Rather mundane pasta dishes, which we might have had in any cafeteria. Having visited Napoli two weeks ago, this is a low point. Prices are too high for this quality, sadly. Will not be back

Upon entering the restaurant I asked to sit outside, but was informed to stay inside because it would rain - 10 minutes later other customers were sitting on the tables outside. The treatment that I received was appalling- very rude staff members. I believe racism may have played a part in my experience. What’s worse, the food was dreadful - very disappointing experience!

Il ristorante ci è stato consigliato dall'hotel dove alloggiavamo e nonostante la mia diffidenza per mangiare italiano all'estero ho invece avuto una piacevole sorpresa. Il personale si è dimostrato molto gentile e il proprietario di origine abruzzese ha fatto di tutto per metterci a nostro agio. Per quanto riguarda il cibo segnalo in particolare le penne all'arrabbiata superiori a molti ristoranti in Italia e tutti gli antipasti semplici e meno ma con sapori italiani (pomodoro, mozzarella, olio etc.) e per finire segnalo anche il caffè anche questo di sapore "italiano". Sicuramente quando ritornerò a Londra sarò di nuovo vostro ospite. Carlo e Monica

Whenever we are in London, we try to have dinner at Bizzarro. Convenient to the Hilton London Paddington, the food and service have been consistently excellent over the years. This time was no exception; in fact, it was even better than we remembered. Many thanks to Jose and to our waiter, Antonio, for a lovely birthday dinner for my missus. We look forward to seeing you on our next trip to London.

Nice Italian restaurant with affordable prices

We went there by chance, and it was a great success. From the moment you enter, the waiters are very friendly. The food is very good and reasonably priced, for London, very good. The bathrooms are very clean. A 100% recommended option to eat in London. Yes We will return, we will repeat for sure!

We had a wonderful dining experience. The highlight of the evening was the outstanding service provided by Wannia. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. spaghetti carbonara was simply amazing. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!

We were 5 people with 2 children, the food is excellent, I have tried many Italians and this is the best. The wonderful staff. We even repeated another night because of how much we liked it and how well they treated us. They make you speak your language. It was expensive for London and the portions are large, you can even share them. If it's always full, there's a reason. We will definitely repeat if we ever return to London.

First time here tonight, will definitely make it a 2nd stop before we head home.

The host was very warm friendly, but the server came across rude - I want to give some benefit of doubt that this could be a cultural difference and misunderstanding but the other tables definitely felt it too. The food was authentic Italian, similar to what we had in Rome. We had a filled pasta with spinach and the vegetariana pizza which were both delicious. The tiramisu was very well balanced as well. We went on a Wednesday evening around 6:30 and got a table for dinner, but when we stepped out around an hour later there was a line outside.

Very touristy restaurant, average food. Good gf and veggie options though.

The food was really delicious, although the four cheese pizza was very, very oily, the all-meat pizza was also very oily and fell apart, you couldn't even pick it up, but it is true that both were very good in taste. The staff is very attentive and friendly, but if you want to be quiet, this is not your place, there is hardly any space between the tables and it is very difficult to move around the place.

Exceptional place, 100% Italian food, I highlight the vegetable lasagna, we have also tried pizzas and pastas and they are 10! Fully recommendable

We went for lunch, excellent quality Italian food. While waiting for the dishes ordered, we were offered a truly exceptional focaccia with rosemary. Super friendly and helpful staff. On our next trip to London we will definitely come back here to eat. Super recommended place!

We would like to thank the wonderful staff, for a delightful experience. This is a terrific restaurant, with a wonderful ambience, authenticity, friendliness and excellent food, at very reasonsble prices. Arrancini ricotta, & paper thin garlic flatbread for starters were divine..one veg lasagne, a meat lasagne and Pizza Arrabiata were all faultless. The homemade tiramisu, was a definite case of saving the best for last. The staff helped us tremendously to give our sister a memorable birthday experience. ...in fine voice 😍. We paid very reasonable corkage so that we could enjoy a pre-bought Moet & Chandon Reserva, which was chilled to perfection. Lucky are the locals of Paddington to have such a gem in the heart of London. We will definitely be back. 💙

Unfortunately tasteless food and stressed “service”. Some would call this a tourist trap 🪤

During our stay in London we were there twice, and both times we felt very well taken care of, the pasta is spectacular and the staff is super nice. We were grateful to be able to eat at midday cool and calm in such a large city and without the culture of stopping to eat at midday.

Great food and atmostphere, busy restaurant so you might have to wait 25-30’ for the mains, but the food is really delicious and good value for money.

Food is good and price is reasonable. Restarant is very busy and it takes a while to get the food. Staff is a little rude as he brings us the bill in the middle of the meal with the credit card machine. At first I thought it was a mistake bringing me the bill and I confirmed with server if he wanted me to pay first and he nodded his head. I just find it odd and rude. Otherwise, food taste good and will definitely go back and give it another try.

