but they were so accommodating of the dietary needs of our party, and so friendly. Thank you for providing us with one of our fondest memories while in London.

This charming and cozy restaurant is a hidden gem tucked away in Richmond Hill. We visited there during our recent visit to London, and it was so good, that we went back for our last night of our stay.. Martina and her son Luca are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and made sure to make us feel at home and taken care of. Martina made sure to check that everything was perfect on both visits, and it was. We had two vegans and one person with a dairy allergy with us, and they were able to accommodate everybody with no problem. It goes without saying that everyone loved their meals and desserts. We had no trouble parking on a side street. Just make sure to park after 6:30 PM. And, after you finish your delicious meal, take a right as you walk out of the restaurant, and walk a few steps to find an incredible view. Just one more thing to love about La Luna di Luca! And, did I mention that they also have a great outdoor dining area, and are pet friendly? Anyone visiting (or living in) London needs to visit La Luna di Luca - at least once!

The food was delicious and the service was good. I was very happy as I was able to take my girlfriend out to a nice restaurant and enjoy a brilliant night.

Have to say, there was nothing special at all here, despite it being relatively expensive. Bottom line is that it’s overpriced.

Luna is a great little family run restaurant on Richmond Hill with good food, service and ambience. Just a really nice place for a meal with friends or family (or both) so simply put, what's not to like?

A wonderful Italian restaurant on Richmond Hill which has a lovely cozy family vibe. A curated menu consisting of authentic Italian dishes with fresh produce including a fabulous milk ice-cream with honeycomb and lavender which is a must! Great food, perfect atmosphere, I had the best Cotoletta alla Milanese , and one of the best TIRAMISU in my life. Highly recommended

Poor service, expensive and average. Disappointing as was recommended it by a local and had high expectations on arrival but sadly the it flattered to deceive.

We all had an amazing meal. The service is wonderful and I am sure this is the only dog friendly Italian restaurant we have ever been to. It is a wonderful place.

Just moved into charming area of Richmond Hill 2 weeks ago and thought we would check it out for early evening dinner as it is the nearest restaurant to our house. Looks very good for Al fresco outside dining. The pizza quality is a high standard with beautiful pizza bread and great tomato basil flavouring. However we were a bit startled by the bill. We didn’t drink any alcohol and just requested a bottle of still water. We were charged a massive £6 for a bottle of water. We were overcharged for pizza fungi at £14.50 instead of the £13.50 price on the menu. So although the dining experience was quite enjoyable be careful because the establishment is a bit sly with their overcharging.

We've been going to La Luna for ages so I thought I'd better write a review at long last. The title sums it up. This was prompted by a (typically) knock out meal on our visit last week. We had sublime scallops - fresh, sweet and succulent; spaghetti alle vongole with fa,t juicy clams and finished with a stellar panna cotta which was heavenly (their signature dessert). This was washed down with a very decent Gavi, typical of the very good value wine list. The cooking is perfectly executed and the impeccably fresh, seasonal, ingredients are allowed to shine. Remind you of anywhere? That riverside gaff in Hammersmith? Minus the ££££? La Luna has a delightful outside terrace, it also serves top pizzas and the friendly, attentive service is presided over by the lovely Martina. Just go.

Have ordered the (really excellent) pizzas from here (Deliveroo) and been very pleased indeed with everything but as we live a couple of miles away, we’d never actually visited. To cheer my wife up after a rubbish week at work, I persuaded her we should get out for an impromptu evening out and we drove to La Luna to try it out, without making any reservation. The restaurant was full bar one table for two, just vacated. The lady manager quickly tidied it up and invited us to sit down. The place was now full and enjoyably busy but we got served pretty quickly and the aforementioned lady ensured we were not forgotten. We had calamari (beautiful, fresh and perfectly cooked, not the pre-frozen garbage often served up elsewhere) with a spiky sweet chilli sauce, followed by two outstanding pasta dishes and a generous, extremely fresh rocket salad. We shared a chocolate afogato and a very good, well chilled bottle of Italian white. The bill came in about £40 below my expectation, even after the optional service charge which was fully earned by our charming, friendly and efficient server. I really couldn’t fault anything and my wife was very much happier when we left than she had been when we arrived. Negative reviews on here are laughable: it seems people expect to turn up without a reservation, demand which table they should be given and then chose to take offence when their arrogant self entitlement doesn’t get them their own way. It’s good to see management push back in the replies. Looking forward to returning.

