Have been before and loved it, this time it was average. The service was too slow when you have kids. It was 45 mins from ordering to receiving the food. They were apologetic. Pizzas are very nice although I wouldn’t bother with the meatball and burrata one again as there isn’t much taste to it. Spicy Italian Special is the best one. My overall view is that if you are a couple and don’t mind the wait then go here, if you are a family then you are better off going to Scoozi’s in Southwell.

Been wanting to try for a long time from when i first had a pizza from the back of the land-rover and what a wait its been and what a fantastic time me and the wife have had will definitely be coming back there was no disappointment. The atmosphere and the ambience friendly staff is fantastic the choice of drinks i could go on. If you like cheese have the sharing platter starter but dont eat all day again thanks guys 10 out of 10

We pre-booked a private party for March 2nd for 50 people. The day went absolutely beautifully with great food, drinks and service. The atmosphere in the restaurant was amazing and Camille, Ross were the perfect hosts supported by Jo and his team. Thoroughly recommended.

Me and my husband loved it so much, we highly recommend for food and location, pizza was delicious very traditional Italian style. As soon my husband saw cannoli on the menu he wanted to take some to eat later, we both loved them, pistachio is my favourite.

Our first time trying The Rustic Crust but definitely will not be our last! Staff were polite, attentive and efficient. Food was absolutely superb! Meatballs were fantastic and definitely a must have, the pizzas and garlic bread were very tasty and cooked to perfection, and the coleslaw was amazing(I even took some home) I didn’t have room for dessert but my husband had the tiramisu and said it was amazing. Honestly do not have a bad word to say about this restaurant

It was my first visit here, and I had a fantastic lunch, Classic Italian pizza sandwich. Followed by affrogato. Staff friendly and informative. Will be back.

Really nice food and quite a good atmosphere but service is very slow. Nice blackboard of the day choices and perhaps a little too large portions for some of the starters but the food was very authentic and tasty.

The perfect post-Christmas pizza! Excellent variety of veggie and meat-eater options and all absolutely delicious. Wish we'd had room for pudding as they also looked lovely. This place is such an asset for Farnsfield and we will definitely be back!

Hugely disappointed. After being recommended by several people I placed a takeaway order. Wasn’t ready when arrived at the pickup time and when got home was massively unimpressed when opened the box, ended up having to put my own cheese on it!

Went for a meal for my anniversary with my fiance and the food was absolutely top notch, the service was fast and non-intrusive. I know full well we'll be going back again, honestly cannot recommend how good this was enough!

Just finished some delicious pizza with the kids and it was amazing. The kids definitely loved it too. The staff were polite and professional. The management were also very welcoming with smiles. The best pizza in town by far.

Beautiful restaurant with such an interesting, varied and tasty menu. Staff were so helpful and attentive and accommodated all our needs. Pizzas made in the middle of the restaurant, made by hand and delicious. A scrumptious meal on pizza bread. A comfortable and homely place to eat, with tables tastefully placed. Wow first timers it was delicious,It was the Friday lunch menu 2 course's The Wife had Burrata pesto Breads for starter and main was the mushroom and garlic Pizza If you love garlic this is one for you,Me I had the Hot Nduja pot and Breads Then I had the Volcano Pizza Spicy Nduj, if you like it hot this is definitely one for you,the super friendly and service was fantastic 👌

First time coming here and it won’t be the last. We had a great evening!! The Pizzas are excellent, thin and crusty cooked to order in full view of the restaurant, which added to the vibe of the place. There is also Pasta dishes and desserts, plus a good wine list and selection of beers. Displayed around the restaurant are ingredients you can buy and take away with you, pizza flour, pastas, tins of tomato’s, olive oil and more. I can’t see how you could possibly be disappointed coming here for a meal!! They also make the most delicious Canolli….

This is a fantastic place. The food is amazing, the services and the team all attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The prices are reasonable, the portions are generous. Incredible. Can't wait to go back.

