Absolutely delicious and great service and atmosphere. Monkfish was divine. Vegetables delicious. All great. We're lucky to have such a great place in town.

Visited for Valentine Night Out, excellent food, lovely staff and nicely spaced out tables , nice not to be able to hear your neighbours conversation. Lovely staff presented me with a rose at the end of the evening, lovely gesture.

March 9th 2025, 5 of us enjoyed a delicious roast Sunday lunch in celebration of my dad's 79th birthday. The meal was absolutely delicious, cooked beautifully. Well done chef! I have to comment on the roast potatoes- absolutely the best! The service was fast, friendly and very accomodating, allowing for helium filled balloons and a fancy table cloth. Bethany Fletcher and Cerys Willams, you made sure we had everything we needed and the 5 of us thank you for helping my dad to really enjoy his day. Highly recommend.

We came her for my sisters birthday. The food was made fresh and all of our food was delicious. Staff were very attentive and service was great.

I would have given 0 but no option!! Service was ok, but felt rushed. It was Valentine’s Day , set menu £40!!! The mushrooms tasted like they were out of a tin, a tiny portion. Calamari was ok. They only had 3/4 options on each course. My husband orders the pork, but was told there wasn’t any, so he had the cod. I had the prawns. Both came in the same sauce… which I may add the same sauce as the starter of mushrooms. The menu said seasonal veg and potatoes.. but chips were served and honestly, the minuscule pot of veg was laughable!!!! The crumble was cold…. Best part was the ice cream!! Won’t be returning

Visited for the first time with friends last Saturday. Well, the food and the service were both excellent. The welcome and service were so friendly and the food was above expectations. House Rose delicious! Starter amazing. Main course was great and the dessert was great too. Can’t wait to return.

Lamentablemente no tuvimos una buena experiencia en este restaurante. El servicio fue extremadamente desatenta, con las bebidas olvidadas. El eglefino era un pequeño trozo de pescado dentro de montañas de masa grasienta. Mi desierto de panacotta era horrible, completamente sólido y demasiado fraguado con claramente demasiada gelatina utilizada. Dejé todo y la camarera ni siquiera me preguntó cómo estaban nuestros desiertos. ¡Entonces tuvieron la mejilla de agregar un cargo por servicio a nuestra factura! Definitivamente no volvería.

Look to be quite honest, any Uber or pizza place which doesn’t take the restaurant off the app and still takes your money is a super disgrace lost a lot of respect for this place and word-of-mouth is karma in a nutshell.

Visited today for Sunday lunch and honestly couldn't fault it. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive, the food was absolutely first class, and I cant recommend La Fonte highly enough.

Una buena selección de deliciosas mezzalunas a un precio razonable, además de que siempre tienen una vegana que ofrecer. Un buen lugar para ir en Nottingham para el almuerzo y un café con amigos. Es especialmente bueno si usted es un estudiante, y puede cronometrar su pedido para que coincida con una de sus ofertas especiales diarias. Solo ten cuidado de no ir en horas pico si quieres sentarte ya que el lugar es pequeño y se pone mega ocupado.

Whilst visiting friends we decided to have a takeaway and this was recommended. I’ve always driven past this place and truth be told thought it was shut down! But, when we received the food it was delicious. Food was still piping hot even after the drive home. Kids had pizza which looked and smelled unbelievable! Good value for money, and if we are about again we would definitely order again!

Went to the Ropers with friends ..our first visit. Situated along the River in Horncastle Road Boston, The Ropers is an old pub now converted into an Italian Bistro. The manager was very friendly, and welcoming., and offered us home made crisps which were so delicous. Sadly my meal didn’t live up to the high expectation l had. My tempura prawns were all batter and hardly any prawn..not very nice at all.My chicken in mushroom main coarse was quite tough as Infact was my wife’s steak. Sadly a rather disappointing visit.

Parked outside with a disabled badge and one of the workers came out and started having a go at me along with her partner who had just dropped her off. Not a very nice to think not only do these type of people work in Swadlincote but really puts off customers thinking of trying the restaurant in the future.
