From an Italiano to an Italian restaurant. The restaurant has both cozy and elegant atmosphere. The dinner was absolutely delicious: we enjoyed every dish, well presented, fresh ingredients and unique flavours. Service was excellent. Indeed, the perfect place in London for who would like to taste italian flavours!

We felt really lucky to get a table at this restaurant. Absolutely amazing mushroom risotto, spaghetti gamberi, and buratta dishes. The flavours are distinct and clear, and the service was fantastic.

The food was quite good in terms of quality, with one drawback, the pasta plate was a bit small. Special mention should be made of the treatment of the hostess, which was spectacular.

Pretentious. One word could be enough to describe the entire experience. While food was good to very good, service swung from bad to awkward (at 15% service charge).

Good authentic food. Pizzas are their specialty in my opinion. A bit on the expensive side but worth it in my opinion for the service and ambience.

I want to emphasize that the service was great and it was a very nice place- but the food- so mediocre! The bruschetta was bland and forgettable- not nasty but just eh. The pizza much of the same- and a textural nightmare even by the standards of neopolitan pizza. Also overpriced for what you get. Tons of better pizza places of this kind all over London- this is one of those well it’s a bit late and I saw a show at the ICA- and this seems like a close place to get a good bite.

Probably one of the best pizzas in town. Friendly service. We had a birthday lunch celebration here for 5 people, and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. Good Italian wine too!

We settled on this charming eaterie for a pre-theatre meal and boy, we're we glad we chose this place! From the start, welcomed into a modern chic room with open kitchen showing the pizza creations, and a smart bar top with seating. The table are well proportioned and comfortable leather seating. The staff are friendly, professional and clearly care about service and the quality of the food that they provide. The wine list is excellent, we had the sicilian red, and I noted that all bar 1 of the wine offerings was Italian! We shared the Bruschetta to start, which was delightfully tasty, with fruity, sweet tomatoes. Then my partner had truffle tagliatelle whilst I had fusilo with Italian sausage. Both dishes were excellent and throughout the service was attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed (nay, loved) our meal here, and will be returning as soon as we can arrange a london break!

Overall it wasn't bad, but I can't say the food was very delicious. The truffle pasta was good, we did not like the pizzas and tiramisu. The tiramisu was particularly disappointing for us. But the service and atmosphere werr fine. Thanks!

Food is good, but service was mediocre and inattentive, and it was rather poor form for the waitress to try to ask for an additional tip on the card machine after having already charging a 15% service charge!

The place is lovely and cozy, the service was exceptional. But the food wasn’t what we expected. We ordered truffle burrata, mozzarella with aubergine, and spicy pizza with strachatella. Aubergine was the most delicious dish we had. Pizza was just ok, and burrata lacked any interesting taste. Cocktails were good.

I booked twice for this place and as an Italian I found extremely disappointing that they had a “unexpected private event” with only 2hs notice. I have trailing emails of them begging me to go have dinner in their “private dining room” (my lawyer said this was a basement ahah). Amici, wake up. See you never, my industry knows about your “resevation system” failure. Will do my best not to recommend this place to my wide network.

I recently dined at O’ Ver St. James on a bustling Saturday night, and I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. Despite my last-minute reservation, everyone was very welcoming and made me feel right at home. The ambiance was very relaxing , and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great service and outstanding Neapolitan food!

Fantastico! The food was very good! Parmigiana,arancini,carpaccio and tartare were divine. The pizza and mains were full of flavor, Amazing! The staff was welcoming and Always attentive. We'll definitely be back.

While the pizza was great as were the starters, the pasta did not live up to expectations. Would probably return if it weren’t for the customer service, which was disappointing. The lady serving us appeared annoyed all evening, didn’t check in unless called on repeatedly, almost threw the cutlery and plates on the table, and despite announcing at the beginning that they needed the table back after 1.5 hours, was incredibly slow in taking orders and responding to requests. EDIT: had to reduce to 1 star as partner ended up with symptoms of food poisoning hours after our visit.

