We were visiting a dear friend who lives just a few blocks away from this delightful restaurant. He suggested we go to Sergios for a late lunch before we caught our train back home. Wow,what an experience. Famous faces adorn the brightly decorated walls leaving no doubt what was in store for us. The staff knew our friend, so the welcome was second to none. We all chose the starter of fresh mozzarella with asparagus and a swirl of delicious crispy bacon. All are presented in a very artistic way. It's just delicious. The main courses were prawn linguine and pasta carbonara. Again, the dishes were beautifully presented and extremely tasty. This was all washed down by a " few " bottles of Pinot Noir. We couldn't manage a dessert...just to full up. 😋 Worth travelling 2 hours on a train. We will most definitely visit again. 10/10.

We visited last Saturday with some friends of ours and this was only my second visit having been very pleased the first time we came to this restaurant a few months ago. We were not disappointed the service was fantastic. The food was delicious and the only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 was because unfortunately the tables are exceptionally close together and the table behind us was exceedingly loud. The management actually did apologise for their noise and they were rather cheesed off with that table I believe, but hey ho what can you do. It would not stop us returning and we will do soon. My husband and I had the prawn linguine which was a special of the day and it was absolutely delicious. Our friends had seabass and veal both of them also opted for the lemon sauce with each. There were some dietary requirements which were attended to with no fuss at all. They could not have been more helpful and pleasant all in all a lovely lovely evening was had and we look forward to our return visit.

Best restaurant experience i’ve ever had? I Think so. The staff and the food was just amazing. Me, my girlfriend and her sister were in London for 3 days and ate here 2 times. After the first time we just had to come back. I’m allergic to milk and they had 4 different waiters checking the food just to be sure. They were extremely caring and interested in me and my allergy. The staff also had a good sense of humor and were overall just amazing. Besides the amazing staff the food were just incredible. Two weeks prior to our trip to we were in Naples. The food at Sergio’s beats every restaurant we ate at in Italy. I’ll be back in London some day, and this will without a doubt be the first place i will eat.

Absolutely fabulous food ave service at reasonable prices. The staff were very friendly and had the perfect level of interaction. A truly memorable dining experience.

My daughter and I were in London for less than 24 hours and she requested Italian food. We quite literally stumbled upon Sergio’s on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was packed and full of energy. Our table was steps away from the bar. As Americans, we could not have felt more welcome! The entire staff was friendly, upbeat, and generous. Thank you for our delicious meals and the wonderful hospitality. If we weren’t flying back to the US, we would visit tomorrow. Thank you to the wonderful people who work at Sergio’s!!! You are lovely!

Sergio’s is a fantastic experience all the way around, it starts first with the people. Friendly and personable. Dottie, Kasha, Hamza were attentive and engaging. We cannot say enough good things about them. We began our evening with a glass of Prosecco, accompanied with a mixed variety of olives w/ bright sliced citrus enhancing the flavors, which was perfect to snack. Along with the seafood salad: perfectly tender octopus, squid, mussels and clams. For our main course we enjoyed the evening special: king prawns w/spicy linguine. The prawns were split, and were nearly as large as your hand. The Veal Limone, a mainstay on the menu was tender and accompanied with shaved Parmesan and crisp arugula greens. We closed out the evening with an espresso and limoncello while sharing a delightful chat with Dottie. Her personality radiated, she was so welcoming and engaging which truly made you feel like family. Highly recommend you make Sergios part of your London journey, if you’re looking for authentic Italian with a neighborhood vibe, you’ve truly found the right place!

Everything was great. Service a little slow to begin with. Only problem is we booked outside seating but when we got there, we were told this wasn’t available/ you can’t book outdoors. We would have booked elsewhere if we had known this as we wanted to be outside.

Everytime you go to Sergio’s you leave with a smile the service is so warm and welcoming as is the food. Always a default when we want a wonderfully welcoming evening with smiles and great food! Oh and Dotty she’s so lovely always serving with a smile engaging warmly and we even got hugs when saying goodbye!

Absolutely unbelievable as always. Kosta. Dorota (aka Dotty) and the team make it special for me every year. I always feel like family. Kosta the owner has the ability to hand pick staff that make your team experience here magical. Suzie started today but you would never have know that, she was fantastic. Hamza is truly the best mixologist and an absolute credit to the restaurant. I have been choosing this restaurant as my special birthday meal for the last 3 years and plan to continue this tradition. Kosta, you and Dotty honestly make me feel like part of your family’s. Thank you so. See you all soon ❤️

We had a great meal and service. Turned up an hour early for our reservation and it wasn’t a problem. The food was excellent. We had the Lobster special and Fillet steak - medium rare and cooked to perfection. Desserts were lovely and nice to see things that are not chocolate based on the menu - partner is allergic to chocolate. Service was attentive. We will be back.