I've recently moved to the area and was delighted to find a local family run Italian restaurant offering good food and a warm welcome closeby Whether I'm on my own or with my grandchildren the experience is always a good one! The restaurant is not large so booking is advisable. The food is fresh and delicious especially the lobster! Thankyou Martina and staff for providing such a super place to enjoy genuine food in a lovely atmosphere.

This place looks like it should be lovely but the manager seems to be put out by customers wanting to, you know, eat there. We never even tried the food as the attitude we received made us leave. I'm not rude to resturant staff I don't expect them to be rude to me, especially the manager, for no good reason. If you can't cope with a full house take out some tables. I won't be going back. there's plenty of brilliant restaurants down the hill, do yourself a favour and take a walk.

The food here is generally pretty nice, so we were excited to bring friends for their birthday. Despite booking a table, we arrived and were initially ignored by the front of house manager. Once we introduced ourselves she put us in a small table that did not fit us all and a couple of our party had to leave. We asked how long the wait was, only to have an aggressive response of ‘I’m not going to tell you that’. She then advised we could sit at another larger table (where there were two people), but had to stand around looking at them whilst they finished their drinks. We declined and decided to move on. Whilst leaving she advised we should have booked (we had) and advised on the numbers attending (we had). I won’t be returning.

An incredibly tasty meal. Generous serving of wine and homemade pastas and pizzas. I can’t understand the other reviews - always busy and there is a reason for that!

The restaurant looks pretty and well staffed with 2 waiters who were friendly, although you'd expect that given the restaurant was empty on a Friday night. Why might that be? Prices are comparatively high, and we didn't think they were value for money. For example, a dish of plain pasta with nothing but butter for a child cost £16.30 (including service charge that was automatically added). And unfortunately we didn't think any of our dishes tasted great, they all sat heavily on the palate and stomach afterwards. We thought the restaurant looked pretty with its fairy lights so wanted to try it, but found it an expensive, disappointing meal.

Really tasty fresh pasta dishes and great pizza, my husband and I felt so welcomed by the staff I brought my coworkers back for more lasted in the week. Everything was fresh and delicious. A must visit.

I tried this place in April 2022. The above describes my experience. Today I gave them a second chance. Even worse. I won't give them a third.

I've been enjoying Luna Di Luca pizzas over lockdown, which are very reasonably priced with an Uber Eats discount, so I thought it would be nice to go and visit the restaurant itself, as surely the pizzas fresh from the oven would be superb. My advice to the restaurant: Stick to takeaways. Not a lot went right. The restaurant itself is cramped and uncomfortable, with chairs that seem to have been salvaged from a particularly Calvinist church. The night was windy, but every time the front door was opened, every piece of paper in the place was swept away. Many restaurants have overcome this with a small vestibule and a curtain (like the excellent Bacco in St Margarets), so it's not a new problem that can't be easily solved. We were offered drinks before a menu arrived. Please, don't have them until you have actually seen a menu, as they are unbelievably expensive. £10 for a single G&T, £10 for an Aperol Spritz and £8.50 for an indifferent Prosecco. That is Ivy-money, and their drinks are superb, and in a gorgeous location, not stuck in a shopfront on a side street up Richmond Hill: And they have the decency to tell you the prices upfront. The food was variable. The Calamari was good, if pricy, and the special Artichoke salad was enjoyable, but again, pricy. A smallish main course portion of pasta was 20 quid, but the signature pizzas? Awful. Honestly, we thought that the reason they were soggy and cold on arrival at home was because of the journey: We have always cooked them more in the oven to crisp them up on arrival, and have really enjoyed them. No, it turns out that in the restaurant, they serve them soggy and hot. What a disappointment. My biggest bugbear, though, after the price of the aperitifs, was the price of the wine. By the bottle, it was not too bad, and the glasses of wine as listed (most bottles could be had by the glass), were about 1/3 of the price of the bottle (£9.50 on a £28 bottle of wine). The wine we were served was barely 125ml, so 1/6 of a bottle at best. It is a legal requirement to put measures of wine on a menu clearly so a customer can make an informed choice. At the very least you would expect 175ml for that price, or even 250ml. I had just assumed, as it turns out *quite* wrongly, that we had been served a smaller, cheaper measure. Had I had any of that small quantity of wine in my mouth when the bill came, it would have all come spluttering out. It appears that our three glasses of wine (coming to about 1/2 a bottle), had cost the same as a full bottle. What a rip off. It's a real shame. It feels like the restaurant is trying to trick customers into overpaying on drinks. I know that had I been fully informed, I would have ordered quite differently, and spent far less than I did. There are a lot of poor reviews of this place, and you would have thought that the owners would take note: No customer spends their time to complain for the sake of it, and none of us is making it up. It could be a great neighbourhood restaurant with 5 stars, but it isn't. It wasn't at all full (and on a Rubgy night, when every other table in Richmond is packed out), and it shows people vote with their feet (and their Tripadvisor reviews). On the whole, the a la carte is good, so with some sensible decisions made on food pricing and a more transparent attitude to drinks pricing, it would be worth another visit, maybe bringing my own chairs. But until then, we'll be sticking with the takeaway pizza, reheated and crisped on arrival