If you like napolitan pizza, this is the place to go. Exceptionally good pizza with the perfect crust, right amount of olive oil and made from high quality ingredients. Not sure if on Top50 list this year but it is absolutely worth to visit. Ravioli were very good, interesting flavour, ragu filling super tasty and full of flavour. We also tried the focaccia with parmesan - good but reminded us a pizza dough. Overall, great place for a dinner. We had an early dinner and were done within 1 hour. Staff was attentive and food prepared very quickly.

Best pizza in London, Over is an authentic Italian restaurant and definitely my favorite place to go when I’m home sick of my country! Ostuni pizza is my favorite, also loved Parmigiana and Ravioli. Service attentive and kind from Sheka.

Amazing pizza. Literally top 100 in the world. If you are a half a mile away at a tourist trap stop what you are doing and come to this place. The place is booked after 8:00 p.m., but if you get here by 6:00 you can get a table, have delicious pizza pasta, salads, and buratta with eggplant, and you will be very happy

Considering the average cost of around £50 per person, this was a letdown. Despite the charming ambiance and attentive service, O’ver’s food doesn’t quite justify its price point. As much as I enjoyed the cozy environment, I would recommend exploring other options if you’re looking for a more authentic taste of Italian cuisine.

Even though I got dinner here on a Monday night I’m stunned that this place wasn’t packed. The restaurant itself is cosy and feels boutique inside - would be an absolute banger for a date. Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious - I think the arancini starter was maybe the best arancini I have had in my life - and came out promptly and beautifully prepared. The staff as well were extremely attentive without being overbearing. Special shout out to Fia (whose name I may be spelling wrong), who was an especially great server and really made the evening. 11/10, would go again and will if I get the chance!

We first visited this restaurant some time ago as part of a London Restaurant Festival/AMEX hopping tour. It was excellent then, and we have been back several times since. Yesterday we attended another Restaurant Festival/AMEX event (4 of us) for lunch provided by this restaurant and 3 other nearby restaurants. The chef came out to speak, and we leant that he uses water from the mediterrean to make the pizzas to avoid adding more salt. The set up (outside), service, food, and atmosphere was excellent! The sunshine helped, but the pizza and and especially the Parmigiana were amazing. Everyone said they wouldn't normally order aubergine, but this was so good. Despite being right in the centre of London, O ver have managed to retain the quality of their food. Not a 'cheap eat', but you get wat you pay for. Great event guys! Thoroughly recommend.

The service was a little slow at times and I was given an odd look when I turned down desert for some reason. I always tip and I really despise the 15-% compulsory service charge they add. Food was good though not with five stars.

The food in the “O ver” restaurant was simply incredibly delicious. The pizza was perfectly baked with a crispy edge and fresh ingredients, and the pasta was to die for - seasoned just right and cooked to perfection. What was particularly impressive was how quickly the food was served, even though the restaurant was busy. The portions were sized just right, so you'll be full without feeling overloaded. Overall a perfect dinner experience, I'll definitely be back!

AMAZING pasta! My friend and I just wanted some good Italian food and we actually ended up in one of the best places i’ve been. The stuff was amazing, very prepared, helping us to choose the right dishes for our dinner. The special of the day was so delicious, and the prawn pasta even better! We loved it! Very recommended and please get the Croccante as a dessert, absolutely divine!!

This was my first time here, after being recommended by a friend who wanted to go. The place is very well decorated and has a good atmosphere. The food is some of the best Italian I have ever eaten. Service was very good and food came quickly. Waiting staff were polite and offered recommendedations. A very nice cheeky spot for a date, will definitely impress.

I recently went the St James location for dinner. I ordered the prosciutto pizza. It was absolutely amazing and very good value. The restaurant has a great vibe and fantastic decor. I was served Pablo who provided a very good service, very polite, professional and attentive. Highly recommended the tiramasu!

We had a starter and a main and a bottle of a nice Ripasso wine. The Ravioli Amalfitano is warmly recommended, same for the Il Pallastro. Service is very professional and friendly, the whole place is run as it should be but not often met. Maybe a bit high priced, but quality is worth it.

