Excellent food and ambience. Federico was very attentive and caring for us.

Food was great! Atmosphere was quiet to start bcs we were early and then became quite busy. What made our experience perfect was the excellent, attentive, and friendly service of Federico!! He inquired about our special occasion and, even though he was managing quite a number of other tables, he took initiative to make our celebration extra special. The Best!! Thank you very much Federico!!

Great but expensive Italian restaurant set in the heart of Mayfair - however please note that the lease is expiring and the venue will change! I took my wife for dinner to celebrate her birthday and we were rewarded with excellent service a lovely warm ambience and great food. We started with the fried Calamari and prawn dish alongside the grilled octopus. Both were cooked to perfection. Our mains was a special on the night - Pasta with Ragu served with 3 different meals. Again this was phenomenal. The staff also surprised us with a Tiramisu on a plate saying Happy Birthday which was a lovely touch. I'm curious to see which location this restaurant will end up as their lease is coming to an end and we were told that they were not renewing.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants I have visited in Mayfair. Guest engagement from Federiko was a 10/10 in every aspect possible. Service by Emilio was spectacular. They paid attention to all details possible. I highly recommend this place , and will definitely be back again.

Very pleasant ambience, friendly staff, very accommodating, delicious food. We came here on a Monday night. We were not rushed, but if we needed assistance, they were immediately there. Amazingly, the staff seem to be 100% Italian. They really knew how to make you feel good. Most of the places in the neighborhood were more ostentatious, but this place was very classy.

Bronzino prepared table side was fantastic, pastas around the table were exceptional. The entire experience was one of the best we have ever had anywhere in the world. Eduardo and the rest of the service team were impeccable. This is by far one of the best experiences we have ever had. our friend, fondly now known as Lady parmigiano was an added feature in the interaction with the entire staff made this so memorable. Our server last night was Nadia. She clearly loves her job! She’s a real people person. She gave us her recommendations and they were all excellent. Fantastic ambience, food and service. What a classy restaurant.

Lovely fine dining restaurant with delicious Italian food and friendly staff. The menu is very reasonably priced considering that it is in the heart of Mayfair. There are special Italian dishes that are not easily found. I had bresaola with rockets for appetiser and pizza. Good quality ingredients and cooked to high Italian standard. Everyone from the front desk to the table attendant and even the chef who came out to greet us are very friendly and helpful. We would certainly come back again when we revisit London.

My husband and I had dinner at Il Borro over the weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food, ambience, setting and experience was lovely, however, our waitress, Nadia was outstanding and really alleviated our whole experience of dining at the restaurant. She was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She provided us with great advice on our menu choices and once the food and drink had arrived, kept checking in on us (without being too fussy and intrusive) to ensure that we were happy. If you decide to dine at Il Borro, you won't be disappointed and if you have the pleasure of Nadia as your waitress you will have a truly wonderful evening.

As a regular i made a booking for thursday 25-4-2024 evening for 4 persons and confirmed the creditcard deposit and then suddenly i received an email your reservation is disappeared , so they sent me a new link to confirm the payment again which i did and now there is no reply anymore to the reservation. I am busy for almost 2 hours to make a simple booking as regular and to get a confirmation Through this way i want to tell the Il borro team to cancel my booking and i will never book again with Il Borro , neither will I compensate my staff for having lunch or dinner at Il Borro . I have better things to do then chasing you guys up for a simple confirmation. Gian Erdo

The service and vibes are amazing

We were a party of five people and I think we got the best table, right in front of the kitchen which enabled us to see how smooth it was running. We started with the cocktails at the bar, and these were the best Negronis I have ever had. The dining experience was sublime and the wine from Tuscany was delicious. The desserts were so yummy, that we have to try a bit form every one at the table. Nadia was looking after us and she was very chatty but professional at the same time. She presented us with a round of refreshing drinks on the house at the end of the dinner, which was a nice surprise. I think Il Borro is now on the top of my favourite restaurants in London. It is quite pricey but well worth it!

