The best restaurants serving Italian food in East Midlands

Visited for drinks & dinner on a Saturday evening. We booked the sofa & enjoyed a very lovely, relaxed evening. Nice selection of beers. Food was super tasty, we went for a selection of small plates & a pinsas, everything had amazing flavours and a fab variety. Pricing is really reasonable too. Great service and friendly staff. Fab atmosphere & live music in the main area. Recommend for a lovely, chilled evening & great food.

Tomé el té encantador de la tarde con algunos amigos. Después de leer otras reseñas optamos por mezclarlo un poco y tomar los tradicionales tés de la tarde junto con la opción de tapas. Ambos eran deliciosos y un montón de ella. El personal era muy atento y el entorno es fabuloso. Definitivamente iré de nuevo.

The most stunning freshly made cannoli I’ve ever eaten! Service was absolutely impeccable. I popped in after seeing cannoli mentioned in the window, there weren’t any in the display case so I was about to leave disappointed when the server asked what I would like, I said cannoli but there weren’t any, to be told how many would I like? They make them fresh throughout the day and we’re making another batch right then and could make some exactly how I’d like them! I ordered two and while k waited the gentleman gave me a little bit of another dessert they had which was divine (yes I did take some home). I had just eaten lunch so I was kicking myself as they had an amazing array of arancini, pizza slabs and cured meats available for savoury tastes. They even had a vegan arancini which I was very impressed by! While I was there several Italian construction workers visited for their takeaway lunch, so it is obviously popular with the local community and I can see why. I can’t wait to go back and have a proper lunch there!

Delicious takeaway pizza! Ordered a gourmet pizza and pepperoni and both were lovely and cooked and ready quickly. Highly recommend!

We hadn't booked and we were found a table with in 10 minutes, even though it was busy. Lovely atmosphere, staff very friendly and food was delicious. Food didn't take long to be served. Lovely clean restaurant. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit next time we are in Nottingham

Ordered the spicy masala fish takeaway and it was absolutely delicious. The fish was flaky, boneless and melted in my mouth. I would definitely recommend this restaurant/takeaway.

Just had a cracking afternoon lunch of pasta, bruchetta and red wine at Caffe Italia. Absolutely amazing authentic Italian Mediterranean pasta dish that was cooked to perfection, the orange cheese cake was just heavenly and the bruchetta was perfect. The awesome coffee was hand picked by chef who told us everything is imported from Italy. The house red was top draw too. We spent £45 for 2 of us and I have to say it was excellent value for money. Warm friendly and welcoming staff. Perfect for an afternoon or evening. 1000/1000 from us. We'll definitely be back again real soon. Big, big thanks to Lorenzo all the staff and Chef who advised us about the problems I was having with my Delongi coffee machine and really great Italian coffee. Just perfect. If you haven't visited yet, you got check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Good selection of beers, 241 pizza's are a must. Lovely pub with good cross section of customers.

A delicious meal. Food was tip top. Wine was great. Lovely independent Italian restaurant in the city. Well worth a visit. Every dish we had was delicious and reasonably priced too.

First time visiting this little gem of a restaurant and it was just gorgeous. The staff were excellent, being friendly & always available. We had bruschetta for starters, yummy. Lasagne & spaghetti bolognese for mains which were one of the best we’ve tasted & same for the banoffee pie & tiramisu - bloody gorgeous! The atmosphere was just right with traditional Italian music playing in the background. Cannot recommend this fab, authentic family run restaurant enough. Thanks guys - we will be back!