Great food as usual, we have eaten here a few times. And I’m sure there will be many more! The only down side is drinks can take a while too come out, but it’s not a major issue.

This was our second (but not last) visit to this charming and rather bustling restaurant, with great ambience, where the energetic proprietor is front and central to most everything that goes on. Service is very attentive and helpful , including moving us to avoid a somewhat noisy adjacent table. As others have commented the restaurant walls are covered with pictures of (many) famous people who have visited the establishment. The food was excellent (we tried both the pasta and the pizza) and the helpings were generous and the recommended wine was very good too. And, given this is in Fitzrovia, the bill was very reasonable. A very pleasant way to spend a post theatre evening!

The owner, Kostos Georgiou, is incredible! After noticing my phone had disappeared Kostos helped me look for it both in and outside the lovely restaurant on a chilly, rainy night. Assuming I had been pickpocketed, he kindly offered to buy us drinks and suggested what I could do the next day to replace my phone. As I insisted I had it when I came in, Kostos took out his phone and showed me the video tape so we could try to figure out what happened to the phone. We spent about 10 minutes looking for it, when a waiter heard ringing (Thanks FindMyPhone) coming from the menu basket. It turns out my phone had been collected inside one of the menus after we ordered. We all cheered and the rest of the night was great!

Costas and the team go that extra mile to make you feel both special and one of the family. The restaurant is a very lively and family friendly Italian Restaurant which is lovely to see in the heart of London. The food is excellent and the portion sizes are "big". I will definitely be returning

A very enjoyable meal with attentive service and great atmosphere

My girlfriend and I had an amazing dining experience last Saturday. I always get the Calzone here still love it. Girlfiend had the Lasagna which was boring choice but also tasted great The calamari and scallops starters were also delicious. We were thoroughly stuffed but enjoyed dessert and the complimentary Baileys on ice. The staff really love their jobs and each other. Fantastic atmosphere.

The food and cocktails were amazing, i’ve been here a few times and it’s by far my favourite restaurant. Our waitress Kasia, was amazing, she looked after us and made the stay even more welcome. Definitely recommend!

I love this restaurant. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The menu is good with lots of options for everyone. I arrived 30 mins earlier and they let me go to my table early. It was raining so that was really nice of them.

We had another great time at Sergios. We just keep coming back because something unexpectedly crackers happens each time - getting grief counselling from a very charming Matt Goss was a recent highlight. Quality and quantity should not be mutually exclusive, and that is the case here: lavish amounts of good food, with service that is familiar, convivial and good humoured. Also, I noticed that the mark up on the wine is far less than many other places, meaning their intention is not just to increase the bottom line but to give good value and all the more reason to buy a third bottle.

Tasty food, a little on the expensive side but very generous portions which makes up for it. Friendly service and we were not rushed and had our table for the whole evening. Busy and bustling environment, ideal for friends and families.

We were recommended by family who had eaten here before. We were a group of four looking for a bite to eat before heading to the 02. When we arrived the place was totally done out big style in Valentines day balloons etc. I guess Italian food and romance goes hand in hand! We were sat down in the corner which I think which is why we were forgotten for 15 minutes. Eventually we ordered. The food was average at best . Monkfish overcooked but tasted ok. Prawn cocktail lacked flavour. Overall ok but probably wouldnt return.

Staff really friendly. The free strawberry shot at the end a great extra. All great except thought it was rather expensive for what we got.

Long established, lovely authentic restaurant. Great atmosphere, varied menu, delicious food and friendly staff. Pleasant outdoor seating when weather permits. Been a favourite for many years. Good value but there is a 12.5% service charge added.

A real disappointment. Started off well with a nice friendly greeting by a lady who seated us and took our drinks order but after that it went down hill. The man who tended to our table appeared not to be in a great mood and made strange grumbling noises each time he was at our table. Food was average at best but at their prices we were expecting much better. Even an Italian favourite like Tiramisu was a let down. Plus little things like an espresso served in a large cappuccino cup let the place down.

Another great meal in Sergio's. The service is always so good and friendly, they don't rush you and are always on hand to advise on the menu choices. The food is simply amazing. Can't recommend enough!!

We came for a meal after work, four friends. The restaurant is fun and the ambience was jolly. The food was exceptional, we had olives, bruschetta and calamari to start. Then my vegan friend had an Aubergine bake, two of us had the Prawn risotto and a wild boar pappardelle. The wine was excellent too, we had the Don David Malbec. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Some of the best Italian food I've ever eaten - and I eat lots of Italian food! We were eating prior to a theatre visit, so the prompt service helped massively. I'm also not sure how they can offer such great value-for-money in the heart of London.
