Best Salt Baked Sea bass, the taste is very delicious with house made sauce. The cheese and spinach Ravioli was amazing. The fried calamari tasted very fresh and crispy. Burrata cheese with sliced tomatoes is a good starter. For desserts we had Tiramisu and Cream Brulee and both were very good. It was a real 5 Stars dining experience and well recommended.

Fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff Highly recommended the seabass whole fish cooked with salt coating then the staff will help debone it and serve it on the plates. Fried calamari and French fries were very delicious. Dessert ordered was tiramisu which was very creamy and tasty along with a hot latte.

Very expensive restaurant for very ordinary food! The lady at the entrance has a very arrogant attitude. But waiters were very friendly and nice. Sea food resotto had not pleasant taste from mussels as well as its contained pieces of sand or small rocks. It wasn't fun to eat this dish! Plate of mussels as well had bad taste and smell. The only really tasty was mille-feuille. It was fresh and crunchy. Overall, it doesn't worth even trying. All that you will pay for is Pathos!

I've recently booked out the PDR for a family event for a group of 20 for my daughters first Holy communion ,all I can say is I cannot fault the restaurant or staff in any way. From the communication with Olga & silvia with the booking, coming up with a personalised set menu and helping me set up the flower arrangement it has been absolutely great. On the day I was pleasantly surprised at the personalised place cards the restaurant offered for the party(in the same colour scheme as the flowers and balloons) it definitely made it feel like the staff went above and beyond to make my event a special one . Having our own bar so convenient & The waiters were so accomadating and polite,every single person at the party was shocked at how well they felt looked after (including waiters giving us a hand with the kids trying go up the stairs). I've dined in many restaurants around London can easily say service in this one would be in top 3 with no hesitation .In regards to food ,if you ever visit here , veal milanese with broccoli & garlic butter ,spinach &ricotta raviolo with sage butter , seafood risotto ,calamari with tartar sauce ,sea bream in Mediterranean sauce,and most importantly the Tiramisu will NOT let you down . Big thank you to the whole team ,will 1000% be visiting again

Booked a table for 6. Few of my table arrived before me and when I arrived she asked what drink would I like. I replied with tap water as I didn’t want to order for the table and make someone pay for something they might want and wanted to discuss either them first. Problem 1: The waitress pulls a shocked and disgusted face and I’m there like what the… they gave us bread and butter which we asked for, on top of olives and cheese which we did not ask for. Problem 2: they billed us for these. Meal came and the food is overpriced but decent. I ordered lobster pasta - yum. Problem 3: As the evening goes on, the waitress does not even serve me water (we all ordered still water in the end) but serves everyone else. Dessert came and the same waitress gave us a free dessert as it was someone’s birthday - ‘on the house’. Problem 5: the bill. Lots of hidden extras all over so I ask for the manager. A cover charge? A cover charge for what? ‘Oh the table and cutlery’. Okay but cover charge is usually for the bread and butter. Fine moving on. Cheese and olives? We didn’t order that. ‘Oh it comes with the bread and butter’. On the house cake but you’ve charged us? No comment. On top, they gave us 10 bottles of water which we didn’t ask for, no staff asked us if we wanted more drinks, they just topped it up for you. Honestly, what a shambles of a restaurant. Glad I checked the bill and managed to get all of the hidden charges off the bill. This restaurant needs reporting to trading standards. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

Disgusting attitude to not Italian staff !! We visited two weeks ago in the weekend. One of the staff members repeatedly shouting at him that is unfriendly and very aggressive in front of all the customers. He was very rude to the junior member of the team which was not professional. This does not reflect good on the management who seems to do nothing about the unhealthy conduct of their rude staff. DO NOT WORK IN THIS KIND OF THE ENVIORMENT.

