We had an incredible meal and a lovely bottle of wine. Despite showing up on a saturday with no reservation, the staff found us a table and service was amazing.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary at Bar Remo which is one of the very few family run businesses left in the heart of London and we had one of the most outstanding experiences in a long while. Starting with the greeting, the owner was there and we have received a warm welcoming as we entered through the door, the food was magnificent and the staff very friendly & professional. Marco offered us a complimentary drink at the end of the meal wich was a lovely touch. We can’t wait to come back and try more authentic italian food in a superb atmosphere.

It was my daughter’s birthday, and we planned to have Pavlova and coffee after visiting Hamleys. We ordered both, and while the coffee was fine, the dessert wasn’t quite what we expected. Additionally, the waiter remained behind our back for most of our visit, which made the experience a little less relaxing than we had hoped

Fine food, over pricing a bit. Staffs with very low energy. And split the source onto my coat. Others are fine, just not so chill and very over pricing.

Excellent value for money for London. Delicious pasta! We had the carbonara, the Bolognese and the gnocchi 4 cheese as well as a Cesar salad and all was delicious. Would highly recommend.

The restaurant looks smaller from the outside than it actually is. Nice atmosphere, typically Italian. We were warmly welcomed and despite not having a reservation we got a good table. The service was nice. The food came quickly and was delicious. Portions are manageable. Unlike what we know from Italians, there was no bread beforehand. Prices very high. Above all, a service fee of 12% is included here. Unfortunately we didn't know that beforehand.

Great to have such an excellent classic Italian in this location. Always go there before the Palladium. Love the pizzas.. and the rest!

Amazing food and atmosphere. Very accommodating and arguably one of the best service I’ve had in London in a while!!! The team on the floor were amazing - polite, professional and helpful. Would absolutely come back purely for comfortability let alone great food!

Great food and wine, superb service for our large group

Unfortunately, carbonara was overcooked, pancetta was of a poor quality and overall it resembled fast food. Bresaola starter was fine.

Disappointed spaghetti Carbonara .

Al entrar y ser mostrados a nuestra mesa, inmediatamente supimos que estábamos en buenas manos. El servicio fue excepcional, amable, bien informado, y muy atento. El ambiente es encantador, el restaurante está limpio y se ve hermoso por dentro. Mi hija tiene enfermedad celíaca, y nunca nos hemos sentido tan seguros comiendo con ella. El personal era comprensivo y capaz de recomendar cosas en el menú con métodos de cocina, etc. La pasta sin gluten pomodoro y pizza de pan de ajo sin gluten estaba delicioso. Ella estaba muy feliz, al igual que toda nuestra fiesta con todas las comidas. ¡El pastel de queso Nutella y el tiramisú iban a morir! Nos gustaría volver y recomendar este restaurante.

Bar Remo’s burnt arancini, overcooked spaghetti, and tragic pizza deliver a masterclass in how not to emulate Italian cuisine. Each dish is a misguided homage, leaving authentic tradition smoldering in the wake of culinary misadventure. The real coup de maître? Even Machiavelli would applaud this artful betrayal of flavor as a satirical manifesto on mediocrity.

Delicious food, wanted to work my way through the menu but we will continue to return. Service was friendly extremely helpful and knowledgeable when we asked what some of the dishes were on the menu. X

Zverda was our lovely host and she treated us so kindly and professionally. We were reccomended and guided on what to order. The food was amazing and we had a beautiful time. The desserts are to die for. The reccomendations were perfect and fitted our sharing palettes. We also dropped a glass accidentally and she cleaned it up for us and didnt make the experience a problem she handled it like the pro she is. Thank you from the Latino table that just ate there. The spaghetti bolognese and carbonara were absolutely delicious, and the tiramisu was the perfect sweet ending. We were even treated to a complimentary starter, which was a lovely touch. The mushroom meatballs we had as a starter were legendary. Seafood pasta and mushroom pizza are top notch. The sweetness of Turkish employee Ms. Yıldız is a bonus. Thanks

Risotto is too salty, otherwise it should taste good

The staff in this place were genuinely the nastiest people I've ever come across in my life specifically the manager Alex he was so rude to everyone he spoke to even his own coworkers. The vibes in there were dreadful everyone seemed so unhappy. The food was fine but not even great food could tempt me to step foot in that place again.