Very pleasantly surprised to find this excellent casual and small Italian with very good pizzas, excellent pastas (we tried the vongole, the crab, the beef ragu and the lobster pastas). Service was terribly slow because there was only one server for the entire place but the food was hot and fresh when it came out and very good. We will definitely be back.

The food here is very good. The deli across the road is also excellent. The chicken Milanese is delicious. However, it costs £9 for one portion (amounting to a small pot) of spinach. That meant it was £18 for two sides of spinach. That is very poor pricing and unjustifiable. Luna di Luca must change this!

Pizza so soggy and undercooked. Even the rocket on the top had gone soggy. Pools of oil on the top of the pizza. Inedible & went in the bin.

Ordered three pizzas from here last week and I was deeply disappointed with them. All were under cooked, wet and sloppy,. As the pics attached show, the cheese had slid of two of them In the box before we had even opened them. In the end. We ate the outside bits that were cooked as we were to hungry to reorder.they were very bland, we had to season all of them. Given the price of them - £43 I would expect much better. I try to support local businesses but when I'm sent undercooked over priced pizzas it makes it very difficult!I definitely won't be ordering from here again

A beautiful place recommended by many friends from the university. I go there often because compared to other restaurants that have little or nothing about Italian. This restaurant has real Italian cuisine. The best pasta and pizza in Richmond!!!!!

Right going by the address this is the deli and not the restaurant (same owners). Nicely stocked. Imma not paying £6 for a sausage roll periodtt!! Words of advice...lower your prices on everything by £1-2.50 (way over priced) and by £5 on hot meals behind counter, crack a smile, be warm and friendly and you’ll have a full deli, triple plus your profits and have the locals eating out of your hands. Or just carry on as you are....

A Saturday lockdown deliveroo treat - calamari and Milanese chicken... huge portions so enough for another meal! Wonderful -

I ate here just recently and informed the restaurant of my allergies, they had one waitress serving the entire restaurant, which at a weekend just isn't enough to be able to run a whole restaurant. She did a great job, but she should not be put into this situation by the owner. The food that I'm allergic to was served to me, then taken away when I mentioned it, they asked if they could just take it off and re-serve the meal, I said no, but then the new dish was served so quickly that I was sceptical. I had a bad allergic reaction to something that was eaten here and so left the restaurant as quickly as possible. Then I was sick and very unwell for 2 days. I don't feel like they took my allergies seriously enough and are not equipped to handle them. Disappointing for an expensive meal.

We ate in the deli across the rd, 'Luca's deli' which is part of the same group. It was meant to be a quick, reasonably priced lunch and though it was quick, it was far from reasonably priced! One of the issues is that prices aren't shown anywhere but we were gobsmacked when we came to pay - over £30 for two small pastas, an even smaller rocket salad (small side plate size) and one bottle of water. The service was very cool to the point of being rude and it's all such a shame as the deli itself is cosy and sells some lovely produce. I felt completely fleeced though, even by Richmond standards and it sounds like the owners don't really care given the numerous similar reviews on here.

I have never been disappointed by the service or quality of food at this fine establishment. Very accommodating to all guests, even without a reservation and was a great place to eat with a family. Loved the Milanese!!

