Absolutely fantastic food, something for everyone on the menu with a great kids selection. Generous portion sizes and excellent service. Great atmosphere in the bar with dogs being made very welcome. Altogether a great country pub experience. We will certainly not leave it so long next time till we re visit

Lovely restaurant with modern furnishings. Attentive and friendly staff. Only criticism is the calamari was rubbery. Gorgeous cocktails and the spaghetti and meatballs was delicious. Generous portions. Wouldnt hesitate to go back.

Today 10/8/2024 we were on our way to Mablethorpe to enjoy a family holiday and some time out after my husband sadly losing his beloved grandma 4 weeks prior. We unfortunately broke down just outside of Lincoln, luckily we were fixed by the AA back on the road within a couple of hours. Great we thought! not 32 miles later the car breaks down AGAIN! Luckily for us, just outside the lovely Bambarinos Italian restaurant! What was an extremely stressful day was made to feel a little bit easier by the kind and generous people here! Giving myself and hubby tea and coffee and my children pizza and chips free of charge. Thank you so much, it’s nice to know there’s still kind and genuine people in the world. Your kindness meant so much today. Cheryl & Dean Willis

Went to the Ropers with friends ..our first visit. Situated along the River in Horncastle Road Boston, The Ropers is an old pub now converted into an Italian Bistro. The manager was very friendly, and welcoming., and offered us home made crisps which were so delicous. Sadly my meal didn’t live up to the high expectation l had. My tempura prawns were all batter and hardly any prawn..not very nice at all.My chicken in mushroom main coarse was quite tough as Infact was my wife’s steak. Sadly a rather disappointing visit.

Lovely restaurant, with great atmosphere, and excellent service. The food was extremely good. The chicken liver starter was amazing, in fact all our food was tasty and well cooked. The house wine was surprisingly good. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others and will definitely be returning.

Sunday carvery. It is only possible to review if you compare with other Sunday carvery's. This is a restaurant so that needs to be taken into account when compareing it with pub carvery's. Things I noted. It took a short time for someone to take a drinks order and explain the format to us. The plates were cold and so the food went cold or colder very quickly. The meat was sparse and cut very thinnly. We were given 1 carrot, this surprised me. A small amout of I think he said "cauliflower cheese" was also added to the cold plate. Not a sufficient amount to have an opinion on. The other vegatables you serve yourself. The gravey was nice and hot and it helped because all the food needed to be hotter. We watched the chef cut a cake for a party sitting near us. He served that with a tin of squirty cream. That again surprised me that a restaurant would do that. The waiting staff came to clear plates and asked if everything was alright? I told them the food could have been hotter and he did not seem to know what to say to me. I think we expected more because it is a restaurant and not a pub, perhaps that expectation was too high? It was ok but compared to other Sunday carvery's it was by far not the best.
