Henrys Bar & Restaurant in East Lindsey

Booked a table for Saturday at 7 pm arrived a bit early to find the place shut, several other couples also turned up but still Henry’s remained closed, no contact or reason given for the place being closed, very disappointed, will not be going back.

Went out for a family dinner the food (Roast dinner) and service was amazing, would definitely recommend a visit.

Very impressed with the interior design, welcomed by fun friendly staff. Husband had ribs to start and said they were the best he'd ever had! 4 of us had different meals, all happy with the meals. Pricing good. Owner came to introduce himself and chef came to chat. We'll certainly return. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Was visiting the area over the Easter hols and found ourselves here. So clean, elegant and the best ribs I have ever had. Service was friendly and professional, thoroughly enjoyed this place.

Highly recommended food was amazing. Keep up with the friendly staff and will be returning soon this is a very special venue. Sunday lunch tomorrow can not wait. Great staff and will definitely be returning

On the way to Skegness we found this amazing and hidden gem Italian Restaurant Stopped by for a dinner and it was the best experience my family and I had in years !!! Cocktail made to perfection by Fred, very experienced manager, always there looking after he’s customers, the food is so delicious Thank you for giving us a real test of Italy We’ll definitely be back

You couldn’t even make this up. I’m not saying the waiter was telling lies so I’ll tell you what happened and what was said and you can decide for your self. My wife and I booked a table for 18.00 And arrived on time my wife order a red wine and I ordered a half pint of lager, the red wine was served in a white wine glass but that can be forgiven my half pint just became a full pint, that can be forgiven as a misunderstanding, so far not too bad! My wife ordered Filet steak and I salmon filet, 20 minutes late (unbelievable) the waiter brought a ribeye steak to my wife and said, (this is where the lie is possible) the chef has just taken delivery of the meat and he is not happy with the quality of the filet steak and has cooked you a ribeye instead, now bear in mind it is now 18.30 and meat deliveries normally take place in the morning and not during evening service. My wife refused the ribeye and ordered a cheese burger.My salmon filet is now in the kitchen waiting no doubt under a hot lamp so I asked the waiter if this was so but he told me that he had asked the chef to cook a fresh one. 15 minutes later our order was brought to the table I was given a dried up salmon filet (freshly cooked) and my wife’s burger complete with pre-cooked bacon and processed cheese. I pointed out to the waiter that my salmon was dry and over cooked and he started to explain to me why the salmon was cooked to perfection, little did he know that I am a fully qualified chef with 30 years experience. All in all a disaster. As I said I’m not calling him a lier.

ery bad experience for my partners birthday, we had a taxi booked for 1800 and taxi turned up at 1730, we also asked about free taxi service which they tried to charge us £30 for that, I believe was a miss communication, there was suppose to be Prosecco on the table which I pre arranged with the manager to get there and find out there wasn’t, food was average carbanara could of done with the bacon been cooked thoroughly, pizza was good, garlic bread just tasted like bread, also was suppose to have a birthday cake brought out at the end and we didn’t have that brought out either, The manager is new there and could of done with a bit of support been a new manager on a Saturday night by his self I believe he had to call in a member of team to help he was that busy. Overall experience was bad especially been my first time there and the manager arguing back with my partner which I think is disgusting behaviour having worked in the hospitality industry for 10 years he could definatly do with some training or abit more support. Safe to say I will not be returning there unless things change

Having arrived on time for our lunch we were asked to be seated next to the bar area as our table was not ready. The menu’s were given to us while we waited before being shown to a table that appeared to be ready when we entered the restaurant. Despite having been given the menu’s we then had to wait a further 10 minutes before actually ordering our food which did take some time to arrive at our table. The roast beef was very nice but we would suggest that the vegetables that came for us all needed to be provided in a dish as the flat plate that they were served on did make it somewhat difficult to serve onto our plates. Despite forgetting the horseradish sauce and the additional drink for one of our party ( which had been forgotten and when it eventually arrived it was complementary) we were suitably impressed with the surroundings.

First visit and impressed by the decor and extremely friendly and helpful staff. We has 2 Sunday lunches which were nice and reasonably priced- and the desserts were extremely nice. The atmosphere was relaxed with no pressure at all, and there was a live performance by a really good singer ??? Johnny who sounded a bit like Jack Savaretti and really helped to create a chilled vibe. Everything was very clean and the owner and staff are making a big effort to be welcoming and make a success of the venture.

Lovely meal out for 12 people last night for my daughter's 4th birthday. Waiters were amazing especially Fred who made a real effort with my daughter. Food was great other than my mums lasagne coming quite a while after everyone else was eating. The live singer had a great voice. We will definitely be back.

we went today for lunch and from start to finish it was amazing the food the serivce the whole atmosphere was brilliant x will be back again felt so special xx thank you guys

what can say the pictures of these dishes speaks for its self is a gem of a restaurant for the surrounding area I recommend this place very highly

We have just visited Henrys Bar for our first Sunday lunch since moving to Skegness we didnt book and just turned up, we were greeted by friendly staff, We informed them i have coeliac ((gluten free diet), We were assured this would not be a problem,we ordered Sunday lunch , we both had genorous servings of meat and nice fresh well cooked vegatables,(just what is required for a GOOD Sunday lunch) it was a friendly welcoming atmosphere and wont be our last visit

I ordered a takeaway pizza for collection, by phone at 7:00. Was told it would be 35 to 40 mins but they took my number and said they would ring me when it was ready. I rang again at 8:00 and was told that they forgot to ring me but I could go and collect it now. I didn’t think to look at it but when I opened it at home it was disgusting. The cheese was well over cooked and the crust was burnt. It didn’t even taste like a margarita, no tomato garlic mozzarella ir herbs, just cheese on a burnt base. I may as well have cooked myself cheese on toast. If you are thinking of ordering a pizza, go anywhere but Henry’s!!!!!!!
