Fantastic food, good price, fantastic friendly staff. Very much recommended

Family meal out on Saturday 20th April. Parking is not a problem in and around the restaurant. Not the restaurant for disabled or for someone who struggles with stairs as the Toilets are up some steep stairs. Tables were nicely set out and lots of room upstairs also. I opted for a starter of Polpette (italian meat balls in sauce) and the wife opted for the Bruschetta topped with tomatoes and onions and my brother in law had the Calamari. The meat balls were nicely cooked and very tasty and the sauce was rich and sweet. My wifes Bruschetta was tasty and fresh but the bread could have been a little more toasted for my wife`s liking, but the starters were fresh and tasty. Service was a little slow but it was very busy and the staff were attentive and friendly, so we could excuse this for a small restaurant. The choice of mains is plentiful and i opted for Spaghetti al Ragu with extra sauce and my wife had the Penne Arrabiata, and my sister the Pizza and brother in law had the King Prawns Gamberi. The spaghetti and sauce were delicious, fresh and very filling. The Arrabiata was also tasty and sauce lovely but could have been more spicy. My sister said the Pizza was delicious as was the King Prawn gamberi. The staff explained when we arrived that they had run out of Steak because of a large party earlier on, but luckily only 1 of my sisters wanted the steak. My other brother in law opted for the Pollo Marsala, but said it was overly sweet, but the manager was very nice and gave a reduction for this meal as it wasnt all eaten. My other 2 sisters didnt like their meal with potatoes as the white wine sauce was overly thick Overall a nice restaurant with friendly staff, fresh tasty food. The beer selection limited and a tad expensive, would like to see other beers available and no Malibu or Tia Maria, which my wife wanted. Selection of cocktails available, and good choice of coffees. We were too full to go for a desert but what i did see looked really tasty.

Lovely meal in an authentic Italian restaurant. Great choice of food and friendly, pleasant and efficient service. Steaks were beaufully cooked and excellent value for money. Have been looking forward to visiting for a long time, just awaiting the right opportunity and we were NOT disappointed! Hopefully we will be back soon!

Our first visit to Salvatore's and it is a lovely restaurant with a diverse uncomplicated menu. The food was absolutely delicious from the starters to the mains. The pizzas are so good (proper pizzas) and the pasta dishes are delicious. It is not cheap but it is very good, set in a lovely village location. When we were there they were two staff short and the restaurant was quite busy, so the wait between starter and main course was a bit longer than I would have liked, but it was worth the wait. The staff are lovely and really friendly. Salvatore's is well worth the visit and we will definitely go again. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine.

Took my partner on Valentine's day for the first time. What a lovely restaurant and delicious food. The service was well run for such a busy evening, and always felt well looked after. Shall definitely be back!

I went here yesterday for the valentines day special and can say it was amazing! Ot was a set menu but there was a lot to choose from and can say with some confidence that anything on the menu would be good. The Bruschetta was the best I have ever had, it was perfect! Really friendly staff and just a great atmosphere. You can park anywhere outside on the street, so I wouldn't worry about parking.

Last year was great. This year, what a complete turnaround. Not organised at all. Writing this whilst we wait for our main course. Booked in for 1930hrs. Arrived 5 mins early. Finally took orders and drinks at 2005hrs. Arrived at 2015hrs. Starters were OK but not amazing. One small mushroom; should've been at least 2. Part of a mese but still. Its to share. It's now 2100hrs and still waiting! Oh it's just arrived (2105hr) Looks great but we'll see..... Home now. Yeah, mains were nice. Mrs had steak with seasonal veg. Must only be potatoes in season as not much else. 4 shrivelled green beans. Cleared away the plates and dessert came after 2 mins! Wtf? Again, biscoff cheesecake was OK but not homemade. Overall; food was OK but service was slow to non existent. Nothing to signify valentines except the heart chocs that came with the bill. No flowers on tables or anything. Not even offered coffee or digestifs. What a shame, but won't be back. Nearly walked out and went for a takeaway.

First time ordering - heard it was a nice restaurant with good food - which was proven correct. Used to go to school with Mikelle - glad he’s doing well in life. I asked for an off the menu pizza ‘pimento pimento’ - was absolutely spot on and exactly how I remembered it tasting. Great food.