Great place for a quick, very reasonably priced meal. Given its tourist location it could get away with churning customers. They don’t take advantage just good food served by lovely people. Keep up the great work!

Went here the other day with my other half after a stressful day shopping. I ordered the lasagna and she ordered the chicken pesto tagliatelle. We also shared some tasty olives. Food was delicious and clearly came to our table straight from the oven/pan. Service was also exceptional. One of the nicest Italian restaurants I've been to in London; will certainly be coming back soon to try something different!

The chicken drumsticks are super delicious (super tender), the pizza is great, the tiramisu is not too winey, and the boss keeps saying that he often reads Made in Taiwan on product labels, which makes him laugh.

This place is a gem! Zvezda and her colleagues made us feel so welcome. The service was absolutely impeccable. Zvezda was attentive, pleasant, and delightful. I was there for my birthday dinner, and they even sang for me! The food was so delicious and authentic. We also had the Nutella cheesecake; it was so good, I even asked for the recipe, however, it is a secret! It was divine. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

We booked an early dinner at Bar Remo on NYE after a walk around town. The restaurant was nice and cosy and the staff were very attentive on a busy evening. The menu has plenty to choose from for all tastes and the food was very authentic Italian and delicious, everyone enjoyed their meals. We will definitely be going back and can't wait!

Authentic Italian; great food, plentiful and fresh. Starters of bruschetta were piled high. Pizzas were topped to the ceiling. Smoked salmon salad was delicious. Superb service, really attentive staff (thank you for looking after us so well Kolli) and a great oasis in the bustle of Regents Street at Christmas. Second visit in as many months. Will not hesitate to return.

This is a lovely Italian restaurant tucked away in the West End Greeted as always nicely, we were shown to our table with the restaurant busy as usual, but as previous visits, the service was excellent, we were well looked after by Elana. The food is always of great portion size and tasty, we love the home baked bread as part of the starters. We both had pizzas, Carizone Luca and a Diabola, both so delicious and tasty. We ended with mini donuts and tiramisu, which were amazing. I would fully recommend you book to visit, due to how great the food is, with excellent service and lovely atmosphere.

Hadn’t booked but staff managed to squeeze us in but only had the table for an hour, which was fine. Went to the restaurant pre covid and didn’t realise until I walked in I’d been there before! It’s a lot bigger than you think, nice little place for lunch or dinner. I had swordfish it was a bit too salty for me but very nice. Pizza was also good.

The bread finally arrived but the water took nearly 30 mins. We then waited patiently for our pasta mains, having observed other tables who had arrived after us, receive their starters and mains. We had to chase the main courses and I suspect our order had been misplaced. Eventually it arrived and was lovely. When the bill arrived my husband asked for the OPTIONALLY service charge to be removed due to poor service. The waiter argued with my husband until my husband raised his voice asking him to remove it. No apology for the poor service, such a shame as the food is so nice!

My boyfriend and I walked past here while looking for a restaurant for dinner and we had no regrets! All the staff were so lovely, especially our waitress, Elena. She was so amazing and genuinely added to our visit. The food was delicious and the atmosphere of the restaurant makes you feel like you’re truly in Italy!

The food is delicious, but we were there waiting for 30 minutes, and then they gave us the table for 1 hour. We finished on time and wanted to order dessert, but they took a long time to clear our plates and kindly brought us the bill. I would say the timing was a bit poorly organized, but the food is delicious!”

