Ristorante trovato grazie alle recensioni su TripAdvisor....non posso che dare una conferma a tutto ciò che di positivo è stato già scritto! Primi davvero ottimi.... tagliatelle al ragù buonissime come quelle fatte in casa dalla nonna. Porzioni generose...Sorbetto stellare!!! Prezzi nella media. Se avete voglia di mangiare italiano a Londra.... questo è il posto giusto! Consigliato!

The two pastas we had were one a crab fair to middling the other a ragu extremely disappointing - sorry to say the place has lost the allure it once had.

This is our favourite Italian in London. The owner is just lovely and you can just see the passion and its very authentic Italian/Umbrian and a family run establishment. Then the food!! Stunning! I'd recommend the souffle, its one of my favourites - ever, along with the Ragu (I get it every time) and the Tiramisu is so creamy and top 2 We've ever had! Just can't recommend this place enough along with all their friendly staff and amazing wines <3

A superb lunch. The staff were attentive and fun. It was a pleasure to find such relaxed yet professional & hard working young people. The room was lovely and menu varied enough to suit us all. We will definitely be back!

We hadn't been here before,but reviews were good.This is a family restuarant,really lovely atmosphere.Food was superb.We were given a little taster to start with and my Husband was given a free desert which was such a nice jesture.When we're back in London,we will definately eat here again.

Had lunch and selected from yesterday's menu (apparently it is updated daily). Anyways the food was of standard level and small servicings - which is fine by me when lunch, however I hope they are just a tad bigger for dinner. The beers offered are narrowed down to a choice between two (Italian brands) - not impressed. I know! this is a Italian restaurant and I like my wine, but for lunch it's better with a beer instead of wine...

Lovely meal and drinks, elevated by the superb service. Alexandra could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. From the warm welcome to the final farewell, we felt thoroughly spoiled. The food was very nice and a good selection. Fresh homemade pasta, tasty starters and mains with a very quaffable and affordable red wine. Would recommend this place.

Had a fantastic meal - everything was superb! The waitress was fantastic - the right balance of friendliness and professionalism. All the staff were excellent.

Wonderful restaurant - a real find. Quality of food was amazing - fantastic ingredients and flavours. We had a trained chef, a vegan and a garlic intolerance amongst our group and yet everyone had a gorgeous meal. Lovely, quirky staff also really made the experience one to remember.

Interesting experience, quiet restaurant when we were there - looks like the restaurant is being renovated which it probably needs. Menus could really do with updating. Service was very friendly however and the food was good if a little butter-heavy.

Great traditional family-owned Italian in a quiet side street in Soho.

This is our third time here and on each occasion we have had the same 5* experience. If you yearn for the experience of genuine warm hospitality pre-Covid then this is the restaurant for you. We have come as a group of 8, a quick family dinner for 3 and as a birthday party of 5. The staff are warm and welcoming and on each occasion we can see there are very many regulars. There is no fixed time restriction for when you need to return the table and you can come for 1 course or 3 (or more) and the welcome will be the same. Many staff have been here for some time and know what great hospitality looks like and delivers. The chef knows how to cook and is sensitive to any changes to dishes that may be required. We came with a friend whose diet can’t take many of the usual cooking ingredients and this was dealt with as if a matter of course with still delicious results. Go and enjoy.

We had a lovely family dinner here Enjoyed great service and wonderful food and wine. This was the first visit to the new restaurant/location. It’s not as ‘cosy’ as Poland Street but still very nice. We will return again soon.

V&Ps was so worth going to! We weren’t sure what to expect due to the photos of food on the website but my friends and I were pleasantly surprised. Food and service were amazing! We were out for a friend’s birthday and let the staff know ahead of time. They gave us two starters we hadn’t ordered as a “treat” and all the staff came out to sing happy birthday to my friend when they brought out the dessert. Staff were super friendly and engaging to all their customers. Myself and my friends all agreed to return another time with our families. :-)

Is there a better Italian restaurant in London? I doubt it. The care and attention to quality of ingredients, expert cooking, and attentive service is of course all in evidence but there is more - Vasco's heritage is ever present. After more than fifty years this restaurant is as relevant today as ever and the tradition is being faithfully carried on by Paul and his hard working team.

Without a doubt our favourite place. Each time (and there have been many) we have never experienced anything less than a warm welcome, superb service, cosy ambience and easily the best food and wine in London. V&P is a terrific place run and staffed by wonderful people we’ve come to cherish - can’t recommend it highly enough.

So glad we came here. After extensive looking through reviews as there are so many in London. Settled on here and it did not disappoint. Walked past it twice as scaffolding all over the front of restaurant which is a shame, but didn't detract once inside. Food gorgeous Traditional Italian. Food made with love and kindness, and great wine recommended too. Will come back if in this area again. We'll done team

Amazing meal, and it feels like a real gem of a find. A neighbourhood restaurant in the middle of everything! Special mention for handling a food allergy better than any other restaurant I have seen.

I loved the food, atmosphere and friendliness of this place. Me and a group of friends had a fun evening of celebration. Nice selection of dishes, the menu is updated regularly! My only slight complaint was that I booked months in advance for a birthday party. I made a point of asking if it was wheelchair accessible which I was told it was. I was then told a few days before that in fact it isn't. I was glad they phoned before hand otherwise it would have ruined the evening. I would go back but not with someone using a wheelchair.

I went with two friends who eat here often and totally understand why. The Umbrian style menu is excellent. The staff are good and know exactly how to pace service. Their wine list is very wide but features 4 recommended Montefalco wines and we thought the red very good. As we split up we all agreed to meet there in July. There can be no better recommendation.