We always love to have a takeaway from Salvatore's. The pizzas are amazing, they make really authentic Italian pizza, everything we have had is fantastic. We highly recommend them.

Fillet steaks recently added to the menu are delicious- a good size and perfectly cooked to taste. Roast chicken in white wine sauce tender and appetising. The Biscoff cheesecake is to die for as is the banofee pie! Great service and friendly atmosphere. Thank you.

Food was good. Portion size was generous to the extent of needing doggy bags to bring pizza home and some of the desert. The service by very friendly staff. The only downside of the evening was it was a little slow between courses. I would certainly consider going again.

Can't comment on the atmosphere as never eaten in. Have had a few takeaways from here. One of the best pizzas around.

What a lovely restaurant. I was here with my sisters by recommendation and I must say we were not disappointed. As people that have lived in Italy for years, we knew what to expect and it exceeded our expectations. The Fritto Misto sharer was divine, the carbonara was to die for!!! We couldn't stop talking about. We will definitely be returning. The service was also a top notch. In all, we were very pleased with everything!

We booked the restaurant for my Partners 60th on Tuesday night when the restaurant is normally closed. However they opened up for us and we had the best night ever. Food was amazing and staff were exceptional. Perhaps we shouldn't have had the lemonchello afterwards as our heads were a little sore in the morning but we had the best night. Thank you so much.

Just returned from a wonderful meal at Salvator’s Restaurant tonight after we made a last minute reservation. Service was excellent. Food was delicious and fairly priced. Atmosphere was lovely and friendly, we got talking to several different couples while we were there and people seemed to know each other. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended authentic Italian food.

We did not have a good experience, to start with the staff seems to be not interested when pointed out that the olives got mould and said that they checked with the chef and the chef said that it’s the seasoning. The fritto misto was tasteless had no seasoning whatsoever.

Lovely food all around, good attentive service and can recommend the seafood pasta.

We went for a date night dinner and had a great evening. 80s Italian music was played, together with the red walls and lovely decor, the place had a spot on Mediterranean feel. The portions were way bigger than what we expected by looking at the online photos beforehand. Pizza was perfect and the carbonara divine.

We had a family birthday here at lunchtime the food was fantastic. The one girl who was serving us struggled to keep up with bringing out the food so we could eat at the same time they needed another waiter other wise it would be 5star

Had a lovely meal here on Saturday. Starters and mains only as we didn’t have any room for desserts. All meals were excellent. The restaurant is very friendly and the staff are even more so. Very efficient and would certainly recommend. Thank you for a lovely evening to all staff.

Absolutely beautiful food, pizza is always cooked to perfection and the large mozzarella in homemade tomato sauce is the best! Delivery drivers are always polite and provide excellent service. By far the best Italian I've had.

We highly recommend Salvatore’s!! The staff and the food! We had a small party there and everything was perfect. They opened the restaurant just for us, the food was amazing and we went there many times after. We also had someone allergic to gluten and they were very careful . We love “Fritto misto”. The same as in Italy🥰 all the food is amazing!!! Everyone should go and try. The best Italian restaurant! And not expensive as others…. Thank you! 🙏🥳

My family and I had a very well-cooked meal at Salvatore’s on Wednesday. Feel good atmosphere, makes you think you are actually dining somewhere in Italy. The Fettuccine ai frutti di mare is so flavoursome and cook to perfection. The pizza is one of the best ones I’ve ever had. I’m glad now I won’t have to travel far for a great Italian meal.

Just discussing with wife I think this was the best restaurant experience bar none in recent times for us. Simply splendid.

Food was lovely only downside was the awful coffee.

Brilliant restaurant, the food is amazing with large portion sizes which is rare these days, alone with very reasonably priced. You can tell everything is freshly made. The service was great, the waitress we had was polite and chatty, very homely atmosphere. Was very busy which is always a good sign when it comes to restaurants. We've ordered takeaway multiple times and the food was great so we had to go and eat in, even better! The banoffee pie is the best pudding you can ask for! Overall a great place to eat and we'll definitely be returning regularly. 100% 5 stars from us and can't wait for them to open for lunch toon.

We had delivery which was within the time frame. Pizza was cooked great and an good vegan cheese - unfortunately, found the base to be chewy.