This is a solid 5, They are a fabulous restaurant that seems to be packed but they move fast through tables. The food is among the best pastas and you will be impressed. Fresh pastas cooked a perfect al dente ! The servers despite being swamped were patient and very helpful and accurate in their guidance. I have not been to Italia yet, but I have been to hundreds of Italian restaurants and eaten in the homes of some of the best mama pasta, and this place exceeded every other Italian meal I have had for pasta perfection. It’s worth the walk from paddington station in every way. The place doesn’t slow down until they close, book ahead if you can or plan to spend some time in the near by shops if you have to wait a bit for your table. What a gem of place hidden away and tucked in the streets of London. As we were sitting here a regular came in (and was talking quietly with his friends and family and saying how great this place was, a testimony to home solid this place is)

Very warm welcome despite the crowd, friendly staff, very good atmosphere. We had pizzas, very succulent and the desserts very good. We were treated to a limoncello after the meal.

This is a homely Italian restaurant. If you want to eat steamed Italian food, come here. It is completely different from the Italian food eaten in Korea. I came here and ate it several times while I was in London, and the spicy olive oil sprinkled on the pasta is a special oil from this restaurant, so it is spicy and makes the pasta even more flavorful. Grilled beef is also delicious.

This was the best meal we have had so far in London! We ordered smoked salmon fettuccine and gnocchi with four cheese; both were a hit and delicious! Oh where to begin!! Such an immersive experience from the moment you step inside the restaurant! We were in the area and decided to eat out on a Tuesday night - so grateful we came across Bizzarro! Our waiter, Ivan, was very friendly and took the time to make recommendations! Very generous portions! Amazing price! Will definitely be back, it felt like we traveled right into an authentic traditional Italian restaurant! Thank you!

The food was good. The waiters are not pleasant. Expensive for an Italian but of course, we are in London...

I had linguine with spinach and mushrooms with pieces of parmesan. Very, very tasty. After a week of strange food experiments in London, a relief! Food with spices and flavor! Pizza was also good and the neighbors' main courses seemed very appealing, and from what we observed they were. Prices reasonable. There is caffeine-free espresso! I was very happy about that.

The four stars *ARE NOT* for demerit but different evaluations but let's go in order: the place is not very large to look at but it is spacious and well organized for its size and - surprise surprise! - has a room on the lower floor; the service is fast but adequate for the success and the queue of booked/extemporaneous customers who crowd the tables or wait outside - hence the less star, even if given the acceptable times it is almost an injustice; the staff is courteous and professional and they speak Italian for those who don't speak English too much or for pure pleasure for themselves and others and in their running some take the time for a joke or a funny comment - and here the fifth star is restored (which it's there even if you can't see it); the food is decidedly good, taking into account the fact that their target is an international clientele and not just Italian, so look for things made the way your mother or grandmother made them there, from your mother and grandmother: in any case chicken with lemon or saltimbocca type (but with Marinara Sauce) or burrata with rocket, cherry tomatoes and croutons(!) passed with flying colors, asparagus with butter for an encore, like the mixed vegetables with potatoes, and good, child-proof pizza. Prices? First night £55 for three, second £49.80. So definitely honest. A visit is a must!

I had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant six times in a row, each time the dishes were delicious, I liked the lasagna and chocolate cake the most. The staff takes care of the guests, is very friendly, the decor is also a plus, and the prices are affordable. I have no objections. The photos show some of the dishes I had the opportunity to try.

Great food, good atmosphere, but only let down was that it was very rushed. Our mains arrived before our starters had finished, it felt like they wanted a quick turnover on the tables. It was a busy day and the queue outside was constant.

This restaurant serves great Authentic Italian food. The Carbonara was great. The Gorgonzola sirloin was very good. Waiter was professional and served with great enthusiasm. Waiting time was near zero but it was early in the evening. The restaurant is buzzing, busy and quite noisy

A little disappointed. Indeed, the praise on Google reviews rates this restaurant very well but nothing exceptional. The pasta is OK but it feels like a Canteen. People are rushing in all directions, the waiter will always find a place for you and you will eat in 20 minutes tops.

I went around 6:30 and it was already full, so I knew it was a good restaurant. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. There was a lot of food so I ate the rest and packed it up.

Traveling abroad with my family, I happened to see this Italian restaurant on the Internet. The overall review was quite good, and it was well deserved after the meal. The food was very delicious, the pasta and pizza were both great. The waiters were very kind and attentive. I will come back next time!

Popped in with only half an hour to spare until the last train of the night. Asked if it would be doable and the staff went out of their way to serve us quickly and the food was on the table within 5 min (pasta dishes). The pizzas looked amazing too. Staff were so friendly and could not do enough for you. A traditional Italian restaurant run by real Italians. Will definitely visit again when I have more time to get to enjoy more of the menu.

This is our favourite restaurant in London. Their Spaghetti Frutti De Mare is the best and so worth it. Recommended this to other friends as well and they keep on coming back too! Special thanks to Ivan who was very nice and accommodating. Top service!

The food was so good. The service was very quick and to the point. But still so sweet. I loved the pasta carbonate and garlic bread. If you tell the staff you want to share, they'll bring you extra plates! We spent ±£70 for 2 people for starters, mains and deserts. So ±£30 for 3 courses.