Worst service and treatment ever! We have tried this restaurant with my family in 2018 based on an advise and at short notice. We had no reservations, therefore asked if they had any seats available and in a minute we were shown a table. However, once we sat down we were totally ignored and were not able to order at all for more than a whole hour! I quite naturally did not want to pay the service charge at the end and this was the time the lady in charge was taken aback and inquired the reason for this. When I explained, she said we did not make any reservations and this was the reason she did not serve us for so long on purpose. Even this could have been an acceptable explanation to a certain extend if she hadn’t continued further to suggest we should have gone to Mc Donalds if we wanted a fast service! She said she was serving quality food and this is not Mc Donalds. This was the rudest treatment I have ever experienced in my life time and a way too expensive one. I would never recommend anyone to go through a similar experience like this. This is the reason why I finally took the time to write this commentary after so long.

There was no tables in the restaurant and they moved us to another smaller place where the staff was grumpy and seemed that she didn’t want us to be there because of the time, I think. We ate fast and left the place, never again.

The food was okay whereas the pizza dough was a bit undercooked. Also no dressing on the salad. From the waiter we would have expect to advise us about the wine choice as the one we had was much sweeter than expected! he recited the specials without us understanding much as well... but they were attentive, though mostly reactive. All in all an okay experience, though not really memorable, and with minimal improvements this place could be great.

The place literally served a 1/8 of a portion like it would be a gourmet restaurant. The service was bad the waitress was on the phone... over all it was a bad experience.

Visited not too long ago and found the food to be average in taste and overpriced with a hostile atmosphere which made the evening a bit less enjoyable. also found the waiting time a bit excessive. What a shame!!

Approached this restaurant for early dinner. Was turned away despite not a single person in the restaurant due to full booking. We asked how long as we wanted a quick bite, we were told they were fully booked again. Cannot help but think we were turned away from an empty restaurant due to our (well behaved) 6 month old.

We love Luna di Luca for its delicious Calamari, seafood salad, pasta and pizza - there is something for everyone to like. We recently took three generations of our family to lunch here and sitting outside in the courtyard on a sunny day with great wine, service and food was a highlight of the summer.

I've been coming here regularly over the past year. My favourite dishes are the chicken Milanese and spaghetti carbonara. A top restaurant in an excellent location-Richmond hill, off the main high street. The food is always beautiful presented, served hot and with high quality fresh ingredients.

Sono stato in questo povero ristorante per pranzo e ho ordinato come antipasto le scalops che mi sono state servite ancora surgelate, l’hostess penso sia pure la padrona, bevendo acqua dalla bottiglia a canna davanti ai clienti! E soprattutto sgarbatissima nei confronti del cameriere che a quanto pare è l’unico italiano di questo ristorante! Come main course ho ordinato gli spaghetti al granchio ma di granchio c’era ben poco!Volevo comunque lasciare la mancia al cameriere che è stato gentilissimo ma mi ha risposto che non era necessario tanto la padrona con lo chef si sarebbero presi tutto come fanno con il service charge incluso nel conto! Unbieleveble! La cosa più brutta è che sono andato via con la mia compagna più che deluso irritato! Mai più!

If nothing else come eat their Spaghetti Vongole. It’s amazing. Better than anywhere I’ve had it including Italy.

1 more wanna be Italian restaurant in London.....the only Italian guy is the waiter very carefully to every guest but the rest from staff are not Italians...... service is good but food is really poor, no tasty, medium quality, nothing special to suggest and the Italian kitchen have millions of suggestions, typically menu for a trattoria but not good enought for a restaurant , pizza very tasty but food really needed! Im very disappointed about this place

This was my second visit to La Luna di Luca and I sat in my favourite spot outside. I had crab ravioli, a starter of Burrata and tiramisu to finish. As always the food was fresh, typically Italian and absolutely delicious. The staff are always friendly offering a brilliant level of service and I look forward to returning.

Thats my favorite restaurant in Richmond , is a beautiful place and the food just sensational , it always feels like i am in Italy everytime .Summer or Winter is always cozy in there !Lovely staff really friendly and helpfull i recommend , is definetely the best !!

My Sardinian partner and I booked here for an anniversary meal, expecting a nice slice of her own home of southern Sardinia to be accessible food-wise near to where we live in Richmond. Their website is unhelpfully broken, and so we relied on their deliveroo website to figure out the sort of cuisine that they have.