Excellent old style Italian bar and restaurant. Table and informal counter service. Also a good choice of wine. Just off Oxford and Regent streets. The Focaccia is excellent.

I just want to say a big thank you to all the staff who were on Saturday night. I was in a bit of trouble, needing a plug for my phone charger, being lost in London with a dead phone. Even if the bar was full, the staff still allowed me a place at the bar, next to a plug, and gave me a coffee . Also , seeing me a bit distraught, they came to check on me from time to time to see if I needed anything else. Very caring despite being run off their feet. Shout out to them. Average food and average service. Not all mains were served at the same time for a table of four, meaning one guest had to wait 5-10mins for their food. Ordered a spaghetti dish with the gluten-free option, only to be served penne pasta and to be told that that's all they had gluten-free after the fact, plus it felt like it was a much smaller portion. Cacio e Pepe was overly peppery for two of the guests and they didn't enjoy it. The grilled octopus salad had barely any octopus in it. Not worth the money and won't be coming back.

I’ve been there a few times, food is always fresh, decoration and lights let the atmosphere super cozy, the waiters are very attentive. This time I went early (4pm) to enjoy calmly, and was very quiet. I ordered octopus salad and gnocchi 4 formaggi. The wine “verdicchio” was fantastic! I’ll be back and highly recommend.

Excellent meal here, friendly service. The wine was nice and free-flowing, the food was delicious and plentiful. I particularly enjoyed the arancini, the cured meats, the parmesan, and (especially!) the concentrated balsamic. Will certainly return!

The menu was full and varied. The dishes we ordered were exceptional. I fully recommend this authentic Italian restaurant and cannot wait to return.

Best Italian in London. This restaurant is just off Oxford Street and it’s a hidden gem. Considering where it is, the prices are fantastic. This is the 5th time we have been here and it’s just amazing. The service is excellent and all the staff are lovely. The quality of food is fresh and the pasta is perfectly cooked. We had the spinach and ricotta tortellini and a thick spaghetti in aubergine sauce with roasted tomatoes and burrata. For dessert, we had a Nutella cheesecake (photo taken half way through eating!) which was homemade. Best cheesecake I’ve ever had!

Allex, our server, was wonderful! She was friendly, attentive and kind. Her recommendations were spot on and showed care for every detail.

Never been to Italy, but I felt like I was on holiday eating the food here! Absolutely delicious. A tad expensive, but if you're visiting for a treat to ell worth it. Wouldn't be worth a regular trip, but quick service and delicious food every now and then, why not!?

An Italian restaurant where you can talk to the staff in Italian. Pleasant ambience, great food and top service. Prices are slightly higher than in similar restaurants further from the city center. We plan to return

As i made my way in i was looked up and down by the door attendant who asked me "how can i help you" As i made my way out i was bid farewell only by awkward looks from the staff with no farewell wishes. Id advise anyone of african descent not to go because of the way i was recieved by the staff at the door. Only reason i stayed to dine was because i had planned the visit for a few days and had not eaten through the day expecting to have the lasagna after my shift at work. The lasagna was ok. The calamari and courgette was very good. the tomatoes juice was warm. A nice lady who was dining alone , as i was, made conversation from the table across from me hence my high rating for atmosphere.

We have been to Bar Remo a few times when visiting London and have never been disappointed. The food is amazing, always tasty and plentiful and the staff are so attentive, they were even able to bring our booking forward by an hour. This is genuinely one of the best restaurants in London.

We went for dinner, we ordered the cherry tomato salad with burrata, spaghetti bolognese and entrecôte with potatoes. For dessert, Nutella cheesecake and ice cream. Everything was very good. The waiter who served us was very friendly. The price was a little high considering that we ate one dish each, but it is a good restaurant, in the center.

A lovely Italian restaurant just off Regent Street. Great food, great service, OK décor but that’s not what we came for. We enjoyed Pollo diavola, Parmesan zuccini chips and Nutella cheesecake. We will definitely come back.