Went here for a relatively quick pre-Theater dinner - booked for an earlier than usual table to give us plenty of time so expected the place to be quiet (perhaps not quite so quiet as it was) but no other comment on the atmosphere. Food was OK - my starter (calamari & courgettes) was somewhat of a damp squib, others liked their dishes; both my main and my daughters had a surfeit of salt but partner thought her fish was nice and well cooked. Plate sizes seemed OK but are very ££££ for what you get, even for the Theatre district in London. Really annoyed about the excess charges though - we specifically asked for no bread, olives or cheese - which were put on the table anyway with a shrug and "I thought I'd bring them anyway". They're now a total of £20plus £6 cover charge so a total of £30 (including service of 13.5%, of course) before you've even started. That was about 10% of the overall meal. As a result the restaurant's only going to get the lowest review I can give - you can't stiff your clientele and expect to get away with it. No I won't be going back and I suggest you try some of the other excellent restaurants nearby.

Prior to Covid I took some clients here and had a wonderful meal. Fast forward 4 years and I decided to take my wife there on the Saturday evening after Valentine’s Day. Sadly it was a very disappointing experience. Knowing how it it is to book decent west end restaurants prior to less then 2/3 weeks, alarm bells should have rung when I was able to book a Saturday night less than a week before. The fact the resturant was roughly a third empty as we sat down, wasn’t a great sign either. I ordered the calamari and zucchini to start and as there wasn’t anything my wife particularly fancied she asked for a mixed salad. When they both arrived my dish which at £24 I thought was very dear (for a starter) was displayed no better then if I was ordering it at a local pub. In a small bowl with no thought of decoration or presentation. The mixed salad ( if you can call it that) was literally a few lettuce leaves!! No tomato, cucumber or anything else!!! Very poor. I ordered a glass of red wine (having asked for a recommendation from the waiter) which I had to ask 3 times for, which whilst wasn’t the worst wine I’ve ever tasted, had segments at the bottom of the glass which bearing in mind the restaurants name was embarrassing. I decided to go for the veal chop in breadcrumbs (unusual way of cooking my favourite dish) what actually turned up was a veal escalope which was very dry and hard to eat (lucky I had some salad and vegetables to help that). I don’t think I’ve ever paid £45 for that dish anywhere in the world!! With respect a veal chop is not a veal escalope and was disappointing to say the least. We ordered 2 deserts that were just about ok albeit hard to go wrong with berries!!! At roughly £100 pp it was definitely far from value for money and fear for its future. A real shame as I was looking forward to the evening from my previous experience, but was sadly a chalk and cheese experience. No chance of a return.

Worst experience we’ve had in London. FOOD: I ordered the tortellini, with ricotta and spinach, and they came out like Chinese-styled dumplings! Like soft potstickers (photo attached). I’m full Italian and this was appalling. We were then given some “on the house dessert.” It was the bread we had received before the meal, but with powdered sugar added. (Photos also attached.) SERVICE: We were served by a non-attentive, and not at all intelligent black server. We had written to the restaurant via snail mail and email about 2 special occasions we were celebrating that night (which I received receipt confirmation emails from the restaurant noting the occasions). Our server said he knew nothing about them. BEWARE: The restaurant charges a $2.00/person “cover charge.” There is no entertainment, and we were just having dinner. I asked our server what it was for…he replies, “this is to pay our insurance to protect…YOU!…in case we forget your food allergy or or we give you food poisoning.” This was incredibly insulting. I think I should have the right to eat out at a restaurant, fairly confident I will be safe, and not have to pay some ludicrous “insurance” to enhance my confidence in my safety. I have a feeling if, hypothetically, I did get food poisoning and called back the next morning after having to see my doctor, they would NOT easily cut me a check to pay my medical expenses. Crooks!

Ovviamente è uno dei ristoranti italiani a Londra dove mangiare meglio, i piatti sono buoni con materia prima fresca e soprattutto la location è esclusiva, calda e accogliente. Lo staff di sala principalmente italiano (ragazzi) sono veramente bravi e cortesi. I prezzi: Siamo a Londra quindi è inevitabile che il prezzo sia molto alto, diciamo che si paga una pasta 2 volte si più che in Italia ma ci sta.. Anche per il tipo di clientela che frequenta il ristorante. Quello che mi ha infastidito è pagare un calice di vino rosso 18£ e il livello del vino portato a tavola era veramente minimo, oltre che non versato davanti a me.