I have gluten intolerance and after waiting for a few minutes just to get the menu (although they were not very busy) and telling the hostess about my restrictions, she almost shouted at me "You came to an Italian place! It is all pasta and pizza!". After this rude remark she turned and walked away. I have been to many Italian places before and they always had some gluten-free options. I could even get by by ordering a salad or fish. But such attitude turned us off and we left to another place. And even though the restaurant is an easy route on the way from our gym, we don't go there again. I do not recommend their service at all.

This restaurant is wonderful- and it was so nice. The staff are happy and genuinely want the customers to have a good time. The food is fantastic . I want to go back.

Personally I’m going there since a while, once a month at least and it’s always good. I normally get pizza but my wife who tried the pasta said it’s also very good. Service is fine, of course when it’s busy it can be a bit slower, but it’s ok. I don’t get why people have to be so nasty in their reviews. I read a review done last week of 2 families who reserved the table at 6 and showed up at 6.15 and I was there. I saw everything that happened and there are plenty of lies. I was with family and saw this guy in short and flip flop arguing that they wanted to stay longer to get a dessert and the owner told him that, as they were late, the table was already booked for 7. She offered him to be inside near the door and to have the dessert but he refused. He also went to the family waiting for the table saying that it didn’t worth eating there because it was awful. I checked trip advisor because I was sure he would write something bad which he did. It’s far too easy saying that service is bad when it’s your own fault. Let’s remember that behind a restaurant there is people’s hard work and families so let’s be honest and delete those lies you wrote.

I am a local to this restaurant and I really appreciate having somewhere independent I can stroll to with my husband and our local friends/neighbours. I have been here a couple of times in the past and each time the service has been getting progressively worse. My most recent visit however takes some beating. Owning and running a restaurant is certainly not for everyone - however if you’re going to open one, the least you can do is make an effort! For goodness sake! . Otherwise, why bother?? It is as if the owner is consciously trying to drive away custom. I just cannot understand it. This is a very residential part of Richmond and so the catchment area for repeat business is potentially extremely large. Not much effort actually need actually be made for the restaurant to packed every night. However with the service my guests and I received today, I can see why it was empty. We will certainly not be returning. The food is mediocre at best so I’m not too upset about giving it a miss in future. These people have no idea what they’re doing.

We booked a table of 7 for dinner at 6pm and were 15 minutes late (joys of juggling kids!) we had reserved an outdoor table and were seated with the waiter saying he needed it back in an hour and a half... this was not specified on booking, if it had been we would’ve gone elsewhere as we were all looking forward to a relaxing dinner, but given we were at the restaurant it was not an option to change plans.

My friends took me to this great local Italian, we met Martina who is a complete dream, a welcoming and friendly Sicilian who is passionate about her food! Her positive vibe is reflected in all the staff, great atmosphere! The food was super delicious!! I...

La Luna di Luca is proof once again that poor service can ruin an otherwise decent restaurant experience.We were a group of six and though one of only three tables on a Saturday night (which in itself should have been a clue now that I think about it) it took well over an hour to get our pizzas. The food was ok but the indifferent attitude of the manager and owner left a bad taste in our mouth. When we shared our feelings we were met with rude challenge that it was our fault for ordering starters (salad and cold meats) and other equally silly excuses (they aparrently needed to prioritise deliveroo orders though we did not see a single deliveroo pick up while we were waiting)The food itself was ok and gets this place a barely deserved two stars. As others have said there are plenty places in the area where you can get good food paired with good service.

I'm a local and I was really hoping I would love this place. I visited again yesterday, food was below average. Prawns are frozen and tasteless. They weren't even cooked through. Pizza was ok - nothing special. Franca manca down the road is 100 times nicer. Pasta was tasteless. When they describe a lobster special, it's a frozen lobster tail. I would never come back. Manager is rude and can't take any constructive criticism. Service was shocking.

We're frequent visitors to the new Trattoria on the site of the old Red Cafe, as we live around the corner. The food is consistently good, especially the pizzas in the evening. We also visited this lunchtime and has Salmon and asparagus, which was also tasty.I have to say I don't recognise some of the criticisms here about the attitude of the staff - I've always found the manager and staff very friendly and accommodating - especially with our kids.

Overpriced, poor service even though only one third full, salad = 5-6 tiny green leaves, small measures on drinks. Lady owner dismissive and couldn't care less. No customer attention. Avoid at all costs. Much better restaurants further down in richmond.

