A delicious meal. Food was tip top. Wine was great. Lovely independent Italian restaurant in the city. Well worth a visit. Every dish we had was delicious and reasonably priced too.

Firstly we arrived and were waiting around 15 - 20 minutes with no offer to place orders for drinks. I had to ask for a drinks menu and also the main menu to order food. The cokes were charged at £2.95 for a less than a half pint which was flat and could tell they were from a plastic bottle. Definitely was not coke as advertised. We all ordered starters and mains which arrived ok but missing two sides of fries. Had to ask for them to which she did apologise and would get them straight out. 20 minutes passed and they still hadn’t arrived until we re asked about them to which they apologised as they’d given it to the wrong table. Throughout there was no offer to order any more drinks nor did they ask us if we needed anything else or if everything was ok. We had to ask for the bill at the end and that’s when we noticed they had overcharged nearly every single item compared to the restaurant menu prices and the bottle of wine was charged extra too. We had also paid £50 in deposits and as two people did not turn up and we didn’t tell them, they took that from us and didn’t remove it off the bill and when queried the woman who I assume was the manager told us that she’s keeping that. Baring in mind the food was NOT preordered therefore there was no need to be rude. I would not go back here even though the food was delicious. Poor service.

This place is a hidden gem the deco is beautiful. The service received was excellent so attentive and welcoming . The food menu was explained well ir any allergies etc. The food is all freshly cooked and tasted delicious. We felt very relaxed and great value for money. I would recommend this place to friends family and couples. The owner is a lovely lady who goes out of her way to make you feel special. Brilliant atmosphere.

Visited to celebrate my graduation. the food was absolutely stunning. I had the special which was mushroom and truffle ravioli - I can honestly say I have never eaten anything so nice. Will definitely be back the next time we’re in town.

We were given a warm welcome at this lovely, family-run restaurant. Cosy, intimate dining with an authentic Italian feel. The family were there and Mama was chef, I was transported back to Italy. Authentic home cooking which was delicious and good portions at a very reasonable price completed the experience. We went 2 nights running!
