Friendly helpful staff, lovely cuppa. Unfortunately the toilet facilities let it down

My best coffee meeting point near work, lovely team and lovely pastries.

Nice coffee shop that's well worth a visit if you're in the area. Good service and a basic but good selection of quick cafe snacks are available.

H+H is one of my favourite coffee shop. When I used to live in Fitzrovia, I visited the Cavendish and Mortimer street one all the time. I like the comfy chair and the vibe of the perfect combination of old Britishness and the modernity.

Very nice spacious coffee shop with an upstairs and basement area in Fitzrovia only a stonesthrow from Oxford Street. Served a range of savoury and sweet foods and a good selection of hot drinks plus a cold drinks cabinet. Downstairs there are some nice comfy sofas. Friendly service. I would definitely return.

My two daughters and I are visiting London from Canada and were lucky enough to be located next to the Mortimer St location. The service was wonderful, as was the food, drinks and music. A great café experience. My daughter forgot her headphones and we assumed they’d be gone forever, but no, the staff very kindly put them aside. Thank you for your honesty!

Popped in for a coffee and a hot chocolate, so didn’t try any of the food today. Found the staff really personable and discovered a gem of a very warm, cosy seating lounge downstairs. Great find! London needs more armchairs in coffee shops! They have bookcases too!

Helpful staff. Only the 3rd decent cappo I bought in London out of the many coffee shops I visited. H&H actually serve a tasty cappuccino unlike 101 other places I bought cappo at!

Visited on Saturday 28th October around 4pm. Absolutely lovely staff. Clean cafe and the cakes and coffee were delicious. I wish I took photos! Highly recommended.

£7 for a very small cappuccino and macchiato, which is just an espresso shot with a teaspoon of milk froth , outrageously expensive and Dury coffee which isn’t great, Every cafe along Great Titchfield st was busy and bustling, HT Harris was empty inside and out but gave it a go because it looked old school , With these prices and serving poor grade coffee I can see why it was empty. Not how or why this place gets 5*

I used to come here more often but the last few visits have been dreadful. Poor food, poor staff. Unless this place gets back on track it'll be gone soon.

Great flat white (and pour over/drip for my partner). Willing and attentive service, particularly as the shop was 25 minutes from closure. I'd come back with more time.

Only had a decaf so far so can’t speak to the quality of the core product, but the care and attention with which my drink (Decaf Vanilla Iced Latte) was brewed, the professionalism of the service and the quality of the drink suggests this to be a very, very good coffee shop. I’ll be back

Tasty chicken schnitzel sandwich. I'm a fairly big guy and one sandwich was enough for me. And only £6.50. Definitely better than two meal deals from a supermarket.

I was worried when we got back to London after the pandemic, that H. T. Harris would be gone. Nope - same good food,and same charming owner. All you need to know is in my previous review! Read it and give H. T. Harris a try. You'll be glad you did!

Every times we go to London we make a pilgrimage to this shop brimmed with Italian goodies. No need to pine for italy and Italian John and his son bring it to us. One of those delightful places that we stumbled upon many years ago and it seems to get better with more on offer each time we go. and just as welcoming as the first. And they do it with that Italian flair that only a true Italian can do. Their pastas are amazing and salads and meats and I could go on.cheese. Lovely cakes in boxes to take home and biscuits too . We eat in but also get a take away to take back to eat in th ehotel for a later meal .And you never know who you may bump into.

I recommend this deli to everyone in my office! The toasted sandwiches are amazing - I usually get the veggie mozzarella ciabatta which is £5.50 for a truly divine and filling sandwich. There’s also fresh pasta available every day including veggie options. The service is lovely - the team are always happy to tell you what they have on offer that day and you’re never waiting long for your food.

I read that they did a good hot chocolate. So I tried one, Oh my God it is to die for. Not over sweet. It is just perfect.

This is a really old school Italian cafe and delicatessen. We had delicious cappuccinos and absolutely enormous chicken escalope on ciabatta. It was excellent quality and the largest escalope we have ever had!

They’ve added Italian hot chocolate...DELICIOUS! Hard to have just one! Beautifully smooth and rich, without being overly sweet. Worth the trip just for the hot chocolate but go for breakfast or lunch and it won’t disappoint. Great Italian coffee as well and much more traditional...and right next to Riding House Cafe.