I'd give it a 6 out of 5. It came recommended from friends and family- decided to pop in for my and my partners anniversary. Let's start with food- Shared a starter which was the burrata and tomato pesto with home bread- simple yet bursting with flavour. Absolutely bang on. Then onto pizzas... I've had the Italian Spicy Special, and my fiance had the Meatball and Burrata. Simply put- the best pizzas we've ever had. Proper woodfired pizza, with top quality ingredients. Was so good, we've grabbed a Margherita to go as well. Next- something new, the Cannoli box. Lovely little treat, brilliant taste and not too sweet. Staff were very attentive, but not intruding, friendly and helpful. Picked up some imported Italian pasta, passata and pizza flour too. All in all, lovely anniversary dinner, fantastic experience, and will definitely be coming back in upcoming months for more! P.S. Don't come here if you're one of "these" people who'll complain their pizza is burnt (when ordering a traditional woodfired pizza), or that a PIZZERIA only serves PIZZA, and thus your kids "cant eat anything". Stick to your McDonalds instead.

Rustic has the best, most delicious pizza, by far, for miles around. Crust and toppings are excellent quality, we have never had a bad one. Restaurant or takeaway away, it is pretty much a faultless experience.

We went for lunch on a Friday afternoon. We had the 3 courses for £19.95 and the food was exceptional, some of the best food we’ve had and one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had. The portion sizes were big and very filling. Staff were friendly, attentive and really welcoming. Would definitely recommend and we’ll definitely be returning.

Come for the pizza and you won't be disappointed, however if you come JUST for pizza you are missing out. They serve the best pizza in the area, but the starters and desserts are way above the quality that you get everywhere else. The monthly specials are always incredible. Throughly reccomend

I’ve been meaning to do this review for so long! We have probably visited Rustic Crust over 20 times and every visit has been superb. The owners and staff are really friendly and professional, and the food is just perfect. We went last night and finally decided it was time to get the review out there!

I went to the rustic crust with friends, on the recommendation of another friend, to celebrate a birthday. The whole experience from booking to the meal was excellent. When asked why we were attending I said it was for a birthday, and they said they would put a birthday card on the table. A lovely touch! Our waitress Meg, along with the other colleagues provided a lovely evening. One of our party has coeliac and needed gluten free food. He was offered to have his pizza cooked in a separate oven to prevent cross-contamination. A wonderful consideration for people with coeliac. My friend said that his pizza was moist and very tasty, as many gluten free bases are hard and crisp. The food was delicious and the atmosphere friendly and professional. Will definitely return and have recommended the rustic crust to many of my friends. Excellent 5 star service and food.

Heard about this place through positive word of mouth and thought it was worth a try. It very much did not disappoint. Good options of both food and drink, all of excellent quality. The quality of service was even better however. We were delayed sitting due to other customers overstaying, and without asking, Joe the manager (a consummate professional and all-round top bloke) comp'd a few items off of our bill. Our server Daniella was also of a top quality, up for a laugh and generally extremely friendly. Overall, I cannot recommend the "The Crust" more, and I shall be returning.

Absolutely fantastic evening for a large group booking of 21! We had the buffet option which included 6 pizzas, salad, homemade coleslaw, Dips and filthy cannoli. All of it was top notch and so delicious! We were able to help ourselves to a box and take home any leftovers we didn't eat too. Drinks took a little while to come out after being ordered but it was super busy for a Wednesday evening and the staff were really attentive from waiting, to chefs to manager. Huge thank you from all 21 of us!

We visited for my son in law's birthday- the venue itself is really lovely and the staff very attentive and helpful! The pizzas were the best I'd ever tasted - the staff helped us pick a selection and we all enjoyed them! The kids sure enjoyed the deserts too!! We will definitely be back!

Authentic Italian pizza. Slick service. A little loud in the restaurant as there are no soft surfaces to absorb noise. It would not stop me from returning. As welcoming to families as you would find in any Pizzeria or restaurant in Italy.

I could not recommend this place highly enough! Visited in the evening with a couple friends and sat outside, the service was brilliant, very friendly and attentive we didn’t have to wait for anything. Visited today for the first time with family and it won't be the last. All agreed it was probably the best pizza we can ever remember eating. So lovely and fresh, absolutely delicious. Family friendly atmosphere, relaxed, food arrived quickly and service was good. Excellent value for money for proper quality food- I'll never spend a penny at dominoes again! This is real pizza. My young kids are a good test- they love pizza but will soon say if it's not a good one, and they loved it here! A lovely experience that we look forward to repeating.

