The best restaurants serving Italian food in East Midlands

Aparte de mi amigo y yo sólo había otros dos mesas de 4, lo que me pareció extraño para un restaurante del centro de la ciudad en la noche del sábado. El lugar estaba limpia, sin embargo las mesas para dos parecía bastante estrecho (había un descansillo al platillo con cafetera, en el centro (sí descansillo de pot). La botella de vino más barato (un Pinot a £18,95 estaba fuera de stock, así que tuvimos que pagar £22 por otra). La comida era nada más que hacer en casa así que era muy disapponting. Mi pollo en salsa de queso tenía un ver-por salsa y las verduras estaba fría. Las patatas fritas eran también muy salada. Mis amigos pasta era sólo un poco dificulte pasta en una salsa de crema, pero otra vez estaba muy por debajo de la media. Además, el camarero no podía comprender que queríamos una botella de agua también y cuidado al intentar dar agua del grifo. Yo realmente no perdería mi tiempo y dinero para comer aquí.

Esta es nuestra 4a visita y esta vez como con todas nuestras otras visitas ha sido fantástico. El lugar es eficiente y muy limpio, el personal y muy rápido para mantener su mesa limpia. Quitar los platos para tener una mesa limpia a la que volver cada vez que te vayas por más comida. Tanta comida para elegir y muy sabrosa. He leído comentarios de que la comida no está lo suficientemente caliente y estoy de acuerdo en que podría ser un poco más caliente. Sin embargo toda la experiencia es fantástica, profesional y divertida.

Massivley underated. The Casa is perfect - friendly service, nice atmosphere and good quality food and coffee at very fair prices. Visted with my daughter (so glad I managed to persuade her to come here instead of Macdonalds). We had a full English each for lunch - cooked quickly and fresh. Unlike some places, they haven't cheapened out on ingredients and the bacon and sausage are decent quality. Coffee is excellent.

Been to matlock numerous times nice to see this place open had a lotus crunch waffle which was delicious with a hot chocolate 🍫

Incredibly slow service. 45 minutes to get a starter which was cooked pizza dough with baby plum tomatoes on top and unwashed greens, followed by a pizza arriving another 45 minutes later. We had to ask waiter to cancel dessert as we simply couldn’t wait another 45 minutes. Very strange as restaurant only had 8 customers at a time.

Booked a table for Saturday at 7 pm arrived a bit early to find the place shut, several other couples also turned up but still Henry’s remained closed, no contact or reason given for the place being closed, very disappointed, will not be going back.

Our first visit and won’t be our last. Staff so welcoming and helpful. Had a very tasty pizza and a large salad to share. The only negative was having to use the plastic knife and fork, impossible to cut with. Did not put us off and will return after this stupid second lockdown has ended. Please do try, really is a very sweet place better than the big chains.

Gran comida servida incluyendo parrillas mixtas y arroz afgano. El servicio fue rápido y los precios increíbles. Sin duda volveré de nuevo.

Staying at local hotel for week...and thought try TC Express...instead of full TC restaurant as used in past. Situated in The Hub not far from cark park 3 entrance to Hub. Parking fees during day...but visited after 6pm and did not have to pay! Not full and given choice to sit anywhere - good start!. Friendly staff from manager all the way to chef....cooking area in main restaurant. Drinks first - red wine large glass....good quality and not bad price. Starter shared was Ali De Pollo - breaded wings with garlic mayo. Wings really crispy and chicken moist succulent. These are not the small wings that you normally get but plenty of meat!. Main courses were Carbonara and Pollo al Funghi - breaded chicken covered with mushroom sauce. Food excellent. Service Excellent. Manager friendly and spent time being interested in finding out who we were and how we found the meal! We def visit again next time up in area.

Mosedale’s staff welcomed me and my dog (Bruce) with a kind smile as soon as we entered. A wide variety of filled rolls and paninis was on offer. I must recommend treating yourself to a superb Carrot Cake! All in all I would definitely recommend!

I am the fussiest person on the the planet but I have to say this was the best sea food meal that I have ever had!!!!!! It was amazing. I wasn't sure I wanted to go but it was my sons birthday and he said that was where it was going to be, reluctantly I agreed? It was amazing. "The service was great and the food was spectactular!!! Please try it. I was prejudiced before because of my bad experience in the previous chilli village and I didnt know that it had changed. It has.

Appalled at the poor customer service. On every drinks menu they advertised 15% off food on a Thursday after 4pm. I went in with my two children and ate an average pizza. When the bill came, there wasn't any discount. When I pointed this out, I was told 'we don't do that anymore'. I pointed out that it was advertised. Supervisor couldn't have cared less. She refused to do anything. I asked her to call the owner. She came back and said they still wouldn't do anything. I said it was false advertising and that I'd let people know on Facebook. She called me immature! So unprofessional and unkind. An apology and recognition of THEIR error would've been a better approach. Surely if they advertise a discount they need to honour it?! I won't be returning. The food isn't even that good.

Went in with my girlfriend, we were served very quickly and politely. Food arrived very fast and was tasty and reasonably priced

The staff were quick to serve and very friendly. I got my waffle very soon after paying and sat and ate in a nice dining area.

Lee las buenas críticas así que decidimos reservar una mesa para un grupo de 10. Tratado repetidas veces durante cinco días en diferentes ocasiones por la mañana, tarde y noche para reservar una mesa. El teléfono sólo anillos para las edades dice entonces una máquina de respuesta no puede dejar un mensaje. en coche pasando a la hora que tenía el número correcto- mismo número va una propinilla según el frente. Una vez el teléfono respondió y me pidieron que llamar más tarde, de la cual probamos una y otra vez no sirvió para nada. Tienen su lugar reservado vivos al final de la carretera. - Ciao si vas a correr un negocio por lo menos responder su teléfono, o un servicio adecuado para responder de máquina!