Came here for the first time a year ago and it was amazing (food and service). Came back today and I dont know what has happened… menu has entirely changed, all staff are inexperienced and food is not as good (other than margherita)… shame

It's only my second time visiting the city of London, and during these days I wanted to explore Italian cuisine outside of our country. Not being from here, I didn't have the chance to make a reservation, but when I arrived, the staff at O'Ver managed to find a spot for me and my family on the terrace. Even though the summer here is not the warmest, it was a lovely experience where the service, outdoor music, and food were perfect. I have to say I was amazed by the quality of the products; burratas of this quality are hard to find even in Italy! As a vegetarian, I had a wide variety of options on the menu, and the staff, both Italian and non-Italian, were ready to answer any questions I had, despite my English not being the best. I felt at home, and this will definitely be a regular stop for my future trips. Thank you, O'Ver!

A friend who lives in London recommended it to me and he really couldn't suggest anything better. I was lucky enough to be served, exceptionally, by the Manager Gabriel who advised me on both food and beverage, offering me some fantastic combinations. I had a wonderful evening, highly recommended!!

Very central restaurant in the Piccadilly area. Attention to the smallest details. Excellent service. The raw fish and the first course with the freshest prawns are absolutely worth trying. Chef Giorgio is super good and helpful in explaining each dish. Rating 10/10

A beautiful restaurant in the heart of London. They have a spacious outside area but we chose to eat inside. It strikes you how clean this restaurant is. You can see them cooking the food. The food was excellent, very tasty and decent sized portions. The service was good, especially our server Drew.

The terrace is lovely and off busy streets, it was perfect for a summer day out in the sun. The staff were all lovely and very attentive, and made us feel welcome. The food was exceptional, and portions were just right. The tuna steak was exceptional and so were the raviolli, stuffed courgette flower and buratta. I also had a G&T which was proper, you could taste the gin, they did not serve watered down beverages here. All in all, a great italian restaurant with lots of options for everyone's taste!

Fiorillo di Zucca is a must have! The Polpetta meatballs were very homely— I don’t know what the “seawater bread” is exactly, but it’s the ideal absorbent to scoop up that tomato sauce. The mussels in Scialatiello Cozze, Polpo & Pecorino were a bit sandy, which proves right any hesitation to order mussels anywhere. The octopus made up for it though. The pasta is pleasantly fresh. Staff is very attentive and helpful. I’ll be back to try the pizza.

Ho sempre molte perplessità nell’andare in ristoranti italiani quando sono all’estero ma, consigliato da un amico e dalla curiosità, ci sono andato a pranzo con la mia famiglia. Ebbene, ho avuto una piena conferma degli ottimi giudizi altrui. La location sia fuori che dentro e’ molto bella e curata, un mix tra un ristorante chic e moderno. Tanti piccoli notevoli dettagli, da comodi cuscini dei tavoli esterni alla rosa presente in ogni tavolo. Dopo una serie di ottimi antipasti (crocche’, arancino e fiori di zucca), ho preso un sontuoso piatto di spaghetti con gamberi rossi di Mazara del Vallo e limone. Spettacolare. Mia moglie ha mangiato un pollo e i miei figli la loro “famosa” pizza (Margherita) che, a detta di mio figlio (da napoletano doc, amante della pizza), “è stata la migliore mai mangiata fuori Napoli”. Come desserts, tiramisù e gelato. Da bere un calice di Sauvignon. Infine, molto professionale lo staff e nello stesso di una gentilezza estrema. Da non perdere, consigliatissimo.

Had a great time at this O’ver. Didn’t expect much from a place so centrally located, but the food really surprised us completely. Tuna filet and pizza cooked to perfection. Couldn’t get it better at a top notch place in Italy. Shekar was our lovely waiter. We’ll come back and recommend it to everyone.

I ordered two dishes. The curry is very suitable for Chinese tastes. The lamb chops are a little sour and relatively crispy. The price is slightly higher. The two dishes are 70 pounds.