The initial greet was great, the food was very nice. Garlic bread was delicious! However we are probably being generous giving a 3* for the service. The garlic bread was a large pizza base which we intended to share. It arrived, but we needed to ask for side plates as it was just placed in the middle of the table and was oozing with butter. We were given plates and had to request napkins too. They did then suggest cutlery would be useful which they bought out and we used. When the pizzas arrived, no new cutlery or napkins. We asked for water as it was a hot day, a small bottle was bought out but no ice. Following the pizza they cleared our plates and asked if we’d like to see dessert menu, which we did. We were given the menu, but 15 + minutes later no one had been to take our order. The staff were often chatting behind the bar area. Eventually they came after we kept trying to catch their attention and took our order and we requested more water. 6-7 mins later out come delicious looking desserts, without any napkins and no water. Staff still chatting away behind bar, we resorted to sharing a tissue to mop the corner of our mouths after our food. Eventually we managed after finishing the desserts to catch their attention to bring our drinks. To sum up the food was lovely, but the service way below standard especially as it wasn’t very busy and would put us off visiting again

First visit tonight, and will definitely be back very soon. All the food was special and delicious, great portion sizes, especially the tiramisu which was enough for 2. Rounded the meal off with espresso martinis which the barman stated were a good choice... He was not wrong as they were first class. Our server, Meg was absolutely superb. Booked Rustic crust today for myself and my partner as a recommendation from a work colleague and I must say she was not wrong!!! We ordered the Margherita and goats cheese pizzas and they were insane! Absolutely loved the flavours, the base and the crispy bits on the crust! We also had a side of homemade pesto dip and coleslaw! Both just as amazing. As we enjoyed it so much we then ordered two desserts; Filthy Cannoli and carrot cake with ice cream. Incredible! The staff were so welcoming and friendly and felt so comfortable!! Honestly this place is worth a visit! You can also bring dogs and sit in the garden! Thankyou!

Fantastic visit today. Pre booked and table ready for us as soon as we arrived. Didn’t struggle to find parking even though the local car park was closed. The wife commented that her meal was the best meal she has had in ages. Staff were excellent and we were made to feel welcome and comfortable on arrival. Being very busy (Good Friday)they still had time to make sure everything was ok. I found the meal fantastic and better than any of the food we had while on a recent short break in Italy. (Yes we did go off from the tourist areas to find restaurants). The portion sizes are very generous and the tiramisu was outstanding. The wife also commented on how good the coffee was but I was too full to try. All in all an excellent meal and very good value for money. Will definitely visit again soon it’s just a shame it’s an hours drive away otherwise I would be visiting more often. Thank you RUSTIC CRUST.

Booked for my dad’s birthday, we had an incredibly warm welcoming from the team who wrote a personalised birthday card for my dad, the food was exceptional and the service was fantastic! My dad even said this was his favourite birthday meal so far and that he wants to come back for next year :)

Where do I start.., as soon as we walked in we were amazed by how big the place was and the authenticity of the place! It’s absolutely stunning. We were treated warmly by Ryan one of the chefs and shown to a cosy booth. The whole team are amazing, very friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble. I took my autistic son with me and they were wonderful with him listening to his feedback. The meatballs for a starter were an instant hit and very tasty . The pizzas (a vegan one and a chefs special), were also amazing. Quick service, the food arrived hot and beautifully presented. A big plus for myself was the fact that all the wines were labelled to show if they were suitable for vegetarians/vegans which many restaurants don’t do! The ambiance makes you feel you are in an Italian restaurant. The owner of the restaurant even stopped to say hello and she was lovely and genuine along with the head chef and manager. We decided to take two pizzas home with us and we were impressed by the quality after warming them through at home . We will definitely be back to this absolute gem and hope to try dining in the courtyard next time.

Had a takeaway from here for the first time last night. Best pizzas we have ever had ! We are frequent visitors to a wood fired pizza van but Rustic Crust knocked their pizzas out of the park ! Garlic bread wasn't to our liking but it was free as we spent over £20. Highly recommend

First time with friends,nice place and atmosphere - we had a garlic bread to start with traditional pizza mushrooms and garlic. Whilst the food was very nice ,the garlic bread was unfortunately burnt around the surface, edge - we did inform the waitress who apologized and later removed the starter from our total bill ,very good . if we are being honest, even our main pizza was a little burnt but still acceptable. Table service was excellent

What an amazing little spot of a pizzeria, first time trying this place after seeing it on Facebook on a Saturday evening. I can’t give my hat off enough to how polite the staff were from the moment we walked in to when we paid our bill. As for the food I have never tasted a pizza as delicious as these, we eat out a lot at restaurants and nothing tops these! We will be back 100% we’ve already rebooked. The only thing I would say is we wasn’t aware that the dips were an extra cost, we asked for some mayonnaise (2 pots) and when the bill came we was charged £1 a pot, I do think sauces should be free as they are at all the restaurants I go to.

