Bella Italia Sherwood Forest in Newark and Sherwood

Very lovely meal! Food tasted really good, portion sizes spot on and staff really attentive and really bubbly! I have very fussy kid and nothing was too much problem for our server to accommodate my little one! Absolutely brilliant!

Lovely atmosphere and food couldn't be better. Definitely a place to be with family and friends. We will for sure coming back.

Food was flavourless & over priced. Prosecco was flat too but they did replace it. Deserts were good but what they are served in (plastic bowls & cups) could be improved.

The team here were stars - calm, in control and friendly even on a busy night. The interior is lovely but not super friendly seating to get in and out of if you have mobility issues. They’ve introduced some fab new vegan and veggie options (very sad they were out of a few though) - and while it’s quite expensive for what it is, it’s always reliable and you know you’ll always get something good.

Family of four stood waiting for service at the ice cream counter, three members of staff spoke to us and said just a moment… 10min later we left unserved. If they are not open the doors should be closed, if there open have the staff to serve. Oh well, next time maybe?

The whole family enjoyed a lovely meal here for a members birthday, and we were so happy with the service we received! A family of 5 with some allergens had a three course meal within an hour and 15 minutes as the service was so quick! Our server, Libby was amazing and checked back after every course to make sure we were happy with the food! The food was amazing and we all agreed it was the best meal we had ever had, the price felt satisfying when considering the quality of the food we felt we received! It was such a nice ending to a lovely holiday.

Restaurant so understaffed the fact they automatically added a service charge was an insult. Took over 5 minutes to even acknowledge presence at entrance, despite booking. Drinks and food service dire and had to ask for cutlery as none was provided. Manager invisible. Staff run off their feet. Food overpriced.

Celebrated a family birthday at bella italia at the sherwood forest location of centre parcs, we had pre booked this on line and they required a £60 deposit as there were a party of 12 ,it says that you are limited to a certain leanth of time for your meal but nobody rushed us,as soon as we were all seated the waitress came and took our drinks order and they arrived fairly quickly, where upon she took the meal order ,we had looked at the menu on line so that was quickly done. Meals arrived soon ,they were hot and delicious, found the staff friendly and efficient,highly recommend a meal here if you staying at this parc,one thing to be aware of is there is an added service charge of 7% on the bill,but this can be taken off if your not happy with it,even though ours was over £27 I left it on as our bill was in excess of £350 so didn't seem too bad

Had dinner here 1 night and lunch 1 day with my little boy. All the food was delicious with good portion sizes. Lovely ice creams too. Friendly helpful staff, nice atmosphere and setting

Good food and service but a bit soulless. Needs to feel more intimate and a refresh with the décor wouldn’t go amiss. It was nice that we had a pool view

Great atmosphere and amazing food. We really enjoyed our meal out for our final night at Center Parcs. Food was hot on arrival and tasted great also our server Lyupcho was fantastic we all loved his energy, he was very polite and nothing was too much trouble. Read some mixed reviews on here before we came but can 100% say the food and service was spot on and not overpriced. Will definitely return!

Microwaved, pre-portioned and frozen food. Expensive and about as Italian as a vesta curry is Indian. However, the kids love it and as an alternative to slaving over the stove it’ll do. You can also take the £25 bottle of wine back to your lodge, not that you’ll have anything left in the bottle because you e drunk it all waiting for your food to arrive. The staff go some way to making up for it all and they at least have a sense of humour.

Great food and service, our server Jack was incredibly friendly and personable and couldn't do enough for us. There was 13 of us, everything came out right and in good time, no complaints at all

Best food we had all weekend at Center Parcs. Our server Oliver was brilliant and couldn’t do enough and the other service provided from start to finish was great - front of house and food server. Really great experience all round considering it was New Years Eve and very busy. My family and I had a great time so thank you to the staff.

The worst Italian food I’ve ever eaten. I don’t know how they are still in business it’s nothing more than a supermarket ready meal.

One star for the friendly male waiter, the other female waitress struggled to smile. £30 per head for the worst food. Olives with no cocktail sticks, 5 tiny dough balls, Butternut squash risotto was like a bowl of soup, most definitely the worst risotto I’ve ever had. A pint of beer arrived and we had to ask for it to be filled up as mostly froth. The white wine was warm and the bottle was left on the table with no cooler. The restaurant itself was like a canteen rather than a nice evening meal out. We will not be returning and wish we’d not bothered as the bill was expensive!

Even though it was really busy the service was great tonight. The best service and food we have had during our stay at centreparcs this week. Food was delivered efficiently and quickly and was hot. My mum is a coeliac they clearly know their stuff when it comes to catering for allergies and dietary requirements. Our server, Rob, was really efficient and attentive he was polite and made our meal really easy and stress free. The kids meals are great value for money. i will definitely rebook this restaurant when we visit here next.

Brilliant!! We come here every year and always make sure we visit Bella Itallia. Excellent as always, food, staff the lot!! Jack served us and he was very friendly and helpful.

Awful. Service awful. Food awful. Drinks bang average. Pulled chicken?? Cubes of rubber more like. Pasta tasted like Heinz spaghetti shapes. Save yourself £30 a head. Buy from Parc Market and eat at your lodge.

Lovely family meal for 8 - 4 adults 4 children. Friendly helpful staff who went out of their way to make this a great experience. Food was good, service for drinks and food was swift and everyone had the best time.

Called here for dinner and the food was amazing as always. The staff are always polite and friendly and nothing is too much to ask . The service is excellent and it’s always a pleasure to go here will be going back again .

The McDonald’s of Italian food. Ordered olives which were tasteless and looked dehydrated had to ask for cocktail sticks. The mains arrived with the starters. The carbonara pizza was floppy undercooked mush with about 3 pieces of bacon for £17. Have been before and it was terrible nothing has changed. This is by far the worst restaurant in Center Parcs where the bar is set pretty low. Overpriced microwaved rubbish along with a 7.5% service charge which was not pointed out when the bill was presented. This was swiftly asked to be removed. Just don’t bother it was bad, very bad!

The staff were lovely! They sang happy birthday to my boyfriend and made our visit really enjoyable. I couldn’t rate them any more highly!

Obviously this is not Bocca di Lupo, but for a chain restaurant in a holiday park, it was a nice meal. The kids (8-11) were very happy with their three-course deal. Pizzas decent but not outstanding, same for pasta mains. Reasonable wine for the price....