This was the best Italian food I've ever had. The bread was so soft and savory, the cheese was so nutty and flavorful, and the olives were the best olives I've ever had, taste and texture. And that's just the Starters! The stuffed pasta was incredible and the fish tasted amazing! The staff were incredibly helpful accommodating our 10 month old with a personal chair and extra care. He loved the mushroom soup! Incredible experience overall. A bit on the very expensive side.

We love Italian food and made a reservation for this place, the service was good at first and they tried to look like a five star restaurant, that changed fast when they couldn’t answer what kind of beverage except alcohol they had an the rest of the the evening they did not payed attention, they also changed table cloths on the table next to us and shake it near our plates, nasty and unprofessional. Instead of a nice restaurant they run around in the local with dirty clots abs they looked more than hotel room cleaners than waiters. They also putted bread, olives, parmesan at the table without asking and charge 18£ for it, that’s bad, that’s one of the things that’s gave them this low rate. The food was ok, but not the best Italian cuisine. If you need to pay like a five star restaurant, act like one.

Pasta was overcooked, took more than an hour to arrive (4 pasta dishes, the restaurant wasn’t full and we were the only table waiting for food). It also was nothing like the photos, for example the lobster pasta didn’t come with lobster on top, just a few tiny pieces of meat blended with the overcooked pasta. Way overpriced for what it was. When politely asking the staff about the food delay, they replied with an attitude. Would not recommend.

Good service with an attentive waiter but mediocre food at best. Sent the veal Milanese back after trying to battle through eating it but was dry and flavourless and so thin there was probably more thickness in the breadcrumbs than the meat itself. Just a slab of thin, dry, flavourless meat on a plate...that's it....£48.00. Asked for it to be replaced with some simple tomato pasta which was rather nice only to then be charged for the pasta on the bill for a delightful £18.00. You know you've buggered it up when the best thing you ate was the broccoli side dish (which was actually very well seasoned, pity the rest of the food wasn't paid as much attention before being sent out). Could get a better meal for a 1/4 of the price anywhere, you're paying for the postcode here for sure. They did, however, pop a candle in my partner's dessert as I wrote it was birthday booking, so a shame that the hard work of the front of house was let down by the kitchen.

So weird - someone had to change their preference to accommodate them.. Also paid a deposit of 250£ to book (which is fine) but they ‘forgot’ to take it off the bill at the end, had to remind them of it.

Food was very disappointing for the high price. Service was bad. The veal special was unseasoned and barely had anything else on the plate. The mushroom risotto was a tiny portion with too much mushroom. Looked more like a beige soup than risotto. We had to ask the waiters if they were to do anything at all. We sat with empty wine glasses for 10 minutes trying to flag down one of the five waiters at the 1/3 full restaurant to get them to fetch the bottle we had already bought. When asking for a restroom, the waiter was helpful, but a manager(?) mumbled a sarcastic "no, we don't have a restroom" under his breath, plenty loud enough to hear. Not the kind of service one expects after paying over 200 pounds for 2 main dishes and a bottle of wine. The only upside was that the decor was very nice

The food left much to be desired. The french fries were disappointingly soft, lacking the desired crispiness, and the steak I ordered was notably dry. In general, the food had a plain and unexciting flavor profile, failing to meet the expectations I had when dining out. So, came here for post matinee dinner at 5pm. Walked through the kitchen staff sitting outside. Once inside felt the staff were surprised to ha e customers. Started off well, attentive staff member took us to our table, gave us a drinks menu. I had to ask if I could have a food menu, staff member seemed to think this was an unusual request. I had a glass of white wine to start then switched to red, the waiter asked me if I wanted the red in the same glass as I'd just had the white from?! I thought they really need to train their staff. Well be careful what you wish for, the entire waiting staff were marched outside by the management for some kind of briefing, leaving us alone in the restaurant for 15 minutes. When we asked for the bill one was presented to us, then replaced with another. I compared the old bill with the new and they'd added a cover charge for use of the napkins as well as a service charge. Needless to say, I asked that both were removed. I seriously believe I would have had a better experience at an Angus Steak House.