Very little seating, inside or out, and yet they find room for everyone. Many, many locals from nearby businesses stopping here, a good sign. We came once, and were hooked. We came again, and it was even better. There is no menu. They have deli sandwiches and 3 pasta dishes of the day. The charming owner will describe the dishes to you [sheer poetry!], and your problem will be deciding which fab dish you should try. Do not skip dessert; I was too late for the most popular hazelnut mini-cannelloni, but the vanilla one was awesome. Super friendly people, super good food, 5 stars all the way!

Walked past this place some time ago but made the effort to stop by for lunch today. Boy am I glad I did!!! The veggie lasagna was amazing!!! Very friendly staff, made me feel very welcome. Great authentic atmosphere, a treasure amongst the back streets of London.

HT Harris, Fitzrovia's best Italian delicatessen, is opening at the weekends now for the most authentic Italian food and entertainment from the larger than life Giovanni.

Delicious pasta made daily (Friday is lasagna day!), cannot resist it. Salad plates that are instagram perfect and delicious. The attention to detail and care that goes into the food and the service is unbeatable.

Exceptionally good take away pasta, a real treat if you work in the area and looking for affordable options for lunch!

Surrounded by cloned hipster eateries .”Harris “ is a breath of fresh air ! Stunning food . It’s the real deal . No pretentious interior . On a wonderful corner to sit and watch the world go by . The sandwiches are amazing . Cheaper than any of the high street “chains” etc . Just a “hop skip and jump “from Oxford Circus . Support the family type business . Let the “venture vulture” places struggle .

I recently started working in the area, and thought I'd give Harris HT a try after walking past it every day and seeing a queue snaking from the front door at lunchtime. I'm so pleased that I did! Inside has the feel of an authentically Italian deli, and the counters are piled high with cured meats, fresh, steaming trays of pasta and sandwiches. I opted for one of the latter (the ham on ciabatta, with tomatoes, rocket, mozzarella and other goodies inside). It's lightly toasted and handed to me by one of the thoroughly nice guys working behind the counter, before I head back to my office for lunch al desko. All I can say is that the sandwich was about as perfect as a sandwich can be. Stuffed full of delicious ingredients (I think I could taste truffle?) and encased in perfectly crisp ciabatta, despite its colossal size, the sandwich was a perfect light lunch. I'll definitely return, but next time I'll try the delicious-smelling pasta.

Family run, full of character, excellent food. Recommend the bacon sandwich. Excellent antidote to the usual chains.

Sin pretensiones 6 mesas interiores otras tantas en exterior. Lo cal básico comida calidad pasta y bocatas delicatesen de miedo 3 personas pasta con una foccacia rellena jamón rucula tomate y mosarela mas 2 aguas y refresco 28 libras. Decrisa para londres . Servicio muy majo.spain

intención de entrar en un tiempo y ojalá hubiera sido más tempranos - realmente es aislarte deli italiano con comida para comer en el restaurante o para llevar. Es un excelente lugar para un bocado rápido (o no tan rápido, como los bocadillos son enormes) justo a la salida de la calle Oxford y Regent Street arrastrar - probarlo!

The sandwiches are top notch, my personal favourite is the mixed salami on focaccia! The pasta ranges from average to incredible, it changes daily!

Even after travelling the world, returning to London many times and revisiting HT Harris, I'm still as impressed as ever to find that these people have revitalised the Italian cuisine. The food is still exceptional as ever and very affordable. The owners are constantly friendly with each and every customer no matter what. It is amazing what they have done with their panini and hot food which is always freshly made on a daily basis. You must visit to see what they have to offer.

HT is unlike any cafe/restaurant in London or even Italy. The food, quality and quantity, is exceptional. All the food is cooked on the premises and is fresh from Italy. Try and come either at 12.15 when the pasta/lasagna (off the scale) comes out. It goes really quickly. Even better though come when it is quieter and enjoy the show. The owner and his son are real characters and loved in the area. This is a special place and very much the real heart of Fitzrovia.

Harris HT never disappoints! Lovely family-run business with delicious Italian food. Great value for money.

A fantastic Italian Deli, offering a great assortment of lunchtime meals as well a a great selections of meats to take home, and very cheap also where you can grab a giant sandwich for £5!!!

If you would like to enjoy crunchy toasted authentic Italian breads stuffed with authentic Italian meats and cheeses, this is the place to go, even if there are only a few tables. It also serves pasta which I haven't tried but I imagine must be good.It completely trumps the equivalent offerings from the big chains.

