The best restaurants serving Italian food in East of England

We visited on Saturday evening and pre booked. The restaurant is lovely inside, and the menu has lots of choices, and as a vegetarian, I was spoilt. The service was excellent and food was first class. We would definitely recommend and return. The lady was very good when we went to leave a tip and she pointed out its a 12.5 % service charge.

Good value for money, especially the Aperito offer. They also have a deli corner now, after they close Mercato, which was locate inside the Grafton Shopping Mall. They sell nice Italian products, some as well from Greece and Spain. While for drinking and eating is great, the deli is a bit over priced.

Italiano a mitad de semana para nosotros como familia. No estaba muy ocupado como era un miércoles, pero eso no fue un problema ya que la comida salió bien y rápido. Los entrantes eran muy agradables, pedimos salsa italiana extra y se sirvió sin problema. La red era muy sabrosa también, mi esposa y dos niñas les encantó. Sin duda volveremos a probar algunos platos diferentes pronto. Sin duda lo recomiendo aquí.

We came here to celebrate a friends birthday meal and food couldn’t have been better! Service was super accommodating for 12 people and the diavolo pizza was especially delicious. Shout out to our server Ewa who was fabulous and very attentive. 10/10!

Had a fantastic meal here! Great service, delicious food, and a lovely atmosphere. They even saved my partner a piece of tiramisu, her favourite, which was a bonus since they ran out the last couple of times we went there. She loved it! Will definitely be back.

I have been before and it's hit and miss usually, but this time was awful. I won't be back. Our table was seated near the back door, so we had to keep our coats on and also by the bin and dirty pot area, I asked to move but they could not accommodate despite there being other tables available. Sauvignon Blanc was disgusting, I had to leave it, I think it was off. Pizza was like cardboard, couldn't even cut it. Tagliatelle was under cooked and don't even go there with the Carbonara! Lumps of goodness knows what in it. Music was purgatory and extremely loud above our heads. Diabolical. Avoid. Bill was £70 plus for 3 of us.

Had THE best Chai Latte made by the wonderful Alannah ❤️ literally can’t stop thinking about it. Would recommend everyone to go and have the chai latte!

Went for the fourth time to this very special and friendly restaurant. The food is always delicious and it really feels like eating in Italy! Can't wait to go back.

Had a meal here last night with 3 friends, the food was absolutely top class. Very italian feel when you're here, It's like going back in time. A bit dated with the decor, but you can't complain about the food, I had starter main and dessert and finished with an Irish coffee ! All my guest thoroughly enjoyed their food. Definitely one to try if you're in the area. Worth booking in advance as can get busy.

Visited with my partner for my birthday. Warm, cosy, authentic atmosphere. Great service and a pleasant, attentive waitress. Food got the thumbs up from my Italian girlfriend which is a good sign and was wholesome and delicious with good portions. Would recommend the Gamberetti arrabbiata (from the specials list).

Lovely meal last night and service. Definitely can't wait to book again. Highly recommended for authentic Italian food!

Good coffee and very nice atmosphere. Had a few good gluten and lactose free sweet treats which we really appreciated.

Eaten here many times, takeaway and dine in. Ordered a delivery last night and noticed how much more expensive it was. When it arrived the calzobe was burnt, chips were cold and my pizza was completely the wrong, I was given a weird bacon instead of jalapeños. Very worrying if anyone has any allergies. Won't order again unfortunately as other pizza places are of better value and quality. Feels like I've put my money in the bin.