Disappointing experience while dining at the restaurant. We visited on a Friday, and the hostess greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome. This initially gave us hope for a positive experience ahead. However, certain aspects of our time there left much to be desired. The menus were handed to us quite late, which we didn't mind. Despite the restaurant not being overly busy, there were delays in serving our drinks. We sensed that our waiter might be new, but at that point, it didn't bother us. For starters, we ordered vitello tonnato (which was nice) and prawn carpaccio (unfortunately, very disappointing). Strangely, the carpaccio dish arrived warm, which was odd for us. Coming from Puglia, Italia, where this dish is a staple, I'm accustomed to it being served cold. The warmth robbed the dish of its usual flavours, and considering the higher price tag, this was a letdown. We did voice our concerns to the suspected new waiter, but we didn't dwell on it. The plates took an unusually long time to clear, and once again, we brushed it off. However, the main courses faced delays as well, pushing our patience to its limit. I opted to ask the waiter for updates. The manager intervened, assuring us our meals would be ready in four minutes – a promise that went unfulfilled as we continued to wait. Meanwhile, the restaurant began to fill up. In short, we eventually received our mains and decided to cut our losses. What truly bothered me was the manager's lackluster apology, blaming the restaurant's busyness and overwhelmed kitchen. As someone who has worked in a five-star hotel restaurant in Knightsbridge, managing a high volume of customers, I understand the importance of communication between the front and back of house to ensure seamless service. Thus, the manager's excuse fell flat, especially since I had photographic evidence of my starter and main, taken an hour apart. We opted not to pay the service charge, prompting the manager to question, "You didn't like the service?". Back in my day in hospitality, when customers contested the service charge, we involved managers to address their concerns and gather feedback to ensure satisfaction. Regrettably, the manager in this case failed to meet that standard, opting instead for excuses. Considering the restaurant's location and pricing, we held higher expectations. Despite our disappointment, we maintained our politeness until the end. The one person who stood out was the hostess, who treated us like cherished guests rather than mere entries on a bill. Her warm smile upon our departure and her inquiry about our experience left a positive impression. In fact, I intend to express my gratitude in writing to commend her good service.

We were pleasently surprised by this lovely hidden gem! The food was very tasty and authentically Italian. The staff was very polite and we recieved great service. The restaurant itself was beautiful and gave you a real 1950s feel. Definetely recomended for people who love Italian food and wine.

First of all, still water was already on our table when we arrived. I had arrived a little later than my friends and didn’t know so when the waiter asked me, I asked for some tap water. You should’ve seen the look their waitress gave me! It was very unprofessional and rude and the entire table saw it. I was unimpressed right off the bat because this waitress had implied that I was too poor to afford still water. Throughout the night, she poured everyone else’s water but mine! Food was ok. BEAWARE: They ask you if you want bread and bill you £18 for cheese, olives and bread. Not only that, it was my friends birthday, the same waitress just gave us a cheesecake after we ordered our desserts and then billed us for it! We didn’t ask for the cake and thought what a nice gesture UNTIL we saw it in the bill. Cover charge was added at £2 per person for use of tablecloth. Sorry but I’d rather go without the tablecloth then?? Water was charged for SIX bottles?!?!?!?! There’s LOTS of hidden charges and I’m sure this is against trading standards? Had this all removed and the bill was settled after. That red haired waitress is one to avoid. She looks down on you!

Food was decent but not memorable / not worth coming back. The bread and olives were chargeable which is always interesting, but would have been more than fine if they were good - they were not. They also charge a cover charge per person regardless of what you order. We each got a starter, a main, multiple drinks; why are we also paying for the privilege of a seat? Was pretty dead on Saturday lunch.