An enjoyable lunch for a first visit. Bruschetta, Burrata and orange salad starters all delicious and well presented. The Cod main was great. We didn't have wine but drinks we had all prepared well.

Starters were very good. Mains were fine, the pappardelle lamb and the sea bass were good, the calves liver & cabbage ‘ok’. Desserts were alright…disappointed that panettone pudding was not available, as nor was the Soave.

The staff is always attentive and welcoming and the menu is varied and dishes are well prepared. It is one of our go to restaurants when we visit London for theatre and museum exhibitions.

Delightful little gem hidden in the bustle of Soho. The food is truly outstanding - the cod was possibly the best fish dish I have ever eaten. Great service too - will definitely be back.

A beautiful meal with friends after a theatre matinee. The play finished earlier than I thought, but we took a chance on being allowed in an hour early and the charming front of house manager seated us by the open window, which was perfect on a sunny spring evening. All the staff were friendly, discreetly attentive and took care checking ingredients for two of our party with allergies. The food was superb and we can recommend the sea bass. This was the first time any of us had eaten at Vasco & Piero's and we all thoroughly enjoyed our evening there.

Wonderful restaurant. Great to have a slightly different menu than every other Italian restaurant. Staff were quite attentive and prices were reasonable for Soho. We will definitely be going back again soon!

A quick pre theatre dinner but still the whole experience was very good. Lovely welcome, order taken swiftly and food arrived freshly prepared and delicious. The homemade Parmesan crisps are not to be missed. Will be back.

I chose Vasco & Piero's for an annual reunion of old friends, and particularly because of the Glass Room which promised to afford some privacy. From the word go the staff could not have been more attentive, and the food and wine were excellent; as a result the ambience was perfect, and the venue was universally applauded. Thank you for a superb evening - we will certainly hope to return next year!

This is a wonderful restaurant that delivers in all areas but for a foodie like myself- their excellent daily refreshed menu based on what they have access to on the day never disappoints. If you have not been you are one meal away from being a regular.

Lovely friendly staff and great food. We had dinner on Friday evening and really enjoyed our experience. The food was delicious and well presented. Traditional style restaurant which is a pleasure to visit.

Great food and Service. My wife had Cod and I had the Tuscan Sausages both were superb. If you are looking for authentic freshly made Italian food this is the place. Hopefully will return soon.

An exceptional yellow fin tuna carpaccio, Parmesan chips, Tuscan sausage, home-made pasta. Very friendly welcoming service. Ambience and setting gives plenty of space and no intrusive music… just hum of conversation.

The food at Vasco is always on par for them which is excellent! I like that the main stay favorites are always there but with a seasonally changing menu as well. The wine list provides a wide range of options. But the best part about eating at Vasco is that the service is always attentive and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We live in the USA and have been going to this restaurant for years and will continue to do so!

Sadly (for the restaurant) it was very quiet but my friend & I enjoyed our meal very much. The staff are welcoming & delightful, and the food is exquisite. A little pricey but we had delicious pasta dishes as our mains which we thought were reasonably priced. A lovely restaurant and we'll definitely return.

Arrived early and was greeted by friendly welcoming staff. Delicious fresh food served by attentive staff. Lovely atmosphere. Little gem, will definitely be back.

Apart from the delectable dishes, the service truly stood out. Despite a slight hiccup with our dessert order being forgotten, our server, who was excellent throughout the evening, went above and beyond to rectify the situation and handled it with grace and sincerity, offering profuse apologies. To make amends, she generously treated each of us to a complimentary glass of Prosecco, even though our party consisted of six guests. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the outstanding desserts, and to our delight, they graciously waived the dessert charges for all of us. Their efforts to rectify the mistake exceeded our expectations by a significant margin.

My friends and I had a wonderful authentic Italian meal here. Dishes particularly enjoyed were the sardines, burrata caprese, Tuscan sausages with cannellini beans, tagliatelli with pork and beef ragu and hazelnut ice cream. We'll definitely return!

A simply delightful place to eat. The setting is intimate and quiet, a welcome difference from the West End's buzz. The staff are very polite, and show the passion they have for the restaurant, clearly independent in a world of chains. The food is simply delicious, I can't tell you how, but a magician clearly operates behind the counter. I would wholeheartedly recommend a visit.

Haven’t been here since Covid( they’ve moved location) but the staff and food were as lovely as I remember.

Outstanding. My first time in its new home Vasco & Piero’s has lost none of its charm, ambiance and authentic food.

This is one of the best restaurants in London. Personally I have been going over 20 years and it never disappoints. Gorgeous food, wonderful staff and I’m getting used to the new location.

We used to live around the corner from the old Vasco & Piero and have always loved it. We moved overseas and haven't visited for years - I'd heard that the old restaurant had closed, and I was delighted when I read that it had reopened in new premises. Our day had gone a bit awry because of the industrial action on the trains, so we had to slightly change the time of our reservation on the day, but they accommodated us with good grace, despite the restaurant being very busy. The food was absolutely delicious, the recommended wine was perfect (we hadn't realised we'd been sitting on the wine list - we thought it was a file belonging to our neighbour - oops). There was just the right level of buzz and chat, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. If there was a season ticket, I would buy one! Can't wait to go again.

Our party comprised three first timers and one been before. All four thoroughly enjoyed the experience - excellent food and drink, very good service, helpful staff and a great lively atmosphere. We'll all be back.
