The best restaurants serving Italian food in City of London, Westminster London

Dear French-speaking friends, don't be put off by the name 😏 Nor by the fact that it's close to a busy street, because the charming dining room has a modern and warm decor, just like the sleek terrace. A truly charming feature: the kitchens are open to the dining room 😌 As for the meal: a rosé cider to accompany "Les Champignons Brindisi" and the sweet potato fries will satisfy you to the fullest. The combination of creamy mushroom sauce, cheese, bread, and sweet potatoes is a delicious combo that will make you sigh with delight 🤤 If you still have room, don't hesitate; the dessert menu is full of treats 🫣 The staff, both in the dining room and in the kitchen, are welcoming, cheerful, competent, and kind 😊

Excellent service very good taste very good attention

Actually my worst food experience i London ever! Language, got the order wrong twice, and payed 45pounds for a small plate of cheese and ham from Tesco, and a cheap wine. Do not eat here!

Excellent food and good service- but a bizarre experience tonight: we arrived 10 min. early for our 6pm reservation, on a night that the UK was hit by stormy weather : we were refused entry by the hostess, despite our pleas that we were only 10 min early and outside in the wind and rain (she told me us that a few other patrons had been admitted early and there was no space for us ! (half our party were inside!). extremely unhospitable, we won't go back.

Great atmosphere, delicious food and amazing service

Basic pizza. Basic burrata. I’ve been to Cecconi’s in Mayfair so many times and that’s definitely my favourite. I know the two are very different but I expected more.

A fantastic Italian restaurants, one of the best in London. The heritage of the place is felt at every moment and the atmosphere is very nice. It is truly a fine dining restaurant, I recommend the truffle spaghetti and Bolognese. The best dish we had was the truffle pizza- a delicious, delicious dish. Cocktails are great as well. Service is impeccable.

If you buy a pizza with mixed toppings they will just charge u for Both and not tell you.

Fui por los 3 cursos por £ 23. 95 y estaba muy contento con mi entrante (setas) y pizza. Lamentablemente el tiramisú, que realmente esperaba con ansias, dado que era un restaurante italiano, era horrible, rozando lo no comestible. Lo que arruinó mi experiencia fue cuando llegó la factura - no eran 23 libras. 95 , ¡Eran 30 libras! El camarero explicó que los 3 platos no eran 23. 95, pero 25 libras. 95 - los menús eran un poco anticuados! Había un cargo por servicio encima que había aumentado el total. Revisé varios Bella Italias después y todos sus anuncios y menús tienen la misma oferta. No pude comprobar lo que realmente estaban cobrando, ya que el de Shaftesbury Square insistió en que estaban llenos y no podía apretarme - a pesar de que había varias mesas vacías cuando pregunté y las mismas mesas estaban vacías 40 minutos después cuando volví. Una experiencia muy decepcionante en general.

Amazing restaurant, amazing service, amazing food & wine! Our server Victoria was very attentive & nothing was too much trouble for her or any of the staff. I was given a lovely plate for my birthday & was even sung to! Thank you all for a wonderful experience on my special birthday.

Food was good but lacked taste. I had the salmon and they provided a yellow sauce. It tasted like mayonnaise with yellow food die. It would be nice if it had some flavor. The waiter we had, a tall guy seemed very bored with his job, was not friendly and only did the minimum to get the job done. I guess that there are a lot of tourists and they resent having to feed us. Teach your staff to smile and say a few kind words.

I was the only customer at the bar, and it still took 15 minutes to be served. I then ordered a Sausage Bap. 30 minutes later it hadn’t arrived. So I just left as I had to get to a screening. The least motivated staff I’ve encountered in any bar ever. Just awful. I’ve had to use this bar 2 days in a row, and it was like this all the time.

The calmest spot for a morning coffee, served by such kind staff! Also for lunch, the lasagne soup is incredible.

Went for a pre show meal and was disappointed. One member was gluten free, they were given a menu that pointed out the majority of the menu actually contained gluten. We were advised to order 2-3 small plates each, at an average of £14 a plate it became an expensive meal, with 125ml glasses of wine also costing £9 minimum. Food was nice, it is obviously made with care and precision. However, I would recommend going elsewhere.
