This is a great Tapas restaurant and good for pre theatre. Food is lovely and service efficient. I wonder if the pace is too fast for a whole evening?. Will definitely visit again

Food was amazing and the drinks were very nice too. The chicken and Jamon ham & manchego croquetas was so freaking good and the pardon pepper margarita was better than expected. It did get quite loud in there but think it was because we sat close to the bar either way it wasn’t too bad for us. Very cute and small restaurant with nice people working there so would definitely come back.

I’ve been going to Dehesa for years, and I love it for its wide variety of Mediterranean-inspired tapas. They also change the menu regularly, which keeps things fresh. It’s conveniently located near The Cuckoo Club, where I work as a promoter, so it’s perfect for dinner before heading to Cuckoo. @nerea.iglesiasss

I recently had the pleasure of dining with my daughter at Dehesa in Soho, and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish beautifully crafted and bursting with flavour, but what truly made the evening special was the incredible staff. Mama’s warmth and welcoming energy set the tone for a fantastic evening, while Daria, Felicia and Zuza provided impeccable service, always attentive and friendly without being intrusive.

We were looking for a lightish lunch before going to the theatre and in our wandering around came across Dehesa. The menu had a reasonable range to choose from and we selected 5 tapas plates, accompanied by wine and followed by espresso for me and Churros for my wife, which she kindly shared with me. The food was quite nice, although we felt not as good as other restaurants doing tapas that we visit. The cost was reasonable for London (always at a premium compared to many other places) and service was OK.

The restaurant “Dehesa” impressed us with its delicious tapas and friendly staff. Every dish tasted excellent and was perfectly prepared. We particularly liked the beautiful location, which creates a pleasant and cozy atmosphere. We felt completely comfortable and really enjoyed the food. An absolute must for tapas lovers - we'll definitely be back!

Comodo locale con piccolo dehor. Abbiamo sperimentato il menu proposto composto da diverse tapas. Tutte veramente buone. Su abbiamo apprezzato il riso al nero di seppia. Servizio cortese e veloce. Prezzi decisamente elevati anche pur considerando la location.

We stumbled upon Dehesa, just off Carnaby street, we had the set meal tapas, everything was perfect and well cooked and delicious, we had starter, main and desert. Pedro our waiter was amazing, and is worth a special mention. Being close to Caraby street there was a buzz in the air, a nice atmosphere. We sat outside and enjoyed our meal at our pace, not rushed. I recommend this place

I have been here before and really enjoyed food and drink and ambience. I went to meet friends in Carnaby and we visited again. As always best service and great tapas, maybe a bit bigger price but it’s in central of London so it’s understandable.

Amazing service! The first time we visited this restaurant, we spilt a cocktail and they replaced it free of charge. I returned on my girlfriends birthday and they helped with organising a custom cake during the meal. Our server, Aaron, was very polite. This place is incredibly friendly. Portion sizes are a bit small but worth it for the atmosphere and taste.

I enjoyed my time at the restaurant they have good and tasty foods and the staff were really friendly, I had steak and fish they were good but the fish was a bit too smelly for us, but it tasted good

To the owner of this restaurant: Having an endless stream of tourists passing through your establishment doesn’t mean you have to serve subpar food. It shows a lack of integrity and respect for the food industry. Do you even taste your dishes before adding them to the menu? How many people give their input on the food? Are you solely focused on maximizing profit per plate, regardless of quality? I can only imagine how disappointed Spanish locals must feel dining here. Additionally, could you please allow your customers to eat in peace without the constant clatter of plates, cutlery, and glasses being thrown into the sink? There’s a saying I like: “If you remember the bill being too salty, it probably wasn’t a great experience.” On a positive note, the waitresses were kind and efficient. I will, however, never set foot in your establishment again.

I barely arrived and the waitress asked what we wanted to eat without even having sat down. And in less than 5 minutes she already asked 4 times what we were going to eat without patience. And they removed the menu so we couldn't order anything!!! How absurd! Very rude. Terrible service. One tip: don't go. Blonde waitress.

… leider nur im negativen Sinne. Wir waren spontan zum Abendessen im Restaurant. Leider mussten wir zunächst sehr lange darauf warten überhaupt Getränke zu bestellen, bei der Bestellung wurde dann die Hälfte falsch verstanden. Der Service ist wirklich eine Katastrophe, unerfahren, unfreundlich, unorganisiert, kein Bitte oder Danke. Die Tapas waren leider auch enttäuschend, kalt, geschmacklos und ohne Begründung hintereinander serviert. Die Toiletten lösten sofortigen Fluchtreflex aus… Dazu kam noch die ständige Belästigung durch Rosenverkäufer (ok, hier kann das Restaurant nichts für, es passte aber in unser Gesamtbild). Insgesamt muss hier dringend etwas passieren!

Dehesa is a casual restaurant with delicious vegetarian tapas options. The service was friendly and efficient.

Restaurant that works with dishes in tapas format (beef tagliata, zucchini flowers, skewers for example), which allows you to taste more things. It’s excellently cooked and seasoned! Special mention for the mint tortellini, pea cream, gourmand weight and pecorino: a delight! The service is delicate and attentive.

We only came to have a drink in the afternoon, and despite the pretty terrace, we really weren't impressed by this brand. Very few customers at this time, literally as many servers as tables occupied, yet a very very very long service. So much so that we came to believe that service was not done at the table, but at the bar like in pubs. It was when I got up to order that a waitress joined me to take our order. I must admit, however, that she was kind. So we ordered drinks, which were served... at room temperature?! It was over 30°C that day, we came to cool off, well it was a failure! And it wasn’t the two ice cubes in the glass, which melted immediately, that changed the situation. I then went to the toilets, which were not very accessible (at the bottom of a staircase, narrow cubicles), not in very good condition and above all dirty. That's starting to have a lot of negative points there. When paying, service still slow and poor. Tired of waiting for a bill that never arrived, we went to pay at the bar. The feeling of having paid more than expected, for a hot Coke, which we almost served ourselves, in a filthy place, made us check the bill (after paying). We thus discovered that the 12% supplement for the service, supposed to be optional and applied at our request, was automatically applied without asking our opinion at any time. We didn't make a fuss, but given our poor opinion of the service, we intended to give less. We clearly had the feeling of having our hands forced.

My friend and I had a lovely meal here on a very hot (I know, rare) Friday evening in July 2024. My friend arrived around 30mins before me and managed to secure a table outside for us both without having booked. Before I arrived my friend had ordered flatbread to keep her going and a glass of Sangria. The sangria was so good we had two each. Service was good but a little slow but it was very busy so maybe they needed an extra server? We asked for our prawns twice after we had finished everything else and sat and waited before asking but absolutely worth the wait. The server had suggested bread with the prawns which was a good shout as it was lovely to dip in the sauce. 4 x Sangria = £48 1 x Padron Peppers = £6.50 2 x Flatbread = £11 1 x Patatas Bravas = £6.50 1 x Chicken = £9.50 1 x Courgette Flower = £8.50 1 x Burrata = £12 1 x Prawns = £13 1 x Doughnut = £7.50 12.5% service = £15.31 Total = £137.81 Yes, there was only two of us, we were hungry 😅 and I didn’t get a photo of everything as we were too busy chatting. Enjoy!
