WOLF Italian Street Food in Nottingham

Our first visit and won’t be our last. Staff so welcoming and helpful. Had a very tasty pizza and a large salad to share. The only negative was having to use the plastic knife and fork, impossible to cut with. Did not put us off and will return after this stupid second lockdown has ended. Please do try, really is a very sweet place better than the big chains.

La mejor pizza horneada a la piedra. Tú eliges tus propios ingredientes. Todos los ingredientes eran frescos. Fuimos con un bono de groupon y fue una ganga. Se adapta tanto a adultos como a niños. No te decepcionará. ¿Gracias por el excelente servicio al cliente?

Había escuchado cosas buenas sobre Wolf y no me decepcionó: comida recién preparada con una variedad de ingredientes interesantes, ¡eso fue muy exquisito! La comida para llevar fue rápida y eficiente y el área de preparación de alimentos estaba impecablemente limpia.

Ojalá hubiera probado este lugar antes. ¡Las pizzas al horno de piedra son increíbles! buena elección de ingredientes frescos y no soy una persona de ensalada, pero de nuevo estaba delicioso. Gran variedad de rellenos y salsas. limpia cocina abierta y el personal fue muy servicial y muy amable. Incluso pudimos probar una muestra de una dulce Piada en la que están pensando para su menú, lo que me hace querer probar una sabrosa Piada ahora para ser honesto (burrito italiano). Muy limpio, sentado arriba y abajo. En la planta baja también hay obras de arte a la venta en las paredes y un pequeño escenario, ya que algunas noches tienen comedias, etc. ¡Sin duda volveremos!

El personal muy amable, fueron increíblemente acogedores. La encimera y la cocina se veían impecables. Comida encantadora Definitivamente vendría otra vez

Been a few times now. The piada with pork meatballs is already a firm favourite. Try it! And with friendly staff it makes this a great lunch option in central Nottingham.

Redeemed a groupon voucher when I hadn’t even eaten here, basically stole my money and refused to respond to any form of contact

We were served by Alex who was friendly and efficient. He and the manager explained the menu and showed us our options. We shared a pizza and a salad and had our choice of ingredients prepared in front of us. Lovely informal lunch. The stand out element is the customer service. Faultless.

Went with Groupon and with not high expectations. Staff were lovely and really helpful - But pizza extremely average with pizza bases with sauces already frozen on and bland congealed cheese. Zero atmosphere in the cold basement and despite premium cost for wine served in horrid plastic cups and worst was the flimsy plastic knifes and forks to tackle the tough pizza bases. Overall seems like they’ve done the hard work (great staff, spotlessly clean) but haven’t got tithe basics right (for gods sakes real knifes and forks)!

Was welcomed with very good helpful service. The food was very nice. Recommend the pizza. Would go back.

The staff are very friendly but the food is not worth a visit. Had the pizza which in all honesty was like eating a cheap frozen pizza. The sauce was bland and the cheese was that rubbery kind that you get. Like I said staff are nice but there are much better pizza places on the square.

Went there last night with my hubby on a groupon staff where excellent and omg the food incredible and lots of it highly highly recommend would definitely go back had a fabulous meal

Visited WOLF and ordered pizza. The restaurant is similar to MOD or Inferno pizza. You can make your own pizza with a choice of topping. However they also have other menu choices. The pizza base was thick/cardboard-y and tasted pre bought. It was very similar to a frozen oven bake pizza you can make at home. This was really disappointing as the restaurant is themed around offering authentic Italian food. I didn’t enjoy the pizza. The location and decor is great and the staff were helpful. However I wouldn’t recommend WOLF.

Places like this are important for any food community. Eateries that offers decent quality food at a reasonable price are the type of places where you are more likely to attend over and over again. Admittedly I haven’t sampled enough of the food on offer to really say over all whether it is good or not. I had the Margarita pizza, which I felt was ok however could be improved by making it thin crust and more crispier, the base felt similar to an oven bake pizza but the sauce and cheese was good enough to make up for it. In addition I felt like it could have benefitted from allowing to rest and cook under its own heat, as I felt the base wasn’t done yet but got better over time. In terms of the venue and atmosphere, it is pretty good. But I feel as if they urgently need to bring the standard of the food up to the same level. At this price point I wasn’t expecting the best, but I did feel like it could benefit from the slightest of changes that make all the difference. The service was very good however I could see that they had to go over and apologies for problems with food and give out freebies. If they improved the quality of the food and maintained this friendly service, I cannot see why a place like this wouldn’t be very popular venue for casual dining / lunch.
