Great food, wine, chat and company. Thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and rice dish. What amazing hosts! Mainly Italian but if you prebook with your choices they can accommodate. 👍

I visited El Vino with some colleagues after work. We were escorted to a table kindly reserved for all 8 of us at the back of the restaurant. The atmosphere is cosy but perhaps a little too old-school and discreet for our lively group. The food is decent but nothing to write home about and the prices are quite reasonable considering the restaurants location. The selection of wines is really the reason to visit here although I was slightly disappointed with the Sherry and Port list. The staff however are very friendly and accommodating. All in all it is a nice venue for a quiet meal but has a slightly dated feel.

This is a tiny restaurant tucked away in the suburbs of Mapperley. It was summertime when I visited so they had the outdoor stone oven cooking the very simple but delicious menu options. I opted for the the BBQ tasting platter which was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is just delightful and hostess Annie can't do enough for you. I will definitely be visiting again!
