I’ve been here 20 times The service has become terrible I called and booked a table for 5, said maybe we would be 6. We ended up being 4 The first thing I am told at the door is that they will charge me for the missing people. They said that in front of my guests Will never go back there

I expected better. Service wasn’t great, food nice but far from a decent value for money ratio. Over 100£ per person and only 1 glass of wine (entry level at 14 GBP per glass) and no dessert. I will not return.

Absolutely a place to visit, cozy atmosphere, excellent staff, above average product quality, excellent selection of wines, with great amazement an excellent coffee, and all the elegance of healthy and engaging Italy. Own production oil that comes from Tuscany... what can I say... everything is beautiful... it's one of those places you enter and never want to leave.

The absolute best Italian in London (dare I say even better than Italian food in Italy). Top notch service and the gnocchi is divine. Don’t forget to order the pistachio ice cream. If I could give 6 stars I would!

From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat. The entire experience was wonderful, from the delicious Italian seafood to the attentive service the manager Gianfranco was very professional. I definitely come back.

Tiny restaurant with good music and great food! Their lobster pasta and pistachio ice cream are MUST HAVES!

Space seafood restaurant! The former are exceptional, with an honorary mention for the pacchero. Also worth trying is the prawn tartare, of excellent quality, and if you have room at the end of the dinner the pistachio ice cream is a real treat. The venue is romantic, well-kept, suitable for a dinner for two and for special occasions. The tables are very close to each other and this creates some difficulties in serving and keeping dishes on the table. The dining room staff, almost all Italian, are knowledgeable and courteous. The prices are high, but fair for the quality offered.

After 10 years since I moved to London from Italy I've finally found a real Italian fish restaurant. I felt like home again. My preferred in London.

This restaurant is always on my go to list but it won’t be anymore. My friends and I were planning to have a celebration dinner on the 6th Feb 2024 and my friend had made a table booking. We arrived there at 7:20pm and we were greeted by a female receptionist. She searched our booking on the system and said ‘there is no such name and we are fully booked’ , which sounded rude already. So my friend was trying to check the booking record on the phone and this receptionist said we were on the way of the door and just urged us to leave. It was raining outside at that time and she didn’t exhibit any intention of helping or checking if she could accommodate us as it was a Tuesday night and we could see many tables available. We ended up found out my friend had made a wrong booking, but we were just not expecting this service at this fine restaurant as it positions itself. I worked in customer service myself and I will never speak to a customer like that. Maybe their staff need better training?

Now our best favorite fish restaurant in London! If you want a warm service and delicious food , big portions and attention to any detail this is the right place for you! We spent the Christmas lunch here and we felt like at home with friends. Service so attentive! We can't wait to come back again! We tried frittura the best ever in our Life, risotto with frutti di mare, paccheri, cicoria e calamari, Tiramisu espresso (mouthwatering!!) And tortino al cioccolato. I’m indian and I’ve traveled often to Italy in which I’ve tried the best dessert among all the desserts in the world: the tiramisu!! But the issue is that I always find italian restaurants in which they serve a poor version of it… well this time it was totally different!! Santo Mare serves one of the best Tiramisu I ever tried, thank you for the amazing service to Gianni and the rest of the crew

Today I travelled from Wales (Galles) to visit this restaurant. One of my dearest friends, Sebastiano, works here. He has over ten years of experience in the hospitality sector, and I certainly trust his recomandations. He was right: the food is incredible, with clearly fresh ingredients. Had recently tried Santo Mare. The food was good - nice selection of seafood and wine. However, our experience was ruined by the fact that our table was right next to the exit and bar - members of staff were constantly walking around our table which was creating some discomfort. We asked to change the table few times, but staff always advised us that all tables were reserved - however, we clearly saw other guests changing tables. We fully understand that it’s sometimes it can be difficult to switch tables, but I clearly did not book Franco Manco at the end of the day. However, waiter was great!

Highly delicious! Great starters and mains, especially good fresh desserts (tiramisu made in front of you and one of the best pistachio gelato I have ever tried). Brilliant service. Pricey.

Alas there was none and "good to know" was the best they could do. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for birthdays :(

I took a group of friends to dinner at Santomare, has been a fantastic dinner, starting from the elegant atmosphere of the restaurant. The service was impeccable, a particular praise goes to Alex who proved to be an excellent host. Very high quality food and wine. I will definitely return.

Very good place, focus on the details. The food is amazing and there are a lot of choice about the wines. The quality of the customers service is amazing, all of them are delegate very well from italian guy, his name is Alex, i think is the manager because he was very accurate in the details. 5 stars for this guy.

Chakir and Gregorio, our servers, made wonderful recommendations (especially the pistachio gelato- home made on site and the best I ever had, was amazing!) and Nevila, the hostess was so lovely and checked with us throughout the night to make sure we were enjoying everything. Had a wonderful Sunday lunch at Santo Mare. Sebastiano, our server, was both friendly and attentive. Following his recommendation, we tried the langoustine carpaccio as a starter—it was a burst of flavors. The Scorpio fish served guazzetto style for the main course was a perfect choice. The Sunday date ambiance, paired with the excellent service, made it a delightful experience. Highly recommended for a special date!