Just a great place to celebrate a special birthday when there was 23 people in your party. Pizzas were brilliant, very organised for how many of us there was, would definitely recommend.

Had 2 delicious takeaway pizzas from here can tell the quality of ingredients even though it was busy with valentines dinners they still smashed it out the park. Look forward to eating in, in future.

Visited for valentine's day, the food and service was absolutely fantastic we even had the choice of dining from the set 3 course valentine's menu or the main menu, we opted for the valentine's menu it was absolutely fantastic from the impressive sharing starter right through to the dessert which I had tiramisu which along with the pizza is one of the best I have ever eaten. The service was great nothing was too much trouble, we will definitely be returning very soon. They also have a Fab cocktail menu.

Wow! Some of the best genuine Napoletana Pizza I have had in the UK or Italy! How the place isn't packed with a cue for tables down the street on a Saturday I really don't know! Our new favourite place for pizza. The Tiramisu was also fantastic, subtle but all the flavours. Burrata cheese was amazing too. Good size portions (pizza size spot on for a Pizza monster like myself) and good service too. In a lovely little village with other interesting shops also. Not had a meal out this good in a long time!

We absolutely love this place its our go to for any family night out together . Its pizza's are as good as any you will find anywhere. Proper Neapolitan fired pizzas and the homemade desserts are just fantastic. The staff are always welcoming and attentive. If they have them on, you have to try the Bruschetta with aged balsamic ..and the chocolate mousse.

Hands down, the best pizza you’ll ever have. So much so, that whenever you go out for dinner anywhere else, you’ll refuse to have pizza because nowhere else compares to The Rustic Crust. It’s incredibly priced, the drinks are amazing and the desserts are to die for. Make sure you book in advance though as tables book up quickly.

I really do enjoy eating here and have been many times. My experience is that the staff are always very helpful and we have been looked after well. The restaurant is very clean, amazing decor and atmosphere. The food is ALWAYS top quality and incredibly tasty. Drinks are just as good with lots of choice for both alcoholic drinks and soft drinks. Lots of very close by parking on side streets, also the restaurant is good for accessibility and on one level.

What a find! This Italian is the best place for food and a must if you are visiting in and around Farnsfield. We booked a table with friends on a Sunday lunch. The atmosphere as you walk in is friendly and welcoming. The pizza is to die for and the desserts are not to be missed. I got waaay too excited about the food that I didn’t take any photos apart from the cannoli. staff are super friendly and the food was delivered piping hot and without too much of a wait. I normally always have some constructive criticism when having a meal but I cannot fault this place. I’ll defo be returning with more friends and family to share the love about this place.

The rustic crust has such delicious food, refreshing drinks, attentive staff and passionate owners that I have had my birthday meal here 3 years in a row. The overall atmosphere in the pizzeria is so inviting and friendly that I get so excited every time we make a booking. This is advisable as they’re often booked up quickly especially if you want to secure a time. The pizza is some of the best I’ve ever eaten. All made fresh to order from the kitchen which you can see from the restaurant, a lovely touch, many topping options for that touch of preference. Starters and specials that are so yummy too. I can turn into a meal of many courses very quickly! Always great to see lots of people visit including families and children and they’re made to feel just as valued and special as the adults. The tiramisu needs its own special part of the review, quite simply I can only describe it as SENSATIONAL! It’s full of flavour and indulgent but remains light and creamy from the first to the last spoonful. I am pleased to have been able to be a pizza stalker since before the restaurant opened. I am glad to see the staff have been very well trained. For those who haven't been before the ambiance is rustic yet cozy, the service is attentive, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the pizza-making process is evident. Such a lovely restaurant. Real Neapolitan pizza and amazing quality ingredients. The staff are always really welcoming and the atmosphere is welcoming and warm. Would highly recommend the pesto and burrata as a starter, it’s such a delicious combo. And the proper pepperoni pizza is the best pepperoni I’ve ever tried. Could not recommend this place more.

Been here a few times now and cannot fault at all. Staff and service is fantastic, food is always delicious and well priced. Will be back soon and would definitely recommend.
