Had a great diner at over, great italian food and ambiance!

Really nice restaurant! The food was tasty and the staff is friendly and kind, our waitress (Esther) was very helpful and made us have a good time. Highly recommended, will come back!

This was my first time here, after being recommended by a friend who wanted to go. The place is very well decorated and has a good atmosphere. The food is some of the best Italian I have ever eaten. Service was very good and food came quickly. Waiting staff were polite and offered recommendedations. A very nice cheeky spot for a date, will definitely impress.

I recently went the St James location for dinner. I ordered the prosciutto pizza. It was absolutely amazing and very good value. The restaurant has a great vibe and fantastic decor. I was served Pablo who provided a very good service, very polite, professional and attentive. Highly recommended the tiramasu!

Delicious and authentic Italian restaurant! The ingredients are fresh, the service is good, and I love the flowers on the table. The restaurant is very convenient in the city center. You can make an appointment with friends to go shopping nearby or have lunch or dinner after watching a theater show. 😍 Recommend 5 stars

We had a starter and a main and a bottle of a nice Ripasso wine. The Ravioli Amalfitano is warmly recommended, same for the Il Pallastro. Service is very professional and friendly, the whole place is run as it should be but not often met. Maybe a bit high priced, but quality is worth it.

Came here for the first time a year ago and it was amazing (food and service). Came back today and I dont know what has happened… menu has entirely changed, all staff are inexperienced and food is not as good (other than margherita)… shame

This was the second time in a month that I have eaten here and once again we had an excellent pre-theatre meal the food is excellent and value for money however I find the wine and drink prices a bit expensive. That said, I will be back in the future.

It's only my second time visiting the city of London, and during these days I wanted to explore Italian cuisine outside of our country. Not being from here, I didn't have the chance to make a reservation, but when I arrived, the staff at O'Ver managed to find a spot for me and my family on the terrace. Even though the summer here is not the warmest, it was a lovely experience where the service, outdoor music, and food were perfect. I have to say I was amazed by the quality of the products; burratas of this quality are hard to find even in Italy! As a vegetarian, I had a wide variety of options on the menu, and the staff, both Italian and non-Italian, were ready to answer any questions I had, despite my English not being the best. I felt at home, and this will definitely be a regular stop for my future trips. Thank you, O'Ver!

The staff was extremely rude and did not feel very welcomed even after we ended up paying a lot.

A friend who lives in London recommended it to me and he really couldn't suggest anything better. I was lucky enough to be served, exceptionally, by the Manager Gabriel who advised me on both food and beverage, offering me some fantastic combinations. I had a wonderful evening, highly recommended!!

Very central restaurant in the Piccadilly area. Attention to the smallest details. Excellent service. The raw fish and the first course with the freshest prawns are absolutely worth trying. Chef Giorgio is super good and helpful in explaining each dish. Rating 10/10

A beautiful restaurant in the heart of London. They have a spacious outside area but we chose to eat inside. It strikes you how clean this restaurant is. You can see them cooking the food. The food was excellent, very tasty and decent sized portions. The service was good, especially our server Drew.

The terrace is lovely and off busy streets, it was perfect for a summer day out in the sun. The staff were all lovely and very attentive, and made us feel welcome. The food was exceptional, and portions were just right. The tuna steak was exceptional and so were the raviolli, stuffed courgette flower and buratta. I also had a G&T which was proper, you could taste the gin, they did not serve watered down beverages here. All in all, a great italian restaurant with lots of options for everyone's taste!

Fiorillo di Zucca is a must have! The Polpetta meatballs were very homely— I don’t know what the “seawater bread” is exactly, but it’s the ideal absorbent to scoop up that tomato sauce. The mussels in Scialatiello Cozze, Polpo & Pecorino were a bit sandy, which proves right any hesitation to order mussels anywhere. The octopus made up for it though. The pasta is pleasantly fresh. Staff is very attentive and helpful. I’ll be back to try the pizza.

Delicious pasta & woodfired pizza, friendly and attentive wait staff, perfect atmosphere. Our new favourite spot, we will be back! I highly recommend their seafood pasta (can’t remember what it’s called) but it had a generous serving of mussels and octopus!

Lovely place, food was delicious and service was top notch. As others have said wine was quite expensive, but it was nice and considering the cost for the food was reasonable for the location we didn't mind. We'd definitely come back again :)

Ho sempre molte perplessità nell’andare in ristoranti italiani quando sono all’estero ma, consigliato da un amico e dalla curiosità, ci sono andato a pranzo con la mia famiglia. Ebbene, ho avuto una piena conferma degli ottimi giudizi altrui. La location sia fuori che dentro e’ molto bella e curata, un mix tra un ristorante chic e moderno. Tanti piccoli notevoli dettagli, da comodi cuscini dei tavoli esterni alla rosa presente in ogni tavolo. Dopo una serie di ottimi antipasti (crocche’, arancino e fiori di zucca), ho preso un sontuoso piatto di spaghetti con gamberi rossi di Mazara del Vallo e limone. Spettacolare. Mia moglie ha mangiato un pollo e i miei figli la loro “famosa” pizza (Margherita) che, a detta di mio figlio (da napoletano doc, amante della pizza), “è stata la migliore mai mangiata fuori Napoli”. Come desserts, tiramisù e gelato. Da bere un calice di Sauvignon. Infine, molto professionale lo staff e nello stesso di una gentilezza estrema. Da non perdere, consigliatissimo.