Sorry for this late review Salv (three years too late) We had our son's christening here and the food was really good. Very tasty and Salv and his family did a very nice set menu for us for my son's christening. We then went back for a Wednesday night special Pizza & Beer for £10 The pizza was really good and i had the Salvatore's special pizza with homemade sausage and that was lovely. Will come here again soon! Sorry for the late review! Thanks Mick

First time visiting Salvatore’s. Absolutely amazing pizza and food. Pizza was delicious probably the best pizza we have ever tasted, carbonara was tasty and creamy. Plenty of vegan options, brilliant service and a cosy environment

Had a brilliant meal out for my husbands surprise 30th tonight. There was 22 of us and we all enjoyed our food! Top quality and tasted amazing. Michele & all staff were extremely accommodating for us. Couldn't fault the service at all. A beautiful restaurant and definitely somewhere to be proud of. We will be back again soon! Friday night is my traditional pizza treat night. The perfect pizza is important for me to enjoy the end of a hard working week. Since moving to Finedon we have used Salvatores for home delivery and every time the pizza is bang on. Never over or under cooked, the best dough and thickness and always generous with the toppings. Occasionally we go to the restaurant to really treat ourselves and its always a nice experience. Can't recommend enough!

Delicious authentic Italian pizza, delivered fast and hot! Best pizza for miles!

Usually I'd give this place 5 stars but not the greatest experience tonight. Order took an hour and 45 minutes to arrive, phoned up after over an hour since ordering and they said it should be with us in 10-15 mins, still took another 30 minutes to arrive. Pizzas and garlic bread were great, really tasty and flavourful but the bruschetta wasn't even toasted and bread was soggy so that was disappointing. Its a shame because most other times we have been really impressed.

We went here on Friday after having the restaurant recommended to us. We were welcomed by a lovely waitress and given a choice of tables as we were the first guests of the night. Drink orders quickly taken and drinks provided and we were also given sufficient time to peruse the menu before our food order was taken. The restaurant is very nice inside and decorated in a traditional Italian way and very comfortable. I had the Italian meatballs for starters and my wife the calamari, both good sized portions and equally delicious. For mains I had an excellent daviolo pizza and my wife the carbonara which was extremely tasty with cheesy garlic bread as a side. We slso had dessert which were the biscoff cheesecake and the banoffee pie which were both homemade and very nice. We were very full and satisfied when we left and the prices were reasonable. Staff were very efficient, chatty and polite and the food came out promptly. Would definitely recommend and we will be back. Excellent authentic Italian cuisine.

We had an evening meal with family here. The food was excellent and the restaurant has a friendly atmosphere. The decor is calming and stylish. Very clean with comfortable seating . The food was delicious and flavour full . I recommend eating here if you want a taste of classical Italian food give it a try you won't be disappointed. The waitresses were friendly and helpful asking if everything was OK and if we needed more drinks an all round lovely evening out.

Visited here on an over night stay at Wellingborough. Worth the 10min drive out of town to find. Food was excellent, lovely surroundings and really friendly service. Will definitely return if I am in the area.

Tasty food arrived hot and delivered on time

Had a takeaway from here earlier. Delivered on time, it was hot, the delivery person was polite and friendly. We had the spaghetti con polpette and the pollo carbonara. Both dishes were very tasty, and we both enjoyed them. The only thing we said was they could have done with a bit more sauce, as we found them slightly dry.

The best pizza in Northamptonshire I’ve ever had, I have been looking for arancini in the area for ages and this one was amazing.

Incredible!! We love ordering from here. Bruschetta is the best I have ever eaten, meatballs are incredible and the pizzas... insanely good. A true hearty restaurant, I rang to ask some ingredients as I’m allergic to cheese and they rang back a little while later to double check I could eat certain things in what I’d ordered! Above and beyond. Will always be our fave Italian.

I ordered from this place of just eat and I’ve got to say there pasta carbonara is amazing especially there chocolate brownie me and my partner wanted to try something different and I’ve got to say I can’t wait for it to be back open so we can eat inside because the food was fresh and the brownie was fresh I would highly recommend this place

Terrible! tried ringing to complain but no answer the carbonara was over done it looks like lumps of cheese in what sauce there was in the carbonara which was very little won’t order from them ever again! seeing as it’s an Italian restaurant and they can’t cook carbonara that says it all 🙄