Nadia makes this restaurant extraordinary, her charm, her charm, her sense of humor, her sense of prioritiy and overall outstanding personality makes this restaurant the best I’ve ever done in London. She works extraordinary well with all of the staff and she is always there when you need her but not there when you don’t need her. Food is great. Ambience is sensational. Thank you!

Our family had a very pleasant evening at Il Borro. The location is elegant and sophisticated, the service was very attentive, personal and yet very down-to-earth. The food was meticulous: “simple” dishes prepared to perfection and therefore not simple at all. We can recommend Il Borro and we will return with pleasure.

For all the food and wine lovers, highly recommended. If you still have some room, pistachio is a most to try. Cheers!!!

Very good venue, great service. We tried carpaccio, pasta with truffle and pizza. Lastly we ordered Fiorentina (Florentine steak) medium rare, was prepared perfectly. I recommend if you would like to have some Italian vibes and food in London, strongly recommend you to try their own selection of wines from the menu.

The food is pricey but i think it’s kind of worth it. They put a lot of truffle haha. The vibes are very old money and modest sort of.

What an amazing dining experience! Visited Il Borro on my last trip to London, as I had previously been to the one in Dubai (big fan), so my expectations were very high! The staff was incredibly attentive, and paid attention to my food restrictions in a way that made me very comfortable. I ordered the pappardelle Al ragu, and was in love! Would definitely recommend any Italian food lover to try it out!

The handmade pasta was the best I’ve ever had in London. The Il Borro wine selection is also very impressive coming from Tuscany. I would highly recommend for an authentic Tuscan experience in Mayfair.

The food tastes very very awful. The service doesn’t meet their price tags and the staff is so rude. The food is bland, their restaurant so dull and boring. The staff is the worst there so mean treats very badly and racist

The atmosphere and service are good, but the food leaves a lot to be desired, we ordered two pastas, the black truffle and parppadelle with ragù, both very tasteless. If you are looking for a good pasta, Cipriani is definitely better… total disappointment…

Very large wine selection with fine Italian wines. The staff was accommodating. Lentil salad and burrata were delicious; however, focaccia was somewhat dry and compact. Pasta pici and chicken were just ok. Formaggio dessert was good. Overall, an enjoyable experience but highly overpriced. Definitely not genuinely Italian.

Top level service in Mayfair, great food and wine selection. A go to place for business meetings when service quality is of a particular importance. The online booking system can be improved however as it drops, lags, asks for card details which then need to be cross verified through a banking app, then when reverting back to the website page it just blinks and refreshes without storing your reservation, then you would have to call the landline, wait for a call to be picked up, explain the situation and do a confirmation via the phone. This is a note to the owner as the restaurant itself is beyond reproach. 👌

The place is beautiful. All the staff is very friendly. The food is delicious. The pasta and pizza are great. The wine list is extensive and there are very good options. The somm makes very good recommendations. The truth is that we had a really nice night.

Fantastic evening at Il Boro tonight (Valtentine’s day). It was our first time here after visiting the Dubai restaurant and it was brilliant from start to finish. We went for the V day menu which offered great value for money. We were sat near the open kitchen which was great to watch and I must shout out Marco and Luca who served us tonight and made our anniversary extra special. They were very accommodating, friendly and welcoming. Excellent service from them and the whole Il Boro team which is hard to find nowadays. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a really good vibe. I would 100% recommend and will be back.

The restaurant was quiet when we visited on a Friday evening. Service was good, but some mix-up’s over drinks which should have been avoided. With the exception of one underwhelming pasta dish, the food was very good. The steak was excellent, with enough for 3/4 people. Would I go back? Yes.

The whole experience was absolutely incredible. The service was so much attention to detail and very relaxed and helpful. We had the Tuscan stew which was literally one of the best things I’ve ever eaten and the chef was kind enough to come out and tell me how to make it. Definitely a treat but definitely worth it!!