Was recommended by the hotel concierge expected it to be good but oh no. Appetizers abysmal and the mains were the worst part. The saying start bad and finish good doesn’t go well with them, my brother had food poisoning the day after today. The atmosphere there is legit no one there they barely get customers. Stay away from this restaurant there are way better options. The reason it got two stars was because of service but still they were standing the same corner doing nothing but just chatting.

Tagliolini with lobster, chilli, garlic and tomato was tasty but found that more could have been done with the lobster flavour as it felt slightly weak in my opinion. Overall was good though and would eat again if cheaper. Thought the olive oil and vinegar, which came with the bread, was very nice. The espresso martini was definitely one of the better ones I’ve had. Bolognaise was standard bolognaise in my opinion. Nothing special but wasn’t bad. My brother said the ribeye steak was very good but maybe a bit pricey. Ravioli was far too buttery for anyone on my table and couldn’t be eaten. This was brought up but nothing was really done about it except the sauce being removed. Everyone agreed the crème brûlée was good and had no complaints. Would order again. Black truffle chips were nice. Ours were crunchy and tasted good. Would order again Zucchini fries were okish definitely not as good as the black truffle chips. Would not order again. Cover charge of £2 per person. Service was average or slightly below. Staff were not busy and decided to just stare. Unsurprisingly a 13.5% service charge was thrown onto the bill… Overall, food was solid but definitely not worth the price and would not go again.

Lovely decor and outside terrace area. Usually eating outside in London can feel very unsafe due to the amount of crime but this felt very comfortable and not at all unsafe. Lovely food as always. The Cacio e Pepe is always my go to and the lobster pasta was divine. The creme brûlée was the best I have ever tried.

Was recommended to go to this restaurant and had high hopes.. Very disappointed - service appalling. More serving staff than customers. Had to wait 45 mins for drinks and had to ask twice! Calamari cold and overcooked. Main course was mediocre. No serving staff checked on us, could have had a lot more to drink… Definitely won’t be going back.

We went to this beautiful place twice in the last two months with my husband as we loved it so much the first time. I actually didn’t want to advertise it as I’d like to keep it for myself (!), but they deserve this review. I like everything about this restaurant: the decoration, the atmosphere, the professional staff who is friendly and knows what they are doing, the menu (all the best Italian dishes are on it but we went specifically for the pasta with truffle). We’ve eaten this dish in many different places, in London, in France and in Italy and this is one of the two best we have ever had (and the other one was in a specialised Truffle restaurant). The rest of the dishes we chose were all delicious and well presented. The tiramisu and creme brûlée are excellent and I am very picky with these two. Only my last dessert was not to my expectations: I chose the apricot tart, expecting it to be like the French version, with fresh fruit, but instead it was a jam tart. This place has the right recipe to succeed in London, especially now that the quality everywhere has dropped so much. They get high quality ingredients, know what to do with it and how to serve it properly. Please keep the great work!

Terrible experience. Halfway through the meal, the waiters started to get agitated and nervous and hurrying us through the rest of it. My plate was still half full and the inattentive waiter asked if I was finished, whilst reaching for my plate. Outrageous! If he'd had observed me even for a minute he'd have known I was very much in the middle of my meal. We were told three times we were 'behind schedule'. Excuse me!?!?! Never have I heard anything like that in a restaurant in my life. We were moving at a completely ordinary pace for a meal with friends, ordering bottles of wine and drinks and starters - and paying a decent sum for it, too! Utterly dispicable. I was told later that we had a 2 hour slot. Ironically, the reservation was from 18:45 and we left the restaurant at 20:45. So all that fuss and trouble they caused was wholly unnecessary. Yay, we now live in a time where even a Friday evening restaurant meal with friends is monitored and timed. With your greed, Mr Cecconi, you make the world a worse place. Shame on you.