As part of our travels our aim is to try all sorts of restaurants throughout the world. I have never thought that i will find the best italian deli in fitzrovia. This little deli is one of the best places i have ever tried in my life. Food is amaizing, staff is very friendly they made us feel like regulars from when we stepped in till we left. Food/cost ratio also one of a kind. For around 25 pounds we had a huge meal, pastries, drinks, coffee and thats for 2 person. If anybody knows that area they will know they cant have two starters under 20 pounds. You will think that next to riding house cafe the place isnt something specilal but in food terms riding house cafe is light years from h.t harris. I will definately come back for more. Cant wait till nxt time

There is no menu at Harris HT. Be prepared to wait in a queue, but it moves fairly quickly. If you aren't sure what to have, just ask and they will give you a recommendation. The fresh sandwiches with Italian deli meats, cheeses, veg (grilled aubergine and tomatoes, rocket, arugula) on homemade fresh focaccia and freshly made salads are delicious. I have not tried the pastas and hot dishes but they look great and I will be back as I work nearby.

A small place in Fitzrovia with reasonably priced home made food.They have nice sandwiches with all sorts of italian meat and cooked food, it's a very small place so the main business is take away.Overall it's good but the attitude towards the customer needs improvement, they are rushing the customers to choose what to eat because there is a queue. Also seem to have double standards with longer term customers receiving more friendly attitude. It's not very professional.

We just arrived in London and our hotel room was not ready. We stepped outside to grab a sandwich and came across this gem of a place. Our family of five each ordered a panini with prosciutto, tomato and mozzarella. They were amazing!! The bread was so fresh. My husband ordered salmon, tomato and arugula panini and loved it!! The owner was friendly and made us feel so welcome. There were some "regular" patrons who stopped in and chatted with us too. We just arrived in London for the first time and felt right at home. We hit the Jackpot on our first foodie find!!! We will be back!!!

This place offers a variety of foods including salami, ham, panini, salads, macaroni and rice. Come on Friday lunch time for amazing lasagne and chicken nuggets. Do not be fooled by a not-so-fancy interior of the diner, it offers GREAT FOOD. It however doesn't has a printed MENU due to the fact that it has been operated by the family for 45 years, so the regular customers has always know what they want. Also, it can make WHATEVER YOU WANT. So, don be shy to ask the staff what you want, because they are SUPER FRIENDLY to recommend you. REASONABLE PRICE as well. (Yeah you can trust a budget traveller like me)

This is our favourite place when we feel like a nice Italian panino!!! They use top ingredients from Italy and the bread, which is really hard to find in London, is just like in Italy!!! The sandwiches are quite big and you can even share it! We recommend to get the one with parma ham, mozzarella, tomato and rucola toasted! If not ask the owners as they do not have a menu! Really good value for money. Don't be scared by the long queue as it goes quite fast!

This place is a local favourite for office workers. It's a small but very busy Italian deli which seems to have no menu but will create any sandwich you desire.The sandwiches are huge, generously filled with high-quality ingredients. If you can't decide, ask the staff to choose the filling for you - they will not disappoint.Hot pasta, lasagne and other dishes are also available.

I came here after it was recommended by a local. Really, the best ciabatta sandwiches in the area and also very good lunchtime meals.This is the kind of cafe I imagine that sprung up in London in the 50s and 60s, and now, alas, is hard to find.I bring all my friends here

Can't believe there's only one review of this place! I've been coming here pretty much every day since I discovered it two weeks ago, and I've yet to tire of it. It's a deli that'll either do you a sit-down service or a quick-stop sandwich takeaway, and it has no menu! I quite like that characteristic, it forces you to look at the different options in the display and create your own wacky combination of cheese, meat and salad in their gorgeous ciabattas. They have a huge selection of cured meats from Spain, Italy and the surrounding areas, and everything is freshly sliced when you order. There's also a selection of hot food (e.g. pasta, meat, vegetables) to choose from, freshly made every lunchtime. Love it!

Ok it was a bit of a dilemma whether to review this cafe as self interest would like to ensure I can get a table! But in fairness I feel duty bound to share. There is no menu or prices on display so you need to interact a bit more than you would in a chain cafe. The coffee is great and so are the ciabattas and specials. They have a great range of cooked meats and cheeses . A breakfast omelette is a fresh and tasty option.The staff are great and though it gets packed during lunch hour it's worth it.I stop by almost every day it seems and I love it, hope you do too.
