The best restaurants serving Italian food in West End City of London, Westminster London

I'm simply embarrassed that I have never been here before in the forty years I've been coming to London. I am very fortunate that a friend knows it well and we arranged to meet and have lunch here. The restaurant doesn't advertise, it doesn't need to. It has a steady stream of regulars both lunch and evening. And the food is glorious. As Michael Winner might say, the Burrata was historic and undoubtedly the best I have ever tasted. The cherry tomatoes were sweet and full of flavour as if picked straight from the garden. I followed with the baked Tuscan sausages and words can't really do justice to such a beautifully cooked dish. Inexpensive food made to lift the heart and soul. Paul made us very welcome and we left him to choose some delicious Sicilian wine. Nearest tube is Oxford Circus. Two courses are around £40. Don't delay, but probably best to book in advance.

Pizza was mediocre, lemonade tasted like chemical. I would not recommend this place for authentic Italian pizza lovers.

Food was great! Atmosphere was quiet to start bcs we were early and then became quite busy. What made our experience perfect was the excellent, attentive, and friendly service of Federico!! He inquired about our special occasion and, even though he was managing quite a number of other tables, he took initiative to make our celebration extra special. The Best!! Thank you very much Federico!!

I really liked the treatment and the service. It is a familiar place, something reminded me of Spain or Italy beyond a menu, fresh products and homemade preparation. Excellent espresso. A surprise.

Smallish friendly Italian restaurant. Prices are reasonable for London. Friendly staff. We had risotto and different pastas, all were very good. I would go back there again for sure.

Wonderful flavour selection created into a medium sized rose 🌹 shape. They had chocolate, raspberry, strawberry, mango;etc. flavours. The only thing is that they don’t accept cash. Be prepared to pay by card.

This restaurant moved from the ground floor to the first floor to accommodate renovations. It’s now in a windowless room that, while nicely decorated, is quite claustrophobic and can get loud when it’s crowded. The restaurant also seems understaffed. While everyone is friendly and nice, the staff seem overwhelmed. You have to ask for things several times before it gets done, and it took a very long time for someone to come take my order. Overall, not a seamless experience and not something I would expect from the Four Seasons.

Our hotel concierge recommended this restaurant we are so pleased they did. It was a fabulous Italian restaurant. From the focaccia, starters and mains everything was delicious The only negative was the majority of the bottles of wine were a overpriced.

Hace algún tiempo, cenamos en La Pietra durante nuestro viaje a la ciudad de Londres. El chef hizo que pasáramos una noche inolvidable. La comida era fresca y muy sabrosa. Disfrutamos de un mezclado chapada con embutidos, diferentes pastas y algunos postres. Sin duda recomiendo este restaurante a cualquiera que visite Londres.

Fácilmente uno de los mejores Tiramissu de Londres. Grandes opciones de sabores que hicieron funcionar a la perfección.

Had a lovely breakfast here this morning. The Italian lady who served us was so lovely, and the food was really good. The coffee was amazing too.

The staff were lovely but I thought the food was really unnecessarily over priced. My partner and I had the marbled Spanish steak (@£160 per kg) I really expected it to be amazing, but I found it quite tough and disappointing in flavour and texture. When looking around at other dishes, the portions did not add up to the price on the menu. Sadly I wouldnt go back, and I left quite disappointed with a noticeably smaller wallet!