Had a great time at this O’ver. Didn’t expect much from a place so centrally located, but the food really surprised us completely. Tuna filet and pizza cooked to perfection. Couldn’t get it better at a top notch place in Italy. Shekar was our lovely waiter. We’ll come back and recommend it to everyone.

I ordered two dishes. The curry is very suitable for Chinese tastes. The lamb chops are a little sour and relatively crispy. The price is slightly higher. The two dishes are 70 pounds.

Nested in the vibrant center of London, after 13yrs living in this City, is was a nice discover! I can tell definetly a talented chef is behind the scenes to orchestrate such armony of flavours and aromas. Each dish was a masterpiece crafted with precision and passion. Bravi ragazzi!

Fantastic week in the city of London, visiting for the first time, I wanted to eat Italian and on Google I came across O'ver... a very nice and welcoming Italian restaurant, as well as the staff made up of young people who are always friendly and smiling. Elegant welcome: a champagne accompanies a delicious entreé. No difficulty in ordering, I dined with raw land-sea starters that were beautiful to look at, delicate and tasty on the palate, as a first course I opted for the simply divine Genoese candles! For the second return to the sea with a tuna fillet, the perfect cooking naturally enhances the flavour. I conclude with a tiramisu that takes me home with every bite. What to say? Highly recommended o'ver!!

On a pleasure trip to London we find ourselves near the central Piccadilly. Attracted first by the name, then by the refinement of the location, we book a dinner at O'ver: it would be an understatement to say that we had a great time! Welcomed with kindness and professionalism, a real tasting of dishes begins which are first eaten with the eyes and then release technique and balance, the result of a mastery in the transformation of high quality raw materials, sometimes coming from the best Made in Italy PDOs , served and explained individually by the dining room staff. At that point we just have to send our compliments to chef Giorgio who, dressed in white but also with humility, came to the table to thank us personally. An experience that I recommend to anyone who finds themselves passing through beautiful London!

I went back to the restaurant O' ver in st James and confirmed my positive experience. Efficient and professional service, all very kind and attentive. I tried the traditional Neapolitan street food and it was really good. Afterwards I asked for a pizza of the head pizza chef's choice and they brought me a Margherita base with buffalo mozzarella, artichokes and dry ham. An explosion of flavours.. truly divine. We finished with two very tasty desserts. Great experience to return to ASAP

A small corner of Italy in the heart of London. Very welcoming and well-kept place, the manager delights us with a welcome champagne before starting with the starters: Tuna tartare served with a basil mouse and mascarpone, golden and fried artichokes served with nduja mayonnaise, courgette flower stuffed with ricotta fresh buffalo, sciacca anchovies and black pepper continuing with the first Amalfi Raviolo stuffed with buffalo ricotta and Sorrento lemon cooked in a yellow datterino sauce the chef (Giorgio) 🧑‍🍳 came directly to the table to explain the dishes to us as II ° first course Spaghetti from Gragnano with clams and bottarga, to finish a slice of wild tuna served on cannellini bean cream accompanied by a Sicilian wine, to finish cannoli decomposed with a drink. Excellent dinner, attentive and very helpful service, what can I say, I had a great time 💯

Wart ever pizza and SERVICE I been at Saint James brunch last evening I was everything completely messy in the service Been served a super super dry pizza Margherita, I was straggling to eat, after just one eaten slice the waiter ( I assume Indian lady) she did place all table cutlery in my pizza and did bring away, I was, ok what’s going on??? I did not ask to take away the pizza, anyway did not even received an apologise about that and I clearly told the manager about anyway the funniest part been to receive the bill with the pizza included witch as far was the driest ever had ( a sort of tasted bread) I even had to pay for it and in the mean time had this waiter come at the table super annoyed ( I can tell hospitality is going wart everyday more)

We ate this evening in this Italian restaurant. We recommend, the dishes were very good, especially the pizzas. The service and the setting were very pleasant.

Sono stato in entrambe le sedi di 'O Ver e si mangia da paura. In entrambi i locali ho trovato eleganza ed attenzione per i dettagli. La cucina è favolosa: su tutti consiglio il "Fusillo Paolone" e la Parmigiana. Ci si sente a casa e si mangia meglio che in alcuni ristoranti italiani. Se siete a Londra non potete perdervelo.

Locale molto elegante, servizio impeccabile personale molto gentile, e lo chef Giorgio che dire ! Eccezionale ! Piatti ricercati, elaborati e buonissimi! Un posto fuori dallo standard londinese! Lo consiglio a tutti !

The restaurant refuses children inside after 6PM... They are accepted on the terrasse... It's 5 degrees outside. I don't know if it's very common in the UK but I never heard something like this!

Located close to picadilly circus and a good location for pre theatre meal. Nice interior Had the street food Sharing plate- three items which could be shared between three and definitely enough for two. Had the meat balls which was very nice. Good negroni’s Good service. Managed to have two courses in an hour. £188 for two courses for three persons which was a bit excessive for a pre-theatre meal!

Les plats sont vraiment délicieux et le cadre est très beau. Rien qu'à l'aspect des plats ont voit que c'est de la vrai cuisine italienne et pas de l'imitation comme le font beaucoup de restaurants qui se disent italiens. Et quant on goûte le plat cela se confirme. Vraiment je le recommande.

The food was excellent but the service was lacking tonight. Took 20 mins before they even took our drink and food order. After we ate, it took another 20+ mins to take our dessert order after they gave us a dessert menu. They cleaned the dishes and tables quickly though.. Just took forever to take orders. We weren't planning to, but ended up spending over 2+ hours there.