Had dinner here and would say the food is really nice although the rating is subdued by the varying seasoning with each dish. The starter was pasta and the kitchen did a smaller size. The over salting was an issue although the pasta was cooked beautifully. The main course was sea bass which was delicious but again over salted. Disappointingly the accompanying spinach (?) Was really bland and not edible. The desserts were standout though and ice cream home made. I had panacotta which was also great. Much potential if they can sort the seasoning.

still an overpriced under quality place to eat. if you want a better Italian meal, go to Pizza Express down the hill. And yes I do know that sounds ridiculous.

The restaurant looks very appealing from outside however it was one of my worst experience of restaurants ever! The staff are extremely rude and useless that we had to leave even before ordering food. Totally ruined our Saturday.

Always friendly, always warm, superb food, relaxed atmosphere...my 'Montalbano restaurant'! Martina goes out of her way to make you feel at home, and her 'Chocolate nemesis' and home made milk ice cream are out of this world!

No doubt that food here is above average ( not exceptional though ), however the service is a shocker! A note to the owner... today people are looking for ' an experience' , cooking good food is not enough.I have never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant before and judging by the atmosphere , other people must've felt the same!Good luck to you!

Nestled in on Richmond Hill, on the face of it Luna di Luca seems very appealing. However, how we were proved so wrong! Having requested the Trattoria we were moved to the restaurant where we think the food (when it eventually arrived) was being shuttled across the road only to hit our table cold & lacking any form of presentation. Service slow & the bill couldn't have come sooner. A real shame as Richmond needs more decent restaurants... I should put my catering degree to good use...

I'm here 2/3 times a week. It's my homie trattoria. Either you want a good pizza or a super pasta dish and a good selection of mains like fish or meat this is your place. Great selection of wines.

Needed to stop over in Richmond Hill today and came across this lovely Italian or more accurate, Sardinian restaurant. The meal we had was really very good. Perfectly cooked mussels to start followed by a mixed sea food dish with fresh pasta. Would definitely recommend..#TayloredByUs

We ordered 3 mains and a starter of calamari. The portion for the calamari was very tiny and a tad oily. Pizza and the salmon mains were decent. Although, you could easily get the same quality and quantity in any other places.We also had a pasta dish. The pasta was over cooked. It had some fresh seafood (1 small prawn and a small lobster tail) but at a dear £25! If I do visit again i certainly will not be ordering it anymore. It was not particularly flavourful or tasty nor justifiable at the price. The ambience was casual and comfortable. The waiter did came to ask how is everything to which we mention the size of the calamari. But we barely got any acknowledgement in return.

Clearly a hit with locals, this pizzeria produces good pizzas. When we visited none of us were tempted by the starters, and after our pizzas we weren't particularly tempted by the deserts either. The Vegeterian pizza could have had a few more vegetables on it, but it was tasty and did have lots of cheese.The restaurant is small, so when summer comes and they can have tables outside it doubles the size of the restaurant ... which can cause issues of slow service.Maybe if you're a well known customer you are treated better, but as an occasional diner there we felt somewhat ignored by the staff. It's not easy to put a finger on exactly what doesn't quite work, but I feel that 'they could do better' fits the bill here.

The main course took a very long time to arrive. Normally I'm happy to wait if a restaurant is run off its feet or the food has been cooked fresh and takes time to prepare. But neither of these were the case. The place was empty. And the food...well it was very bland. Not to mention cold. For the money spent (be under no illusion this restaurant is pretty pricey), I was expecting a fabulous pasta dish. But it was no where near worth the hefty price tag. In fact I'd say I've cooked better myself at home. I will say however that the waiter who served us was very nice and attentive...after all you can't blame him for the food. The manager or owner however seemed more interested in planning for a group of diners that same night, and made us move tables to half way through the visit - I couldn't help but think of Basil Fawlty. Maybe we weren't Richmond-chic enough for the establishment?

Small and very welcoming Italian with friendly staff. Mt starter of four big king prawns was delicious followed by an excellent, very large, Calzone and a very good glass of Montepulciano. By my standards the prices were a little high - £40 for a starter, main and two x 175ml glasses of wine but this is London!

This is a great restaurant with brilliant staff who know their food and wines. Not a huge menu but brilliantly executed. Highly recommended.
